Bad dream
General | Posted 9 years agoYa know... this "victory" for butterface and everyone trying to say, "Get over it", "You'll live", "suck it up, the people spoke", just comes back to me and all I'm hearing is, "I'm privileged", "I've never had to deal with being unsafe on a daily basis so I'm going to show an utter lack of empathy and understanding towards others".
I don't know why it still surprises me. It obviously shouldn't seeing as what just happened but it doesn't make it hurt any less.
I came out for 2 reasons in 2014.
1. I was suicidal and needed to finally do something about it.
2. I felt safe enough to do so both family side and social side.
Going on almost 3 years into my transition and I'm absolutely terrified right now. Not only for my self but for my family.
In almost 3 years I have dealt with threats against my life, threats of rape, managers attempting to fire me or make me use private restrooms. I've had doctors treat me like I'm insane, keep me in unsafe spaces and belittle me.
I've had countless purposeful misgenderings by people who chose not to understand.
But not once did I feel this terrified. I've been frustrated before at the system for denying me necessary medical coverage but I've never quite feared it.
Today is different.
And if you don't understand that, or try to play it like it's "Not so bad" you obviously haven't taken the time to consider exactly who is going to be sitting in office 9 days before my birthday. You haven't listened and your lack of empathy is disturbing. If you want to keep arguing with me that this won't be nearly as bad as all "liberaltards" keep blowing it up to be, then I have no issue blacklisting you.
Let me break it down for you in a general way:
Fuckface has promised to repeal obamacare. With a republican run senate and house, this will pass in a heartbeat. There goes my insurance for my family.
My state hasn't expanded medicaid so we'll be floating in medical debt land beyond any repair.
Fuckface's VP also just happens to be a religions right wing nut who thinks conversion therapy is a godsend to wipe these gays out of our community. He also in general has a very anti-lgbtqia view point and has before whispered shit in Fuckface's ears and will continue to do so to further his own religious agenda.
So that leaves my husband and I in an ostracized area. We are already hanging on by a thread as far as discrimination protections go, with him in office, we'll have no rope left. Which means we could loose our housing if they lift those discrimination bans and say.. my landlords want to find new tenants that'll pay more and want us out.
So that's two direct points that effect me directly. Let's take it a notch more!
Trans is a good hot button topic right? With Penhead sitting there cackling from above, I can watch all my protections as a human sink away. He'll fuel a fire wide open to start those bans on trans bathroom issues once again. States will pick them back up and what then? It'll be HB2 on a wide end scale. I could walk into a bathroom at a gas station and if someone happens to question me, I'll have literally no legs to stand on.
Of course, this is just a generalized sample of things that they have already said they would be doing or gesturing in that direction.
Granted, I could get extremely lucky and they leave trans rights alone. While I'm not afraid of butterface on that level, I'm scared shitless of what pendick will do instead.
I already live in fear of being outted in public.. I fear holding my husband's hand in front of others. I fear of being raped and murdered just for being who I am.
So when I hear people say, "Get over it, it's not as bad as you make it". I hear the words, "Go fuck yourself, you don't matter".
Can I make it these 4 years? If I'm cautious. If I play my cards right.
I've wanted to move to Canada for the last 3 years, nothing has changed there but I know realistically it's a long way out of reach. Mainly financially.
I would and am looking into relocating to Oregon. The state has protections in place for trans persons and would probably be a bit safer than my own state right now.
So it's an option. An option that I plan to work out and take the soonest I can.
I didn't throw away my vote. I placed my vote in fear and was still let down.
All the progress the lgbtqia had made has now been put on hold if not going to be pushed back.
It's distressing.
I just want to have the same rights as any other human being in this country.
Apparently, being treated equally on a lawful level is just something they don't want us to have.
That's my election rant. I'm not going to debate with you. This is MY journal. MY space. I opened the floor but I'm not opening the hate door.
Don't have something civil and nice to say, don't type it. I'll delete it and blacklist as needed.

