Posted 12 years ago I'm auctioning up myself to be an art slave to the highest bidder again!If you don't know what the Art Slave auction is, I am offering up my time and services for a set amount of time. For the duration of that time, You can ask me for whatever kind of drawing you want. Sketch , Ink , Color , multiple character , single, character sheet...whatever! So how much time am I offering exactly?
The starting time limit is 3 hours. However depending on how high the bidding goes, The time will increase an hour at a time.
Now that may not seem like a lot of time. So I'll give you a rough estimate on time it takes to complete drawings with me.
Sketches - 30 mins - 1 hour or so (depending on complexity)
Inks - 1 1/2 hour - 2hours (also varies on complexity)
colors - I have no clue XD
The point is, how you use your time with me will result in how much you get. For example, you can ask for badges, bust shots, or little cute things that are quick and simple and just whatever. I will do my best try and fulfill the requests. So lets get to the rules of this thing!

Posted 12 years agoThis is just a little update on the rules that I want to stress so people are more confident in their bidding. I seemed to have forgotten about the rules if you are the winner. Just to assure those that bid that there STILL might be a chance you could win if people fail to provide.
To the winner

If you do not have the funds, the second highest bidder will be deemed the winner (and if THEY don't have the funds, it keeps following the ladder).

Stream commission proposition!
Posted 12 years agoOkay folks. here's a run down of an idea I had and want to see if folks will be open to it. I've noticed that a lot of folks come into my streams wanting to catch a spot for a sketch or drawing and what not and never making it in time because first come first serve fills up pretty quickly. I was thinking that to those who are interested , would be down for a more planned approach.
The idea I have is for next week that every day of the week I will have designated commissioners. Basically I take those who want a stream commission from me now (when I post a journal for the schedule) and depending on how many I have and what types of commissions they are (sketch or ink) I will put down on what day of the week I will do them in stream so the commissioner can attend.
For example: Say I have 5 sketches and two inks (the names I use are just for show and not actually claimed spots...yet anyway...and are repeat customers)
Monday :
pzowned sketch , 
milkjunkie sketch , blah blah Sketch
Tuesday:
gorrister ink, 
strawkitty ink
Wednesday : the two remaining sketches
And the streams will be aim to try and cater to the times for the commissioner. but I want to start a regular stream time from 4pm or 6PM eastern time till however late I go.

Was awesome. drank. ate. had fun. the works! now today is my birfday and im gonna head out and buy myself a birthday gift! thanks to the help of everyone in fridays stream and special friends of mine that wanted to contribute to it. I cant thank you guys enough for making a usually boring day for me much more enjoyable and memorable!

Boston bombing (sigh)
Posted 12 years ago2 dead confirmed, 23 injured and some of those critical. I'm an Hour away from Boston so I was no where near the bombings but I hope those around the area are safe.
You know...I have a feeling that this was just some attack by either some asshole similar to the school shooters out there. Just some nut wanting to kill. That this was not from some terrorist group or what have you. Dude built pipebombs and tossed them in trashcans and placed them in different areas. That's my hypothesis.
Hope those in critical care pull through though.

And I found my old sonic comic book collection and was thinking " would anyone want to buy these?" *shrugs* just a thought.
The whole brony thing
Posted 12 years agoTo those of you out there that really believed I am a bony, sadly I am not XD. I think my april fools joke was a success. I believe the best kind of april fools is when you aren't entirely sure if its true or not. the joke is both contradicting and yet believable. Its got that feel like it just MIGHT be real. But I am not a brony.
Thats not to say I didn't have fun doing the images for the sake of being a joke though. I did put in a good deal of effort trying to Draw myself as a pony and even used a friends design who came up with my cutie mark ( who happens to be a big fan of the show so he knows more about them than me ) to try and sell the image even more. Also , I hope that people don't get offended by me having used MLP as a some kind of April fools joke. It was never my intention to make it seem like I was bashing the community and I was trying to be careful not to step on anyone's toes ....er Hooves....BAH!
So as it stands, I kinda broke one of my own rules of never drawing pony art. Pony art doesn't interest me. So to all those kinda wondering if I will be drawing MLP related artwork now , Im gonna decline. I just thought this joke was too fun to pass up. 8,000 watchers! Geeeze
Posted 12 years agoSo i've managed to spot that Ive reached a little over 8,000 watchers, and I guess to some that would feel like some kind of feat. I am amazed at the number with exactly how little I post and reclusive I have been. Though after seeing that number, my brain got to thinking, Just how many are actively watching me. I dunno...I guess the only reason I looked up the amount of watchers I have was because I was asked if I became popular super quick or if it was a gradual thing. I responded back with how I don't believe I am all that popular. I've been on FA for 7 to 8 years. I think its 8 because I remember when FA started, I think a year after I joined, It crashed and people had to create new accounts and submit their name to try and re upload images they had previously.
Anyway, the point is, it was never my intention to be popular. I just remember finally having a scanner and being able to show my artwork to other like minded people. My family knew I like to draw, but they were never interested in what I drew...nor did I care to really show them because they wouldn't understand (not the porn part but the animal characters and stuff). So I could finally show people things! then when I got my first wacom tablet...it opened up a whole other medium and it was easier to get things down digitally. I guess I was more surprised that people actually liked my stuff. Now I'm known, and that's cool! Though being known and being popular are two different things, at least to me.

