He just (and I mean JUST, two days ago just) moved to the Netherlands to escape what all is starting to go down in the US with regard to increasingly transphobic policies and will be working as a freelance artist here on the same visa I have! If you see anything you think others you know would enjoy, please do feel free to pass the link around! Despite all my research pointing to Etsy as a safer bet in terms of discoverability, I cannot look past their recent policy sanctifying genAI plagiarism, so I've chosen to try running my storefront through Ko‑fi instead. Everything is quite tight financially so I will unfortunately have to consider Etsy if this does not work out, but I'd really prefer to sell on Ko‑fi with the current state of events. We'll see how it goes!
Orders placed by noon CET (6 AM EST) each Wednesday are guaranteed to go out that same week. I've fulfilled six orders so far which was really quite exciting - here's to hoping for many more!

Posted a year agoTo give y'all a head's up, I am preparing to open commissions again for the first time in ages! So if you've wanted art from me, keep an eye out. I'll be easing back into it with preference for pieces in the portraits/DnD tokens/icon category.
I will also resume streaming, likely a couple times a week at most (when my fiancée is in the office, since she's a writer and streaming when she's WFH would be distracting!) and I look forward to hanging out with you all again. :]

So after over a year of searching for a more permanent position, it seems I will be freelancing full time again. I'm looking at this as a positive and a sort of homecoming, since I do very much enjoy drawing and painting on a daily basis.
I'm not generally open for new commissions as of yet as I'm wrapping up some previous obligations first. What I am doing however is hosting two small Art Giveaways to help secure audiences on the new social medias, to assure I'll have the engagement I need to get by and sell things when the time comes!
There's one on BlueSky and one on Mastodon. There will be a winner from each, and if you'd like you're welcome to participate in both to boost your chances of winning.

It's Been Awhile

As I also said on a recent upload: It's been quite some time. As this was previously my longest running and most complete gallery, I would like to resume posting to FA and to go back and dig up all the art I've neglected to share here - which may take some time. I won't necessarily catch all of it nor will I post in order, but I'll do my best to grab a nice snapshot of where I've been artistically. c:
In terms of general social media, I've been branching out in light of Twitter's unraveling. I'm still "czgoldedition" on almost every service: IG, Tumblr, Pillowfort, BSky, and a couple instances of Mastodon. If any of you use those on the regular, feel free to hit me up wherever you do! Pillowfort is my clear favorite so far, as it's the only 100% independently run service of the lot and has some nice old Livejournal vibes. I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops over time.
As for my life in general, I moved to the Netherlands at the end of March to be with my fiancée Lisa. I'm still working on Second Star with Dyscordion Entertainment, and am also currently seeking gainful employment in an EU timezone. My noodledog Oz accompanies me almost everywhere, and we regularly travel back and forth between Amsterdam and Arnhem with the tram/train/bus.
I am not currently able to take new commissions. If this changes in the future I will let y'all know! I have a number of artistic obligations from before I left the States that I am working on squaring away but otherwise, when it comes to new work, expect personal art and concept art from me for the time being.

I've nearly cleared my painting queue again, and so it's time to open up for a fresh round of painting commissions! As with last time, I'm open for painted portraits, longer speed paintings, and full paintings. I'm looking to take another 40 hours to start, to be finished by the end of January.

Hey, I'm alive! I post a lot of doodles and WIPs and whatnot to twitter, so if you follow me there, you already know this. Life is being a lot. In the fall I unintentionally worked some overtime at my other job as well. Life is continuing to be a lot, but I do draw everyday, even if it's only for a fraction of an hour. (I wish it were always more, I'm working on getting it that way!)
I finally got around to pulling documentation of traditional art commissions from Anthrocon and Rocky Mountain Fur Con, along with take homes and other odds and ends, off my camera. I will slowly dump that, along with a few doodles I fancy well enough to archive in scraps here, and some comic pages, onto this account over the next couple days. I want things to be caught up here. :)
I'm working on both commissions and my comic much slower than I would like, but now that the last of my traditional art obligations have been squared away, the next commission project slated to be finished in the big Graceland piece. Ted pages are coming variably one or two pages a month. Once I'm caught up on commissions, I'll set up a patreon and push to make it four pages a month, and then ideally all the way to eight.
At any rate, my apologizes for the flood, though I hope it amuses you. :3
Commissions are currently: CLOSED.
Work is not done on a commission until AFTER payment is received! Queue spots are only set in stone when payment is received, be it full payment or some form of deposit. Unpaid slots can be added to the queue, but when they are paid jump above any other unpaid slots.

Work is not done on a commission until AFTER payment is received! Queue spots are only set in stone when payment is received, be it full payment or some form of deposit. Unpaid slots can be added to the queue, but when they are paid jump above any other unpaid slots.

My life continues to be rather preoccupying in that my partner and I both traveled across the country to pick up an unexpected car (long story) and got married.
I'm attempting to work on art whenever possible, both Ted the Demon and owed commissions. Crossing my fingers that things are going to be at least somewhat calm for the duration of June, so I can accomplish things at a better pace! I'm still working nearly full time as a barista as well, so it's also a matter of guarding my "days off" more aggressively to preserve them as art work days. That and my evenings. My preciousss art time.
A couple folks have asked, so I also wanted to reiterate that I am still CLOSED for commissions. I won't accept any new ones until I have cleared every single preexisting item off of my work queue. :) Thanks everyone!

Dealer'd at Fur the 'More this past weekend, sharing a table with K and Echo. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to acquire arts from us or say hello! <3
I'm back home and busy as ever with life and multiple job things, but currently picking away at my owed arts and trying to sneak in time to finish the next page of Ted. As ever, if you're wondering about the status of something, feel free to check my queue. I did not accept any take-home work at Fur the 'More, only doing what I could tackle at the con itself, as I'm still all about conquering every last item on there before I take on any new projects.
My other two art-selling conventions for this year will be Anthrocon and Rocky Mountain Fur Con, so perhaps I will see some of you there. :)