Anyone use Sai 2 Beta?
General | Posted 9 years agoI ran across a memory issue on my Sai1 while working on the orgy picture <_>;
So with some help from Pylon, I downloaded the Sai 2 beta and unlocked it with my Sai 1 cert.
Moved over my textures etc.. but the brushes from Sai 1 won't convert over to Sai 2. Most likely due to the rework on them.
The base brushes are driving me nutty to say the least. I tried translating over some of my more used brushes manually via control panel but they aren't exact and I kinda wanna punch something.
Does anyone know how to convert brushes from Sai 1 to Sai 2 beta?
Does anyone know of any custom brushes for Sai 2 beta?
I LOVE Sai 2's current features and memory capacity.. I was like a kid in a candy store last night checking it all out but these damn brushes D: URG
-sobs- Help?

You ever...
General | Posted 9 years ago...Just have one of those days where you feel like you either need to punch something or wave the white flag and crawl into an air conditioned hole for a week?
That's been pretty much this week already -_-;
TL;DR: Just.. ranting about shit. I am opening for 1 commission because fuck my life. Details below, marked in bold as well. *This was taken ;w; ty!*
Today was supposed to be an art day. Do I get that? Nope. My landlord office called yesterday while I was at work (good timing because I just got on break) and informed me that the guy who owns the house we're renting will be in town from California so he can view and inspect his 7 properties he owns in the area on Friday.
I've obviously been busy and ya know.. missing that thing called motivation for the past 4 months or so and my house needed to be cleaned. Don't take that as my house is piled high with bullshit. But it needed a dusting, a few things moved, the lawn mowed and a good scrub.
So that's what I did today mostly.
Though this morning I was taking Nanook to my friends to get a good deshed brushing and a bath and I about lost my shit.
Had dog in my suv. Had AC cranked high. Had some nice music on. I was going to be literally 5 minutes or less. Locked my door, took key less remote with me.
Buy said drink. Get back to car and my fucking remote and car decided they weren't on the best terms anymore and decided to not unlock my freaking doors D:
So I had to call AAA for a locksmith. Issue was my roomie (the card holder) wasn't with me, spent an hour trying to get a ride to me before the locksmith got there and didn't make it.
So I get scolded by said locksmith even though I had photo proof of her ID and card..
He got pissed, said he couldn't wait for said roomie to show up, opened my car and left :/
Then I failed at life in more ways than one because I feel like a worthless p.o.s. and after scraping money to last this long, I've got $4 in my account and we don't get paid for another week and a half. fml.
I've got work tomorrow 9-2. Then I have the funeral wake in the evening.
I than have to be in Lexington by 12:30 for the funeral which is an hour and a half drive one way.
On a mild bright note, I /should... SHOULD/ get time Saturday before I work to get art going. Maybe even Friday evening if emotions aren't sunk in a ditch somewhere.
Sunday I work 1-6:30 but I'm off literally Monday through Friday cause.. corporate offices hiring too many people.
So I should get tons of time next week to do nothing but art which should take a good chunk of commissions off my list.
So yup.. just felt like pouring my brains out. If you'd like some art from me you can comment or note me. -Here is a cookie for those who read this far- http://gugin.com/wp-content/uploads.....ger-cookie.png

Finally starting work Wednesday!
General | Posted 9 years agoMy background check finally cleared today with Target!
So just a heads up, getting back to busy mode. I WILL still work on art when I am able to. Just going to be a bit slower again.

An update of sorts, cause my life is so interesting >_>;
General | Posted 9 years agoJust got back from the Dr's office and she listened to me!
She wrote me out for 20mg pills and said if in 10-14 days the 20mg a day isn't cutting it, take one of my 10mg and try 30.
;w; So freakin relieved that she listened this time.
I also nabbed an appointment for my husband on Friday morning because he's got this weird.. abscess. Not going into detail but yeah. Needs to be checked asap.
I have to try and pay for that appointment since his deductible hasn't been met yet.
It's $70 for his visit.
So I'm going to try and push out a few adopts when I can.
I'm also starting work tonight, well it's orientation, but they might have me train after etc. I won't know my schedule though until probably tonight.
If they followed my availability I should be working either open or 9am to 3pm weekdays and who only knows weekends. But I'm happy at least I'll have dedicated shifts.
I am working on art as fast as I can. I promise. I have 2 things in wip form atm with more to be sketched hopefully soon.
I am honestly sorry it's taking as long as it is. Hopefully with a more dedicated schedule I will be able to finally place some more time for it.
Thank you to those who have been so super patient with me.
I really appreciate it. <3

