So, my ex finally went and unadded/blocked me from everything. Dunno what prompted it. She basically cost me $400 and left me dead in the water, yet... I don't feel anything bad about it.

When we broke up, I was severely depressed, I'll admit. I handled it poorly and had trouble coping. However, after these few months, I'm back on my feet, and I am legitimately happy and feeling employed. On the other hand, she's been nothing but miserable these past few days... Quite a cruel turn of fate.

In hindsight she wasn't a wise choice. I don't want to play any class wars here, but while we were both interested in similar topics, there was a world of economic and intellectual difference between us, not to mention the distance.

My life is not to be inhibited or determined by any foreign element. My happiness is my own, and no one else is going to truly make me sustainably happy (or sad). Someday, maybe she'll grow up to realize that and, I hope, be able to find peace and come to terms with herself.

School's pretty much done for me now. Almost all end-of-semester assignments are in, finals are right around the corner.

Winter is going to involve more Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Revelations (PC version is running great, props Ubi, despite what you say about PC gamers you still have pride in your work), Batman Arkham City, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And then there's more flash and more artwork inbound...

It's good to keep myself busy. Takes my mind off things.

Anyway, here's something I wanna throw out there, as a little offer I wanna start doing random shorts, like the "Derpy has something to say", for instance, instead of just loops. So, if you have any ideas on something that could be animated or even ponified, just mention it to me and I'll see about animating it. :3 Even if it's a joke that you wrote and want to voice.

Additionally, I want to eventually start working on something more original with flash, but I have no idea where to start. Til then I'll keep doing what I'm doing, although I do have plans for a major flash. I'll upload spoiler pics later on, it is MLP related but will be much more awesome. (As a hint, what game just came out today?)

Does anyone know of any free video editors that can simply speed up a video clip? Windows Movie Maker used to be able to do that, but come the Windows 7 version Microsoft decided to eat another cock and thought that a simple feature such as speed control was too complicated for the common ilk.

I just want to speed up some recordings, from an hour long to about 10 minutes.

I tried AVS video editor, and the thing freezed up/buggered out every 15 seconds, but it was the only free one I could find that could do what I wanted. Lo and behold though, it places a bigass watermark in the dead center of every video. (Would be really fucking wonderful if this thought had been revealed to me before I began wrestling with it for an hour.)

Youtube video editor can speed up clips, but at the same time you can only have them a maximum of 5 minutes in length, and I have no way to speed it up any faster to meet that time constraint.

Anyone think it's an expression of an inflated ego to not only draw your character, but draw him or her 50 times and only him or her?

The characters will be full color with cell shading + overlay lighting for detail on a fractal or simple background.

Restrictions:
-Has to have some kind of movement. I can take care of this if you're unsure
-I need a reference or image to go from for your character, even a simple one. Description alone won't be enough.
-Clothing, armor, equipment: generally this is part of what makes these cool, so if you have something specific in mind, feel free to explain it-- but don't go overboard. Keep the details to a minimum, if you can. (I like designing/creating armor to be honest. <_< >_>)
-Background is simplistic. If you have a request to the style (ie, clouds, lightning-ish, or magnifying the pose), just say so, but no detailed backgrounds (unless you provide one).
-If you have a color scheme in mind, just tell me. Else I'll go with what seems natural.

Okay, no art lately because I've been working my balls off at the movie theater due to the Transformers release. It's been busy as hell, and I've been working several days in a row, separating me from my computer. x-x

My old one is small and doesn't have room for more RAM, the video card is feeling dated, the processor is dated (i5 dual core, 2.5 ghz), and its 250 GB HD is nearly always full, even after deleting files. If I'm not distracted. Steam has had some nice sales... the original 2 FEAR games + all DLC for 10 bucks? F.E.A.R. 1 came out in 2005 yet its combat seems pretty far ahead of it's time. I'm loving it: I haven't had this much fun with a shooter since Half Life.

Plus, Overlord was on sale as well. Quite fun.

In other news, I am moved in to my new home. Got all the furniture (namely a bed and desk) for my room. Yay. In video game news, Terraria is an amazingly addictive game. Think Minecraft in 2D, with a simplified crafting system and a wildly more complicated RPG system. No real penalty for dying, just lose some money, so you can go as deep as possible til you die. NPCs also move into your home to sell you stuff as you progress through the game, there's bosses to fight, and so on. It's not as focused on building homes as it is exploring each region and collecting cool gear (like grappling hooks and firearms). Very fun.

And it's just a little more than a week til I'll get to see my mate. :3 I'm so excited.

So I've found a group on here that I'm interested in simply because it pertains to my most common drawing theme.

(That being said I will admit I am a bit cliche when it comes to boobs <.<) Anyway, there's a gallery dedicated to female artwork and I'd like to contribute. So, here's where you come in:

I'm going to draw up a lot of line and traditional artwork of any female characters. As their guidelines say, it has to be artistic nude. So, if anyone's interested in some simple artwork/lineart of their character(s) or even have a request of one of mine, just post them here. :3 The artwork will be drawn for both you and  projectgirllove, and submitted to their gallery as well.

And as a few guidelines:
-no porn, though nudity isn't porn. (I don't draw porn (usually) anyway)
-I like to try and be tasteful and censor things subtlety, such as: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5186139/ If you have any pose ideas, don't be afraid to suggest them, else I'll just go with what seems natural.
-The drawings will be lineart at least, and inked in grayscale at most.

One thing commission-wise I want to make clear... I'm not exactly familiar or comfortable with shipping yet. Anyway, not really anything to talk about. :I Portal 2 comes out soon, which is exciting. College is starting to wind down, got the last of my exams finished, so all that's left is finals next month. I can't wait for summer, especially since I'm going to see someone very special. :3 And on top of that I'll be moving out of my house after this semester.
