Rewind 2019

Now we are in 2020 and I have to say the last decade was quite an adventure. It has its ups and downs, like a roller coaster (but that's how we grow our scales right?)
In the beginning of 2019 I started my new job as a System Specialist (what a fancy name for the stuff I do there o.o). I mainly do test management there. I think it is nice and relaxing. Before I worked as a Server Technician, so I definitely upgraded! Now instead of repairing hardware I get paid for breaking software!
But before my first day I went to my first furry convention, FurSquared! I flew over to Chicago, grabbed my mate and we drove to Milwaukee. The convention was a lot of fun! I remember we ran from panel to panel but also had some time to simply relax as well. That was a wonderful vacation before starting my new job!
Then over the summer my red dragon flew over and we spend nearly 2,5 months together. We also went to another convention in Germany called EAST. It was way smaller than FurSquared, but also even more relaxing. Sadly we couldn't really attend a lot of panel because they were mostly in German and Seledrex still had trouble with that. So instead we spent most of the time wandering around and meeting new people.
Even though the summer was kinda hot I still enjoyed it very much. It was the first time living with my mate for an extended period of time and I loved it very much.
We also went to the Bavaria Fur Dance and got to wiggle around on that dance floor, and yet again met new people! Our next trip was to Italy to meet up with GlowingSpirit. FunFact: She was the artist who did my very first commission. I still have it printed on a big canvas up on my wall. We did a lot of awesome stuff with her and her boyfriend. She put so much effort into everything, even into small things like where to go for food o.o! It definitely was a wonderful time!
Fast forward a few months the next furry convention was at the doorstep, MFF 2019! Once again I flew over to Chicago, grabbed that red rump and moved into a hotel full of fuzzy furries and scalies! Over 11 thousand attendees was sure a lot! But I still enjoyed it very much! Even got to met a bunch of new people there! And yes... I got my golden rump paddled at the Hofbräuhaus Chicago because I challenged Dranslin to a shot. Funny enough the waiter was surprised to have someone from Germany in a German restaurant.
But the best part of this entire decade was right after MFF. I did not flew back to Germany alone. Instead my dragon jumped into that plane as well! But this time not only to visit. This time there was no flight back for him. He now officially moved to Germany! We already live together for multiple weeks and I love it very much of course. Now we only need to move into a bigger place!
Overall this decade was very good I'd say, mostly because of Seledrex of course. With all those conventions I also met a bunch of awesome people and made new friends.
And that's about it!