My last journal on this.
General | Posted 9 years agoI'm putting some links here. Do what you will with the information.
I'm not debating, I'm not going to talk to cherry pickers trying to justify these things anymore.
I'm leaving this journal here as an informational drop to CP and CP drawings in the US and the legality along with them.
If you are confused on any part of the legal terms, I would suggest contacting a lawyer and asking for clarification.
I took a moment and found a chart that explained other countries laws on CP and possesion of it. Take this with a grain of salt and still spend time researching for a specific country you have in mind.

18 U.S. Code § 1466A - Obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1466A
Recent judgments and convictions under this Code 1466A: https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/search/search.action?na=&se=&sm=&flr=&ercode=&dateBrowse=&govAuthBrowse=&collection=&historical=false&st=1466A&psh=10&sbh=&tfh=&originalSearch=1466A&fromState=&sb=dno&ps=10&sb=re&ps=10

Just one example of many where someone is being convicted of possessing drawings of CP, pending sentencing currently from this record. Prior conviction has been stated in the link for also CP.

What is even life? c.c;
General | Posted 9 years agoCleared a lot of old journals and wanted to just toss up another one for the front page.
Figure I'd pop in to say I start my new Job at Target on Wednesday (Orientation) and should get my schedule.
Hopefully it'll be a bit more stable than my previous job.
Anyways, going to relax, draw and enjoy my holiday weekend, mostly away from FA.
The amount of gross people in the fandom has gave me nothing but a stomach ache and a headache.
I'll contact clients as needed etc.
Have a good weekend!

You're not alone
General | Posted 10 years agoIn light of recent events that's making its way through fans of Markiplier and Cyndigo, I wanted to touch briefly here on the matter.
You're not alone. A lot of this world, including my self, suffer from forms of depression. Some days are harder than others, weeks even, we may find ourselves in a slump. Our minds telling us we're alone, not worth much if anything, motivation all but gone. This disease effects us in the most vulnerable places in our selves so much so it's hard to see through it.
But you're not alone and it's ok to ask for help.
To those who don't quite understand depression or may of never had it, I wanted to explain this how I explained it to my husband.
You could have the "happiest life, financially secure, good friends etc" and still have depression. Depression doesn't care what your life looks like. It'll hit you when you least expect it and take hold of you. It'll turn your opinions upside down and straight to the gutter. It is not circumstantial to your life or life style. Depression isn't /just/ sadness.
Depression Disorder:
The leading cause of disability in the U.S. for ages 15 to 44.3
Affects approximately 14.8 million American adults, or about 6.7 percent of the U.S. population age 18 and older in a given year.
While major depressive disorder can develop at any age, the median age at onset is 32.5
More prevalent in women than in men.
Persistent depressive disorder, or PDD, (formerly called dysthymia) is a form of depression that usually continues for at least two years.
Affects approximately 1.5 percent of the U.S. population age 18 and older in a given year. (about 3.3 million American adults).
The median age of onset is 31.1
Not forgetting also that other mental conditions also can have onsets of depression, such as bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety and panic disorder as a few examples.
If you or a loved one is experiencing what could be depression, please, reach out to someone. If the person you reached out to isn't helping, find someone. Be it online, in real life or even a prevention hotline. Find a doctor, nurse, someone. You're life is not for waste and you are precious.

