Sooo I don't know how many of you know this but I'm a dog groomer for corporate...
Buuuut I'm leaving soon and starting up my own salon!~
Which means I'll have consistent hours and consistent days off!
That also means I should be able to start drawing again since I won't be so drained all the time
I'm really excited for this and I have so many clients following me that I shouldn't have to worry
I also have all of you here that I've been missing so, so much!!

Unfortunately I've decided it's time I close up shop.
The whole "if you make 600 in a year you have to report it" thing sucks
Just another thing I can be mad about resellers at for by making my life even harder lol
I'm considering accepting gift cards as a form of payment
Like Amazon, Steam, Ebay, Etsy, etc.
Just sucks cause I used my PP as my fun money to order commissions and eat out.
This doesn't mean I won't be posting art
It'll just be geared to more personal stuff instead of ychs
This makes me hella sad though c,:

I found a part time job but the days won't be the same every week
So unfortunately I won't know what my drawing schedule will be until I get my work sched for that time frame
But that also means that ychs and other art will slow down again and I'll only be taking a few coms at a time
Pretty happy though, it pays really well and I've been wanting something part time
Also why I couldn't get any coms done the last couple days because my anxiety was so bad
I was on the verge of tears and a panic attack for three days straight because I had to do two different interviews
And I'm not about to do art while in that state ahh
Thanks so much for your patience~
I'm going to get all owed art done before Monday!

I ended up getting sick this week :c
I'm not sure from what but I haven't even been wanting to get out of bed
But since I worked on two of my scheduled days off, I was able to get through a good portion of my queue
But I'll pick back up either on the weekend again or on Monday

Oof it's been a bit
Work is still kicking my butt
I'm not posting much here anymore but I'm still doing art

Currently looking at jeeps, my dream is to have a fancy new Rubicon, but I just want an old baby to take to the mountains right now.
Got two precious puppos which are my world, looking at kittens at the moment too.
Also apartment hunting, but that will come after the car payments are done if there are any. Browsing is good though.
I have amazing people around me that are showing me what true love and friendship really is. It's funny how you never really know how badly you've been treated until the right ones come along.
That's just my world right now.

Something I never really planned on doing but lately I've really been wanting one.
And surprisingly it's not of Poppy, which I'll have to get her done eventually too.
I paid for it all at once and got an amazing price on it.
Plus it's someone I've followed for a very long time and I will always adore her work.
He'll be here sometime between September/October
Maybe I'll actually have a Halloween costume this year lmfaoo
I'm currently in the process of making a kigu of Trasher
And if that goes well I'd love to start taking them on as commissions
I'm so excited to see my boy be done in person and I can't waaaiiit
So incredibly lucky I'll have him done in time for a con and other things cx

He was put down this morning
It was an extremely hard day at work, I would get hit in waves
But I can rest easy knowing that the vet, who saved him from being put down for no reason from his old owners, said that it was just his time and not premature in any way
It's a vet we can trust, and to be honest there aren't a lot around like that anymore
My boss gave me tomorrow off, which was just too nice of her
It's hit my entire family pretty hard, we would of had him a year in May
I'm grateful for the time we had with him, he was such an amazing dog
Now hes a puppy again and able to run to his hearts content
If anyone knows an artist who does animal portrait commissions please link me to them
I'd love to get one made for my dad

Might have a small delay on work
Our old dog isn't doing well and the possibility of having to put him down is becoming greater and greater.
Medication hasn't been helping and he struggles to get up if he can even achieve it in the first place.
It's not for sure yet, the vet might have something else we can try.
But the outcome isn't looking all that great to me.
If you guys could be a little patient with me I'd really, really appreciate it.

We finally got enough snow here that I don't have to go in to work!
And I'm getting more than where my work is lmfao.
I might do a few doodles later today.
I just got a cute new character and want to give him some love.
Not sure if I'll post it here and/or on my other account too.
Only downside is that I probably won't make it to my art group.
I haven't been there in like three weeks because I've been too busy.

I need to give myself another break and figure out a good schedule for this.
I want to keep drawing but even taking only six commissions stresses me out now.
Especially since I only give myself two days a week to work on them.
And then on those two days I like to go out and do stuff or just relax.
So I'm gonna finish up the two I have this weekend(hopefully) and then just do personal art.
I have some characters who need love.
I won't be posting them on this account though.

I'm sorry I couldn't get a free base out this year
But I do have one in mind for next Christmas if I'm still around~
This has been one of the best years for me
I couldn't have asked for anything to go any different
Everyone in my life has made this year into something special
Even the ones who aren't here with me anymore
I wouldn't be who I am today without any of you

Sticking around despite me not being as active anymore

Work is craaaazy guys
We have 25 dogs coming in tomorrow 😂
Back to working five days because someone got themselves fired lmfao
Art has been the last thing on my mind unfortunately
I've really been wanting to doodle
But I'm just too tired when I get home and want my bed and favorite
Plus it's been super cold and I gotta steal his body heat
That's super important, part of my daily tasks now
But that's what I've been up to
Once the shop hires someone new I'll try and get some new ychs out
Or at least some personal art done

After drawing for a good 8+ years I'm finally going to take a break.
And not just a week long one again lmfao
A real one.
I'm going to keep commissions open.
So feel free to note me for custom pieces.
But I won't be producing ychs for the time being.
Only reason why I'm doing this is because I'm finally comfortable financially.
I don't need this to be my full time job anymore.
It's a huge relief but also kind of sad at the same time for me.
I love working for you guys, I love all my clients.
But it's nice not having to worry about money for once.
Seriously
Thank you all for your support over the years.
It has meant so much to me. More than you could imagine.

One of my favorite people on here has passed away.
I was fortunate to work with him on many occasions.
And let me tell you what, he was one of the sweetest and chillest people I have ever met.
I may not have known him well but my heart is broken.
Trying so hard to hold back tears.
I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends are feeling right now.
Rest easy up there buddy. You were an all around amazing person.
