Unrelated, I'm experiencing a few frustrating difficulties on the side.
I'm not going to go into details, not because it's personal or anything but just because I don't feel like it's necessary to share. Regardless, I am feeling a bit frazzled and frustrated in that regard.
I'm doing what I can, though.

On the plus side, I got back on my medication finally last month. Again, not going to go into detail, but it has helped immensely with some very serious struggles I had been going through.
Things are a little frustrating right now in some regards, but in other ways things are looking up. Just gotta keep taking life one step at a time.

I underestimated how exhausted I've been lately, and how long my current queue would take.

Bear in mind: I will be significantly more slow than I normally am, but I WILL be working on it.

Here's a quick summary of what a quick ref is:
Visual-only reference of a single character, usually just two fullbody images (front and back)
but may be accompanied by smaller images to help highlight important details that could be missed on the full-body images.
There is NO shading on the main images, as shading adds visual confusion on a ref sheet and generally makes the lives of commissioned artists harder.

Quick Ref prices start at 65$.
This will get you either two full body drawings, or one fullbody and two small detail shots.
More can be added for an extra fee, depending on what is being asked for.

Hey, sorry for the silence and complete lack of drawings, I started a retail job for the first time in my life and it's been taking my everything to learn all I gotta learn. I'm also on closing shifts, and I start really early in the afternoon so I can cram as much training as I can, so I have been EXHAUSTED. I only get a few hours to myself before work because of how hard I pass out, but once I get used to everything, I'll be able to start balancing my schedule again and hopefully finding the energy to hang out with folks properly again.

I've just been thinking about social stuff a bunch and things are really weird, but mostly I'm just really happy to have finally found a place of stability.
Like actual, real stability.

There are still parts of my life that still have a ways to go before I can say I'm TRULY content, but looking back and seeing how far I've come really puts into perspective of how happy I finally am.
Even when I forget or struggle to take my medicine, I haven't been spiraling as much as I have in the past because everything just feels so much more right... Which is weird, because I'm still dealing with my mom's death, I'm still dealing with pretty severe depression and anxiety, but being in a spot where I feel like I do actually have a future has really helped. Being somewhere where the friends I have can all talk things out like adults also really helps.

I still have meltdowns, flashbacks, and nightmares involving the trauma of losing my mom, but this year has been surprisingly kind to me in that regard. All of last year I was struggling to even crawl because of the heavy grief and trauma, but it feels like I can finally stand up. Which is good, because mom wouldn't want my life to stop like that. All she ever wanted was for me n my brother and our dad to be happy and to live our best lives. So, she may be gone, and it may hurt and still feel very very unfair, but she's always gonna be in our hearts.

And maybe this is stupid, but despite not being religious, we are a very spiritual family, so we like to think she's somewhere watching over and silently guiding us when we need it.
That's just us, though.

idk. I'm just glad I'm out of the misery of 2018.