This situation that has happened has made me think a lot. About my self, others and much more. Last year I went through two whole months of depression. It was one of many episodes I'd had in my life but the first time that I recognized I was suffering from it. My husband didn't understand why all my motivation was gone. Why I thought everyone hated me, why all I wanted to do was sleep and cry. It was hard going through that with someone who didn't empathize with me.
I want you all to know that I do empathize with you. I understand. And I know it's hard. But just know, you're not alone and asking for help is ok. Don't let those thoughts get the best of you, reach out if you feel you're in danger. We love you. We'll be here for you. ♥

Participating in the Naturama Project!
General | Posted 10 years agoI thought I'd go ahead and introduce you all to the Naturama Project! It's a wonderful site that donates all it's proceeds to animal charities around the world!
How does it work?
You choose an artist that's open, follow the website guidelines etc, pay to get a slot with a chosen artist and all those proceeds go straight to a charity of the artists choosing and you get art! How awesome is that?
I'm actually participating! I've opened a few special slots that'll be done before Halloween if ordered in time! If you'd like to participate please visit the site here and take a look!

I'm actually participating! I've opened a few special slots that'll be done before Halloween if ordered in time! If you'd like to participate please visit the site here and take a look!

Keep at it! Improvement DOES happen!
General | Posted 11 years agoSo originally I saw lorena journal Here which also directed to Celestina's journal About how people will comment about how their art will never be as good as "example X's and they should just give up."
I have heard this dozens of times even directed at myself. I have heard, "I'm so awful compared to you, I just want to die/stop/give up!" And while at the time it may seem like it'll take a 100 years until you see improvement, it DOES happen and actually sooner than you may realize!
And guess what? It happens even faster the more you work at it! Of course nothing happens over night, but if you really keep at it, you'll get there.
We all start from the ground and the only place is up.
My earliest works till the very recent stuff:
(And this was when I took years of breaks because of having kids. Kids do that to you sometimes lol)
First submission on my DA from July 5, 2003: A bit bloodyish
Some of my first furry art from July 19, 2003: Hey Rex!
Neko girl from February 28, 2007: used ps7 back then wows!
Celesti back from June 25, 2010: Bit of nudity
Hybrid Celesti from May 19th, 2012: When I first started painting
Gift for my dad from February 13th, 2012 Olldddd
New gift for my dad from August 12th, 2013 Yay new!
One of my fave paintings I've done so far from September 15th, 2013 Hex
So from my earliest posting dates back on Deviantart in 2003 to now in 2014. It's taken me 11 years give or take 2-3 years in there, to get where I'm at today. And I just didn't start in 2003. I had been drawing years even before that on and off when I should of been doing school work >>
It takes time! It takes patience! It takes perseverance! But it DOES HAPPEN! So the next time you see someone who is "better" than you think you'll ever be, stop your self right there, pick up that pencil or whatever you use, and get to work. Get inspired from them instead of loathing them!

What's been on my mind.
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I finally get to say what's been coursing through my brain for the last number of years to everyone here!
I'm going to preface this with, yes some of you probably guessed it, or caught my hints. *hands you a cookie*
I'm also going to say a lot of you are going to have some shock? Idk..
I just ask that you please refrain from asking me personal.. space invading questions. That's between my self and my husband and I would like it to stay that way.
Now, *sets small drum roll out* I am a FtM Transgender Male. Tada! Nothing big! I mean sure, it's big to me. But I'm not going to become a completely different person on the inside or nothing. Just going to finally make my outer self look like my inner one. My art won't change or nothing. Celesti stays the same and we all win!
I will say that yes, I'd prefer if people used male pronouns towards me. If you forget it's ok it happens. Would it make me super happy if you used male pronouns for me? Yes, yes it would.
On a wonderfully fantastic note, my husband is amazing, my children are amazing and my family is fantastic too! I have a psych apt set up for tomorrow morning and blood work being started by my wonderful physician on Friday.
So after the last nerve wracking almost 2 weeks. I finally can get this off of my chest.
Just.. small warning/disclaimer:
Also.. if you're going to be downright rude, insist I would look better with my boobs/as a female ect.. take your self entitlement out of my journal and onto my block list please. I understand this is the internet. But there is no excuse for comments like that in a journal like this. So I just ask if you can't say anything decently nice, don't say anything at all. <3
I hope everyone's week is going good! I am off to go relax! <3

