Ok so I am an artist. I do commissions SOMETIMES...

If ever I am paid up front, I get that shit done in like 2 weeks or less. I have paid for 2 pictures up front from 2 different people and it's been 6 weeks! A month and a half! And I haven't even heard form these artists. I have nothing! Is this how it usually works? Are people really this backed up and if so, why would you take so many commissions? That's ridiculous.

I mean, does anyone else ever think of just asking for their money back for these things? I really don't know if I'm being too demanding or what but I need some other people's experiences I suppose.
