Hey! My hard drive failed and I decided to take the opportunity to get a new computer, especially since this one is super long in the tooth by now and is actively deteriorating.

To recoup the cost of the new laptop(~$1.4k) I'll be doing sketch commissions till I get my new computer. I can't get progress on my digital commissions so sketch comms seem like my best option.

I'm pretty damn excited for my birthday. There's nothing in particular that I 'unlock' so to speak like on my 18th or 21st, but I'm looking forward to it regardless.

Coming back here after learning that FurryLife is considering banning anthro pokemon because standard pokemon are 'feral adjacent' in the exact same way that anthro characters are in general. As viscerally displeasing as it is to be back on a site that allows zoophilia, I guess I don't really have a better option. Things are back to the way they were before.

2018 was a wild year and honestly, while it was an extremely bumpy ride, I have high hopes for this year. Let's make it a good one, alright?

It's my birthday today aaaaaa!

Don't worry, don't worry. This isn't some vent or callout or anything, it's just a thing with some important info going forward that I think you all should know. Skim or pick it apart, here's some stuff.

First off, after making https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29175471/ my copy of SAI decided to stop working entirely. No troubleshooting helped, reinstalls didn't work, nothing functioned of it at all. It's been with me a while, but it's finally time to put SAI to rest and move on to something else. For now, I'll be using Medibang and seeing how I like that! It feels good right now, but I have yet to really put pen to tablet too much with it yet. Expect art to look a bit janky for a bit.

Another important thing is that I'm going to try to expand my horizons with art as a while. I'll still keep with my normal style but painting will absolutely be something I'll expand upon, get nice and familiar with it. I feel like it's a direct improvement over my previous work and I'll try to do more like it! Just expect more variety with my art and to see me branching out a bit more.

Ideally, I'll be able to start taking commissions soon! Please tell me how much you think my art would be worth. The pic linked earlier took ~4 hours to do, and that's my first attempt. It might be hard to gauge right now, but please let me know what you think it should be worth and what people would pay for my work!

And finally to the thing I mentioned in the title, my birthday! It's november 19, so it might be a bit early to say it's coming up, but I'm excited for it!