You, artists, refunds, paypal and chargebacks
General | Posted 12 years agoTaken from
There have been some disturbing trends in the furry commission world that I'd like to take a moment to address.
First, artists and commissioners:
No Refund clauses are not okay. They would not hold up in court. I understand furry doesn't typically end up in court, but there's a reason everyone you buy from can't just take your money and say no refunds. This is not A Thing you are Allowed To Do.
And yet it seems to have become popular for artists to put this in their Terms of Service. It is another thing entirely to have a bad commissioner and only want to refund them for work you haven't done, and that is not what I'm discussing here. I am also not discussing non-refundable deposits on fursuits. I'm discussing throwing in a no refunds clause and deciding it's okay to keep the money of people you don't like or who have upset you in some way, or even just to point at if the client wants a refund so you can go, "Well look, you agreed to my TOS, so that means no refund and now I don't have to do your art! Yay!". Just because you write something in your TOS and the commissioner seemingly agrees to it, that doesn't necessarily make it legally binding. You really can't just put whatever you want in a TOS.
No, you can't do that. There is no real circumstance where it would be legal or morally okay to both keep someone's money and their product. If a client is being a huge jerk and you don't want to work for them anymore, refund them and blacklist them. Don't be the worse person by becoming a thief. I'd personally rather hang out with a jerk than someone who would steal from me. Though I suppose they could be both, huh?
And to commissioners, please read your artist's TOS before you commission them, and if you see something shady like a no refund clause, DON'T COMMISSION THEM! This is a big red flag. Just.. don't do it. The kind of people who would have these clauses to begin with are usually the ones a little more likely to screw you (and they're the ones that often end up on AB...). And not the good kind.
Onto the second problem.
There has been an unfortunate rash of chargebacks in the community lately. Someone, somewhere, decided that if paying through paypal with a credit card, they can merely wait until they receive the art and then file a chargeback via their bank, and tada!! Free art!
This is fraud. This is Theft of Services. Yes, that is a real crime. I understand furries aren't exactly known for taking legal action, but before you think you're so smart in your ill-gotten piles of porn art, understand that you are taking a great risk, and for what? You're going to risk being arrested/sued for the sake of pictures of your character? Ridiculous.
For the artists, there is unfortunately not much that can be done to curb this. With paypal, they will want some sort of proof of shipping, and for many artists they simply won't have it as it would be for digital works. What's worse, the length of time people can charge back is far longer than the 45 days provided by paypal. Many times, people can chargeback up to roughly a year! All I can recommend it to use invoices (which won't necessarily protect you, but will let you keep things more organized), to always make sure you have enough in your paypal/bank account to cover a possible chargeback, and if you really want to get creative, you can start shipping something for every digital piece that you do. Just make sure you label your invoices in such a way that it looks like the client is paying for what it is you're sending, and that the art is just a little thing on the side. However, this is impractical and may scare off clients who think you'll use that same reasoning to screw them, as they would likely not be able to get their money back via paypal as long as you sent that object, regardless of whether you actually created the art you owed.
This will likely continue to be a problem until someone chargebacks the wrong person, and ends up arrested/in court. People will hear about it, and most (not all, people who do these things don't tend to be very smart) will realize risking such an extreme punishment isn't worth pictures of their wolf trying to look sexy. If it happens to you, make sure you post your experience on artists_beware and do your best to get the word out so others can avoid being scammed.
One last thing... paypal fees. I still regularly find artists who erronously believe it is okay to put in their TOS or otherwise that the client must pay the paypal fees. This is against paypal's terms of service and will get your account FROZEN. The fee is for you, the seller to pay, as you are taking advantage of their service to make money. It is perfectly reasonable for paypal to want a small cut.
You also can not ask your clients to pay as a gift to avoid the fee entirely, for the same reason above. Simply put, don't try to get around paying the fee. It is expected that artists will consider paypal fees in their prices to begin with.
That said, if a client chooses to put in a couple dollars to cover the fee of their own free will, that's okay! And very kind of them. Make a point to thank clients who do this, because they don't have to!
Commissioners: Never pay your artist via the Gift tab in paypal. You may think you're being nice, but not only could you accidentally get them frozen, if the artist ends up not doing your work, you will not be able to get your money back via paypal. You can not open a dispute on a payment that was sent as a gift! If you want to pay the fees for them, consider tacking on another 5 dollars or so, instead. Artists will appreciate it and will remember a client that regularly goes out of their way to do so!
I hope something in this mass of text helps somebody.

