I’ve decided that I want to dedicate myself to my creative works. It’s what’s most important to me. I’ve been very inspired by some folks lately, so you will likely see a lot more from me more quickly in the future. I spent an entire morning rewriting and finalizing the next chapter of Ending Up Behind, and I’m very proud of that. I am going to try to do as many as I can as quickly as I can, but I am dedicating my Sundays to writing now.

I stagnated on this a bit; I am sorry to say. Ending up Behind caught my attention, but it was mostly a matter of trying to get the ball rolling again. I have a burning need to see what’s going to happen to these characters next.

Really glad to have Part 2 of Ending Up Behind completed, edited and published. I feel like it might still have a rough edge or two, but it's even better than part 1. I think I'm continuing to grow as an author.
I'm currently traveling and couldn't proceed on all the other projects that distract me because I stupidly left the files behind, so I hunkered down and spent a day on Ending Up Behind. It has six whole chapters, but I took some advice from a friend and broke them up so that they're not all the same length and intensity.
I'm not really into weighing in on the recent FA drama, but sufficed to say it ruffled that enough of my fellow ABDL folks, I'm probably expanding to other sites soon. I'm not going to fully leave FA, but I'm also not going to hold back on my content for them. If I were to be banned, I would just move on. I suggest you follow me on other sites, which I will link in a future journal post.

First and foremost, I want to remind any readers that Being Neighborly is a side-project that doesn't take much effort on my part to put out, as compared to my longer stories like Dorm Domain and Ending Up Behind. Those two are the main projects I'm working on. There's a number of side things I do for funsies to blow off steam that aren't about complex and deeper character interactions.

I've got Chapter 3 rough drafted and it's basically waiting for me to switch to it from Ending Up Behind.
Ending Up Behind
I'm working on this series, but I realized that when I got to the end of Chapter 5, there wasn't really any big payoff like there was in the previous Part. While it's got some fun things in it, I decided it's going to be way more satisfying to release the next four chapters together. Sorry to make people wait while I struggle with it, but I really need to get it right to be satisfied myself.
More excitingly, I got in touch with an old passing acquaintance, MoodyFerret/ SeekingRelease, who has agreed to do the cover art for Ending Up Behind! This is very exciting, as I'm planning on having both e-text and physical copies available when the work is published. The soonest it will happen is some months away, though, due to availability and soforth. She's not properly open for commissions right now, so I feel pretty honored to be slipped in there.

I've put out the first chapter of this story today because it really didn't need much work and I'm frustrated I haven't finished the next part of Ending Up Behind. I just wanted to get something out. I know it's not what you're all waiting for, but Ending Up Behind is taking me awhile to get right. I also compressed the originally 7 chapters to 4. Same length and content, but I wanted to release it in a certain rhythm. I also want to shout out an honorable mention to an old vore story called "Mr. Marino" by the venerable vore author Sean. I liked the idea of a neighbor visiting a few times and the super casual nature of it, but I wanted to push the idea a bit further. You may currently find it here:

I've cranked out a bunch of stuff on the side just to give me my own stuff to enjoy in private, but it's all way too rough to release just yet. I got my hands on my proofreading tools again after a month hiatus, but I have several projects outside of this account that draw my attention. I really love writing here, though, so I'm making the time. This last update came at the cost of a weekend night of sleep, but I think it was worth it.
I'm worried it looks like I'm putting too much effort into new projects and leaving the old to molder. It's true that it's taking me a lot longer than I'd like, but writing rough drafts is something I do in a sex-crazed fervor. One chapter or short story takes about 30 minutes to rough draft, but editing that chapter for publishing takes me around 6-20 hours spread out over many days, depending. I often write these rough drafts just to satisfy a different type of need. I'm promising myself not to take on more than two serious novel-like series, so they can be completed. I might allow myself a sloppier side-series (like Being Neighborly) or a short story (like Padding Out) to blow off steam, but I'm not going to obsess over perfection. Those will only get story edits as I re-read them for my own pleasure, then a good grammar and spelling check that should take another 30 minutes.
To use a cheese metaphor, right now Dorm Dominion and Ending Up Behind are my cage-aged goudas. Anything else that gets posted is just cream I've scraped off the top of the milk I use to make them. Heh.

