I Hate Hotels
Posted 15 years agoI think I can agree with Francis on that one. I mean, I still have yet to be attacked by a person with SUPAR RABEEZ, but the hatred of hotels runs through my veins like a bounding red current of wage.
I mad?
Me mad.
Basically, what makes me mad is that people have no respect for other people's property. I base this opinion on the past five weeks that I have worked for Days Inn in my hometown. For the past 35 days, I have experienced the following:
Vandalism
Perversion
Gouging
and a whole slew of bodily fluids I'd never have considered 'normal' to stick my hand in.
Specific experiences include:
Finding a room torn to pieces, with pet hair everywhere and coffee grounds worked into the carpet as well as coffee stains on the walls while sheets with dried blood are piled in the corner.
Finding the remains of an 'Alaskan Pipeline' in a freezer, having burst from being frozen solid a second or third time.
Almost losing my job on account of numerous individuals refusing to pay for their rooms because of problems they themselves caused: backed up toilets from them shoving a whole roll (cardboard tube and all) down the pipe, dirty floors from their own muddy boots, dog hair from their own pets, and broken furnishings because they decided to get a little 'frisky' on top of the cheap wood.
Sticking my hand in a vomit-filled bucket for someone's car keys, sticking my hand in a diarrhetic's toilet bowl to clear out a clog, and carrying towel in both arms that REEK of semen and jizz nearly every day.
So what am I saying here?
Next time you go to a hotel, consider the people working there and consider the people who own it.
Be Honest, don't demand a refund if you were willing to spend the night there.
Be kind, leave at least a $1 tip.

As you probably realize by now, I'm a writer, not an artist, so these commissions will not be of the visual variety. Instead, what you will get is a story with whatever characters you desire so long as they don't violate the rules below. If you are a writer as well, I offer my services as an editor for a story you have written and will provide critique.
Rules (The Don't List)

Pretty much anything else is fine.

Posted 15 years agoI do this on IRC and it normally provides a few good ideas of what to write about, so I thought I'd do it on here.
I'm effectively asking anyone and everyone out there for ideas about a story. It can be a kink, a plot point you want explored, or maybe a gender or species you want to have in the story. It can be as specific or as unrefined as you, the audience, want it to be.
The overall hope is that there are enough suggestions by multiple people that a sort of... 'community tale' is created. The story possesses a little bit of something made from everyone who participates, creating a more personal tale.

I'm effectively asking anyone and everyone out there for ideas about a story. It can be a kink, a plot point you want explored, or maybe a gender or species you want to have in the story. It can be as specific or as unrefined as you, the audience, want it to be.

Irish Jigs
Posted 16 years agoNothing makes you feel quite as good as sitting down and relaxing, right?
Well I guess I forgot that simple little pleasure.
I'm sitting here and I want nothing more to do than to simply listen to my Irish jigs. But, then, of course, I get myself worked up.
See, there's this person who stole stuff from my room, a 'friend'. He didn't give it back because he 'lost' it and I was forced to settle for $20 of the $100 he took. Thing is, I knew he had stolen and lost it because I had told him, multiple times, to give it back.
Well, when we settled, I told him I never wanted him to set foot in the dorm again.
Guess who came back. Guess whose presence is marked with glorious fanfare and the shouts of joy that welcome home a hero.
Yeah, my happiness is gone down a little bit at that. I'm not too liked by the other people in the apartment here, probably because I don't follow the leader blindly.
Ah well, in any case, I just wanted to vent. Sorry for dumping that on ya, but I feel better now that that's off my chest.