How my commission process works
General | Posted 13 years agoI've had a lot of people ask and comment on how I do commissions and my work load and I thought it might be easier to elaborate here instead.
It's actually a pretty simple concept. It's time effective, less burn out on my end and has a better chance of faster turn out rates
How it works:
1. On day 1, I will sketch out 3-5(maybe more) commissions. Sometimes if it's a larger batch of commissions it will carry to day 2.
2. Day 2-3, I will ink in those commissions and if time is allowed, I will loosely fill in colors
3. Day 4-6 In these days, depending on the commission order, I will finish up all flat color works and post them. I then will start shading in what
needs to be shaded. Sometimes this carries over to day 7 when I finish up details and post the rest of the batch.
Normally I can with this method, get 4 flat color commissions done in 3-4 days. Of course this all depends on how much detail are in the pictures,
how much time I have allotted for the days ect.
So yup, that's pretty much it. If you watch my streams or come into them and are curious why I don't just finish the one picture I had just sketched or inked ect, this is the reason.
Ever since I started doing commissions in batches, I've been able to tackle my que a lot faster, more efficiently, and keep on track.
I've also have it set up to where I can take dead lined work as well that doesn't effect my working patterns much at all.
So that's about it really. Would I suggest this work method to other artists? Yes and no. It really only works if you have the mind set for this. You have to be consistent and be able to work well in a focused set of mind.
And yes, I do get days off to my self lol. I don't work 7 days a week all the time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will try and answer them ^^

My streaming rules and guidelines.
General | Posted 13 years agoI feel as though, specially as of late, some people are taking advantage of my niceness in my streams and using it to their advantage and in turn making people uncomfortable, especially me.
Please take the time to understand and read these rules. It will ensure that my streams can become a happy place to visit, and enjoy watching art being drawn.
So here are some stream rules and guidelines I have set in place to ensure that everyone can try and have a pleasant, professional atmosphere in my streams.
Bad topics
*To keep things lively and in a good mind set, please refrain from speaking about politics, religions, and any hot button topics that might make others uncomfortable.
Keep to a minimum
*Please refrain from coming into the streams to complain about how everything to sunday went wrong in your life. Especially every day. I understand people are just that. They have emotions and do have bad days. But I don't like it when my streams become someones personal diary and sympathy party. Excess whining, complaining ect, will be asked to cease. This is to ensure an upbeat and happy attitude in the streams.
RP rules
*Please refrain from RPing stories, scenes, sexual content ect in the stream. A hug or a goofy little line like:"Runs around being silly" is fine. But anything past that is not welcomed and can make others uncomfortable.
Adult notice
*My streams are normally 18+ which means I will usually be drawing adult content. If you are under the age of 18, please do not visit these streams. I can not be held responsable for underaged persons viewing adult content. Also, adult language is common in my streams and I ask that you keep profane language to a minimum if possible.
Course of action
*Any rules being broken by any persons, will be asked to cease what they are doing or to calm down ect. If another violation occurs with blatant disregard, you will be banned.
Uncomfortable?
*If at anytime you are attending my stream and feel uncomfortable with a topic going on ect, please feel free to use the keyword cupcakes, bacon or rainbows.
As silly as this may sound, it is to lighten the mood, and divert others from the topic at hand.
Spam
*Please refrain from spamming links, words, ect. Please ask permission if you are going to be posting 2 or more links in the chat and please warn others if it is SFW or NSFW.
I hate to sound so strict, and tbh a lot of these should be common chat knowledge and etiquette, especially if you are visiting a business/commission stream.
I want to carry the best possible chat and business I can offer to my customers and keeping by these rules will ensure that this goal is met.
Thank you for reading.