I'm glad to finally have finished Chapter 2. I revised it so many times, streamlining and touching it up until I felt it was perfect. This had to be something like 30 hours of work. I'm really glad to have this one done. I'm alternating this series with Ending Up Behind right now, so there will be a wait for Chapter 3, but I think I'm improving my writing overall. Hopefully this will mean fewer revisions will be needed in the future, resulting in more posting.
I'm going to post this journal, then immediately post this chapter.

I still have the next few chapters planned out in my head and only have Chapter 5 rough-drafted. I can finally work on this again as I've finished DR's second chapter. The next chapter is a little tamer, but it's a direct sequel that picks up right where the last ended. I feel like if you read the previous chapters and then immediately read this one, the momentum will hold. I'm very excited to get back to this series, and it's become my most-faved story so far, and I got ko-fi for it.

News:
I've cranked out a bunch of stuff on the side just to give me my own stuff to enjoy in private, but it's all way too rough to release just yet. I got my hands on my proofreading tools again after a month hiatus, but I have several projects outside of this account that draw my attention. I really love writing here, though, so I'm making the time. This last update came at the cost of a weekend night of sleep, but I think it was worth it.
I'm worried it looks like I'm putting too much effort into new projects and leaving the old to molder. It's true that it's taking me a lot longer than I'd like, but writing rough drafts is something I do in a sex-crazed fervor. One chapter or short story takes about 30 minutes to rough draft, but editing that chapter for publishing takes me around 6-20 hours spread out over many days, depending. I often write these rough drafts just to satisfy a different type of need. I'm promising myself not to take on more than two serious novel-like series, so they can be completed. I might allow myself a sloppier side-series (like Being Neighborly) or a short story (like Padding Out) to blow off steam, but I'm not going to obsess over perfection. Those will only get story edits as I re-read them for my own pleasure, then a good grammar and spelling check that should take another 30 minutes.
To use a cheese metaphor, right now Dorm Dominion and Ending Up Behind are my cage-aged goudas. Anything else that gets posted is just cream I've scraped off the top of the milk I use to make them. Heh.
Dorm Domain
I'm glad to finally have finished Chapter 2. I revised it so many times, streamlining and touching it up until I felt it was perfect. This had to be something like 30 hours of work. I'm really glad to have this one done. I'm alternating this series with Ending Up Behind right now, so there will be a wait for Chapter 3, but I think I'm improving my writing overall. Hopefully this will mean fewer revisions will be needed in the future, resulting in more posting.
I'm going to post this journal, then immediately post this chapter.
Ending Up Behind
I still have the next few chapters planned out in my head and only have Chapter 5 rough-drafted. I can finally work on this again as I've finished DR's second chapter. The next chapter is a little tamer, but it's a direct sequel that picks up right where the last ended. I feel like if you read the previous chapters and then immediately read this one, the momentum will hold. I'm very excited to get back to this series, and it's become my most-faved story so far, and I got ko-fi for it.

I may squeeze in some editing of this. It's pure indulgence for me, being otter-on-mouse. Then again, all my work is very self-indulgent.

Dorm Domain
I've been a little low on cash so I haven't renewed my subscription to my grammar/readability tools, which is what's holding me back right now. They really help me a lot and give me the ability to provide people with estimated reading times, as well as keeping me in-check as far as style goes. I'm also about to have a house guest out for awhile and I have a commission unrelated to my work here that I need to finish, which will net me a good chunk of funds. Hopefully I can get to it some time in the next couple of weeks, which will let me continue my other projects as well.

I've been busy with some other projects with friends, work, and I had a tummy bug. I had an issue with a depressive attack a couple of weeks ago. I'm fine, but I do struggle with ADD, anxiety, depression and possibly autism. I take medication to treat these conditions, but they do hold me back at times.
I just completed a second draft of Dorm Dominion Chapter 2. It needs grammar, spelling and readability checks. I expect it will be out soon.
I have decided to continue Ending Up Behind. Thank you for the positive response.
I have other projects that I work on occasionally on the side, as you may note here. These are to keep me going and my mind fresh, and to give me something else to fap to. I dislike having projects left unfinished, however, so my top priority is Dorm Dominion, then Ending Up Behind. You may sometimes see a one-shot pop up, just to give me a break from the main body of the work.
