Okay everyone! its that time again , but this time I have some slight changes or goals i wanted to shout out for these changes. the biggest change this month is that im trying to double up on Art Slaves per week. as long as full up anyway. if not ill try to do stream commissions as well.

The reason for this is im trying to visit Family for thanksgiving and they want me there for at least a week. On top of that , immediately after i get back from them , I have Midwest Furfest to attend. that last week of November and the first week of December I wont be able to do work. So im trying to double what i make...or try to anyway. So that leaves me with 3 weeks to work with...AWRRGHH!

trying to make a good $2400 this month just to cover everything *sweat drops*

Not in the “I’ve lost my love of drawing” or whatever. More so that i believe I kinda don’t draw for myself anymore. I really haven’t created new characters. I haven’t really expanded on the ones i already have. I’m not creating progress with my own properties. I REALLY enjoy drawing for people the things that they enjoy. For me, seeing someone get joy or appreciate what i did for them brings me a lot of happiness. not to mention its kinda been my livelihood for pretty much 5 long years.

I remember back when i was in Home-school and High school how I would just draw! whatever came to mind. Be it sonic stuff or fan stuff of artists I really enjoyed at the time and then trying to make my own things. I really had no one to show them too at the time either. My family never really cared about art except for my brother. Cept when he would draw, he would draw Marvel Comics type stuff and Dragon Ball Z and his own Wu-Tang related materials. He was really good at it too. So like...I never showed him my art. It was far better than mine and on top of that , it was cartoon animals and Sonic stuff. We weren’t really close either so...I feared maybe id get made fun of. Also because I’m the youngest of my Siblings...its kinda easy pickings. I was alone in my creations for a long time, and that was perfectly fine to make myself happy with em.

Then of course i found the FA community and things kinda took off from there. I finally got to show people my stuff! it was pretty crazy...and they liked it. I met a bunch of new people. Artists and friends blew my mind and I got such joy drawing things for them and then they encouraged me to do commissions. Its great! Meeting people and finding out their particular tastes and likes and then BAM! Here have this! Cause I know you like it. So...I just got in the habit of drawing things for people.

So now, when I’m drawing, I just get blanks....I don’t know what to do. I think my brain wants me to concentrate on others. “Hey! what are you doing? you should be working” or “how about drawing someone you like?” or when I’m talking with friends, we are discussing ideas with character interaction and i figure “yeah i might draw that” and then they ask me “what would you like?” and i can legit come up with nothing. I never know what to ask for myself. I cant think of anything for myself cause i guess Ive just gotten out of the habit of thinking of my own creations. And when I’ve drawn gift art...i feel happy that they enjoyed it but then afterwards...I feel kinda bad...kinda empty from something. I...don’t know. It constantly makes me think of “Why can’t i ever think of things?”
Then I look at my art...and would like to show people...and then I realize 80% of my pieces have other people in them, or its related it. gift art... I don’t think that’s bad cause I’ve enjoyed doing ALL of them.

I’ve been having thoughts of maybe quitting the commission scene and trying to find something else to take away from the art scene to maybe see if it is a spark thing. Find a new path for a while. its why i made a Patreon in hopes of doing my own stuff more. For the most part its doing something! definitely making me finish more things. I just don’t know exactly how I feel or how to go about it. So...yeah. Felt like maybe i should say it out and see what people think maybe?

So yess...Ive made the decision to finally make a Patreon. Its been on my mind for weeks and I figured why not give it a shot.

For the most part, right now my Patreon is bit of a glorified tip jar with some fun benefits! basically you can see my otherwise unfinished scraps and even vote on some of the scraps you see to get finished! Its just a little thank you for those that want to help support me.

Hey Everyone! Sorry for my lack of presence this week. Some of ya may be following my twitter and saw me bitching and moaning about getting stranded in Texas for like 2 days cause of the weather, and the Greyhound bus service was throwing us through loops just to get home. Anyway, We made it back in somewhat of a whole piece and I took the rest of the week to regain my sanity. With that said, TFF was a great con to attend. Thanks to  dawmino and  aglo for being such awesome folk to let us bug them and room with them. also got to meet plenty of other awesome people, game , drink and buy some awesome PORN! i look forward to the next TFF....just not traveling by bus...NO!

So this coming week starts the beginning of a new month, this means art slaves are NOW open again. But thanks to the stress from the emergency funding we had to put into staying in Texas , the first week will be what I owe people. perhaps ill get it done as fast as possible so i can do normal stream commissions. will try! so we will see. With the new year, I believe I should switch things up a bit. Ive done the whole Art Slave thing for over a year and have had great time with it. Though thanks to particular feedback , I think its time to change it up a bit. Biggest part of the feedback I got was people unable to keep a secured spot in the auction and of course...auctions going out of their comfort zone. So in order to correct this, Ive decided to kill the auction route and make Art Slave like a bigger commission slot with the same benefits of the Art Slave.

Anthrocon , for me , is both a great con and simultaneously the worst con. Now before anyone jumps on me about the worst con part, its not the worst is the sense that everything is just horrible or the staff are bad and the hotels are shitty. No no. Its basically personal. The con is always great simply for its sheer scope and how big it is. Sooo many people to meet and see. Soo many things you can do and places to check out. its pretty amazing to see…when there isnt a shit ton construction in the way. I got to meet so many people i havent seen for the longest time and i got to chat and chill with some of them.

Though on the other side of the coin, whenever I go to Anthrocon , I feel like its the most gruesome tug of war ever! I hate this! granted its mainly my fault for never really having control of a room of my own. Basically with the amount of people you meet and see….you want to chill with them. Everyone one (mostly anyway) has their own little group and they want YOU to join them…but you can’t. It makes me feel horrible when I cant just be like “hell yeah ill chill with you” when someone else is pull me in the other direction. and it happens constantly. I love meeting people and getting to know them. Its just harder at anthrocon than anywhere else it seems. I get frustrated when that happens…and it happens a lot.

All bids must be in even dollars (ie: $80, $93). Penny bids (ie: $80.12, $93.67) will be ignored. This is to help keep things clean and organized for everyone.
If bidding reaches $150, the art slave time will extend to 4 hours. If it reaches $250, the art slave time will extend to 5 hours. And for every 100 after that will be extended by another hour. max of 8 hours.
Bidding will run from today, October 11th to the 14th at 9PM (EST). (9:01PM officially closed)

Drawings
The drawings will be streamed publicly to help you get exactly what you want.
I will not draw the big three. Scat, watersports, cub.
I also have the right to refuse certain ideas that I may feel uncomfortable with.
Once the time is up, if im in the middle of a drawing, I am not obliged to finish the drawing. (Though I might if I really like it!)

How Time Works (what counts as time spent)
I will find a timer to put on display so we know how much time has passed.
Any breaks will not count for time spent and will be paused.
Timer will start when I start drawing an image. Any research for extra subjects or changes will count for time
If I don't finish all of my time in one session or need to stop for whatever reason, the remainder is still owed and can be finished at a later date.