My Q&A
General | Posted 14 years ago#
When are you open for commissions? Your page always says CLOSED?
-I keep the closed sign on my page, because I open commissions through journals only at the moment. This way I may regulate how many I have in my que and do not get over filled.
Where can I find your prices, your commission list, or websites and groups?
-Everything from my prices, to TOS/FAQ page, my websites, groups and so on are right on my front page :)
How do I get a commission from you?
-When I open my journals for commissions, I usually take your request via FA note at this current time.
What do you draw and what do you NOT draw?
-You may find a link to my journal stating that list on my front page or here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1603280/
What art program do you use, and where can I get me one?
-My preferred program is Paint Tool Sai and my side program I use for touch ups and details is photo shop.
Here is one site you can get Sai from: http://sai.detstwo.com/sai/ (Please read. It may only be a 30 day trial!)
Where did you learn to draw? And can you teach me?
-I am a self taught artist who has only had the basic art classes through high school. While I like to help others sometimes with their art, I've found I don't have as much time as I'd like to, to properly help someone. My biggest tip is practice, practice, practice. It really does help a ton, even if it's just a small sketch a day.
Can you draw me something for free? Or do you take requests?
-As much as I'd love to, with my limited time I do not offer free artwork.
Do you ever do trades?
Usually only with close friends.
How long does it take you to complete a picture?
-This varies greatly with what you order from me. A sketch can take a few hours depending, while a full detailed picture can take anywhere from 4-5 days also depending.
Do you take comic commissions?
-Usually on rare occasions I will take 1-3 comic page commissions. But again, this is rare and usually only when I am in need of immediate funds.
Comics can take at times 4+ weeks depending on many factors.
Can you do copyrighted characters or fanart for money?
-I do not do fanart nor © characters for monetary gain for legal purposes.
Will you draw in someone else's style?
-Not normally. If I do, it's not on purpose. I do not though intentionally draw someone else's style. I will not copy theirs for commissions.
Will you trace or heavy reference a picture for a commission?
-Absolutely not. I refuse to even come close to those two things for monetary gain. I may heavy reference a picture for personal art but never for a commission.
Please see my TOS for reference's clause
Do you take other forms of payment?
You may find the answer to this question in my TOS :)
Do you RP?
-Publicly and with people I do not know? No. I usually only rp with close friends. I am not open to RPing with anyone or any group at this time. This includes g-xxx rp.
Can I snuggle and love on you?
-Usually by strangers I am off put with this. Snuggling and hugging a stranger is just weird and out of place for me. Please keep in mind I don't mean to be rude if I just reply with random smiley faces. I am just usually not so comfy being snuggled/yiffed/petted/kissed ect by people I am not close to.
Why don't you reply to all your comments you get?
-I am a lurker by nature. I just really have never been a big commentator on a lot of things and it's never meant to be rude or me ignoring anyone. I am very great full for every single comment I receive and while I may not reply, I do read each and every one of them :)
Can I add you to my messengers?
-At this time I only have close friends and family on my messengers.
Can I be your friend?
-I'm usually not one to add a lot of people on the whim. I am more then open to becoming friends with people. I just don't toss around the title friend as easily. (I think I said that right 0.o)
When are you open for commissions? Your page always says CLOSED?

