So I've had a long and very artless year. I've drawn a few things here and there but pretty much all of 2016, I've not done anything worth posting. It's... Kind of sad really. There are so many great artists out there, and I've always aspired to be one of them. But between a lack of time and motivation, it's just never happened. I have the talent, and the skill isn't far off with some good practice but its just so hard, yeah? Especially when you work a job in a technical field that just saps all your mental power for the day.

Well, I no longer have that problem. Painting a bad thing in a positive light, I don't have a job anymore....and as much as it hurts to lose a job that I've truely loved, I think this change is for the better. I can feel opportunity knocking. I have time, time to make a change and do the things I've always wanted.

So my hope for the new year is that things change, and I can grow my portfolio, maybe earn the few watchers I have. I hope to have art to show you all soon, and make a change where 2017 is the year I truely become an artist.