Posted 12 years agoNot only was it reached! But the it was surpassed by a whole 100 dollars! thats 600 dollars!......YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING AWESOME! I already ordered some parts and Hopefully I can get them all by this week by the end of it or so but Thank you all! I hope to not disappoint when I spruce things up for stream so I can animate , draw and watch movies with you guys at the same time , Game and over just do more awesome things! Im sooo Excited to see what I can possibly do for you guys!
Now some may say that 600 bucks is kinda meager for a PC upgrade, All I really wanted was a computer that can multitask with some heavy duty programs like Photoshop and Xsplit at the same time. So Im getting more ram , a new CPU and Motherboard. So basically like a 400 dollar expense. Im not trying to purchase a new case as the case I have is still sturdy and has plenty of fans..though actually I need to buy 2 new ones...so that may also be another 100 dollars. Heatsink still works. have a decent power supply. and a friend is donating a better graphics card. So all in all Im pretty set.
Which brings me to my next point. My friend sir rocksteady is being hit with tough times and with the Extra 100 dollars for this drive I sent over to him to help his rent payment. I plan on doing some doodles for donations and also to keep selling this shina bundle to help fund him. My goal for him is $300 dollars but since I already chipped in $100, $200 is left! Basically Hes been getting shafted this entire fall / winter season what with the Hurricane sandy mauling. Now some may say that 600 bucks is kinda meager for a PC upgrade, All I really wanted was a computer that can multitask with some heavy duty programs like Photoshop and Xsplit at the same time. So Im getting more ram , a new CPU and Motherboard. So basically like a 400 dollar expense. Im not trying to purchase a new case as the case I have is still sturdy and has plenty of fans..though actually I need to buy 2 new ones...so that may also be another 100 dollars. Heatsink still works. have a decent power supply. and a friend is donating a better graphics card. So all in all Im pretty set.
Which brings me to my next point. My friend sir
rocksteady is being hit with tough times and with the Extra 100 dollars for this drive I sent over to him to help his rent payment. I plan on doing some doodles for donations and also to keep selling this shina bundle to help fund him. My goal for him is $300 dollars but since I already chipped in $100, $200 is left! Basically Hes been getting shafted this entire fall / winter season what with the Hurricane sandy mauling. Shina Arts for PC fundraiser! (update)
Posted 12 years agoHey folks! since stupid things have been hitting me and my pals this holiday season, I was really wanting to upgrade my PC. Though thanks to my car finally dying after it was run into the ground thanks to family obligations, I had to buy a new car. I realized my PC cant handle a lot of the things I want to do for you guys that watch my stream and overall just lacked the power. Im getting into Animation and would love to animate on stream and or be able to stream video and do things on stream to entertain you guys. So Im going against my brain and opening up a donation fundraiser for a better PC (basically A Mobo , CPU and Ram).As it stands though...I could NEVER feel comfortable just taking peoples generous donations, so I decided to conjure up a deal that I hope all ya'll would really like and find interesting! Something that could sweeten the deal.
Remember that Shina CD Idea I mentioned a long while ago? well today im offering up Most of my hidden shina artwork from 6 years ago up to now! Thats right. Images from 2006 all the way to 2012 all in one place! Over 200 images of the bodacious raccoon through the years. Though you may be asking..."Whats the price?! Damnit! tell us the price!!". Seel since this is a donation drive Ive been thinking around $15 to $20 dollars....but anything as High as $10 dollars will net you the Big ol Bag of Shina arts! all of these proceeds will go to helping me upgrade my PC so in turn I can help entertain the masses even better with streaming movies and animation and better gaming if you all want me to do that.
So! if you would like to help and get tons of seen / unseen shina goodies all in one bundle. Please send to my paypal your donation and in the description give me the Email of choice to send you a download link for the arts. stevefarfan is doing something that sounds really fun to me and asked me for permission to use my character for a series of pic sets for commissioners and my character to have fun in and with. Me and someone else hanging at the beach doing fun things is always a great idea....and the thought of a warm...sunny beach with awesome people sounds so nice right now (.....Hate winter.....). Thats not to say that our characters cant have any sexy fun at the beach. Oooh yes we can! Daigo likes both sides of the spectrum. if you have certain ideas that you may think wont fly with me , feel free to hit me up and ask if this is okay to do or not.