My TOS and FAQ
General | Posted 14 years agoSubject to changes at any given time.
I have the right to refuse a commission without a reason.
Please make sure you read all of the TOS, by paying me for a commission, you accept all terms and conditions stated here.
Last reviewed and updated: 10/28/2025.
How to get in contact with me:
All commission requests are to be sent via either note or anjerial[at]yahoo.com
How the process works:
*Once I have received a note from you I will contact you back via a note to make sure all the details and things are worked out.
*At this time I will expect full payment to be made for the commission.
*Once payment has been received I will confirm it with you.
*Commission ETA depends on how many I have going.
Payment and refunds:
*All payments as of right now are through PayPal and PayPal's invoicing system. It is just a much faster way to get money to me. On RARE occasions I MIGHT take money orders through snail mail. (but this likely will never happen.)
*All payments under $150 must be made in full at the time of ordering. Delayed or late payments taking longer than 24 hours will have to run through me for approval.
*If payments are not received in a timely manner, I will notify you that you have lost the slot and it will go to another person.
*Payments of over $150 can be set up on a payment plan which can be further discussed with me through notes. This is on a case by case basis and needs permission first.
*Refunds:
*Are given on a case by case basis.
I do try my best to make sure everything is alright with your artwork before it is finished.
*In case you might need to cancel on the commission and nothing has been started yet I will give a complete refund.
*If you need a refund AFTER the commission has started you will only get a certain percentage of your refund back depending on how much work has been done,
and whatever work has been done on the commission.
*Lost communication*
*If a commissioner has requested an update process to their commission(i.e need to see the sketch, lines, etc), prompt and clear communication is necessary.
*If I have not received any communication from the commissioner within 2 months, then the commission will be bumped to the bottom of my queue and stay there until communication is established again.
*If communication does not pick up after a year's worth of time from the initial order date of the commission, the commission slot is forfeited, erased from my list, and no refunds will ever be given.
*Working process with more than one person*
*If you are ordering a picture with 1 or more commissioners, please select a "spokesman" to speak on behalf of the group for the commission process.
*This is to ensure that miscommunication does not take place on both ends.
*I can not take responsibility for mistakes on information I was not given at the time of ordering the commission nor can I take responsibility for disagreements with information between the group of commissioners for the commission.
About the Art Process:
*Once info about the commission is received and I start on it, I usually will take minimal changes to the art in the sketching process. Anything that wants to be changed after the sketch there will be a small fee for changes.
*Changes Fee:
For your commission, I will allow 3 small changes to be made to your image in the sketch phase. After the 3rd change, I will charge a $5.00 fee PER change to your image. Any changes made per my fault are free. This means if I make a mistake and you want changes for that mistake, these are free changes.
*If you fail to give me clear reference picture(s) for your character and do not specify what you want in your picture I am not responsible for those changes and they will cost extra. PLEASE give me all suitable references for your commission BEFORE it is completed. Anything you leave out of your references that you spot after the commission is done, will not be fixed unless a fee is paid.
References and Descriptions:
*Notice on pose reference images given! All pose reference images given for a commission will be used as an "idea or light" reference only! I will not copy a pose any longer from any work of art! Only poses acceptable to be used are Free to use stock photos And these will be linked in your submission for reference back purposes! Thank you for your understanding!
*I prefer to have some sort of picture reference for the commissions. If your character is brand new with no pictures of it currently. Please take the time to find color refs, hair refs, clothes refs, etc for the character.
* Please make your descriptions short and to the point. A long-winded book written description only confuse me more.
*I will try and work with you on developing your new character into a picture. But please keep in mind how I see something and how you see it can be two completely different things. My style of art also plays a factor so please keep that in mind.
*If you do have a picture reference, but it's not quite what needs to be in the commission please tell me what is different.
*I do love artist freedoms when it comes to pictures and I'd be happy to do so for you. But if you are dead set on a pose or anything certain please include this information.
Asking about commission status:
*While I strive to make quality art in short amounts of time, things do happen.
*I currently work 40 hour weeks at my "day" job.
*You may find my current commission agenda posted on my profile page.
*If your commission is taking longer than 4 weeks and you haven't seen an update on it, please PM me and ask me about it. Most likely I have a sketch done, or yours is up next in the Que.
Deadlines for art:
*I don't normally do deadlines for art. If I were to take on a deadline there would be an extra fee for pushing the art up above my queue. The fees for rushing above everyone in my queue are as follows:
*$5.00 per person on my queue. If you want to have a rushed commission, please add up everyone on my list and times that by 5. This will be your total for just the push up above the list.
*In the rare case I take a deadlined art I will work closely with you to make sure it gets done on time.
