As you saw, furaffinity went for a short-lived coma.
I wished, on tuesday, to announce the new monthly discount (early on) so people wouldn't be surprised but Well.

So, for the moment:

Overall, I felt like those few days with Furaffinity off were kinda heavy on my moods since I'm low on commissions atm AND fa is clearly the platform with the biggest audience. That said and out of the way.
The update is mainly positive. With most of my time spent working on my commissions, I'm glad to see more and more people following me here or on other platforms.
Likewise, to find more and more people going to the Telegram Channel, participating to the votes and on the selection of the monthly discount.

It's almost too good to be true, so I'm certain life will come crashing down on me.
But in the meantime, I'm... Trying to enjoy the moment?

On a more personal note:
I'm still working on the Forgotten Sea stories, plus some other canon stories (Enough that I have a little backlot of stories to reread and post)... And I've recently been on Monster Hunter Wilds. Damn, that game can suck my soul like a whore on new year's eve... If I'm still alive next week, count me lucky.

And hmmm...
I might be planning something for my 20K faves on FA, I might see... But yup, that's all folks.

Today's in Shork news: Shork is still tired, but he lives! Which is the most important detail! Yay!
More seriously... I'm feeling better. I don't know if it's my recent work or commissions, but I see more people around and following my work. It makes me feel better about myself, what I do... And my future prospects.

Yet, it's not perfect... Or rather, I'm currently trying to get a hang of a few administrative organizations to help me go fully freelance without any restriction. A somewhat painful progress when you know about the physical pain that's French administration.
However, it might help me in the future by integrating all my years spent writing as working for my own company. I guess?

Beyond that.
I finally created my Telegram Group: Shork Scribbles (the link).
I've been spamming it because I want it to be a centralized way for me to reach my readers and sometimes make them participate in my projects.
One of which, Spelljammer anthology, is still around, buried under the commissions I'm working on.

However! I also offer my readers to propose a kink/theme each month and to vote for which one they prefer.
Once done, that kink/theme becomes the de-facto discounted category and this month, it's Tentacles and Parasites.Which can be both or either.
Yes, it doesn't mean much when my commissions are closed, but my queue is getting backed up... I am, however, considering increasing it to give people more leeway. But for that, I might need to get a feel of people's interest in commissioning me, so leave a comment about it.

Oh and yes. With my increased productivity plus a few backed-up artworks, I have decided to post three stories/media per week. It might be a tad heavy, and I'll see to adjust just in case.
But yup, there will be more content around. And a tad less Spermicidal Takeover now the month's over.

As usual, I'm posting smut, whatever art I get, and the typical. I don't plan to change much. Or rather, I hope to keep that routine that keep me somewhat stable and sane.
Writing smut remains my priority, as long as I can. And well, that's why I reach you.

I know it's the post December period where everyone's wallet is feeling empty, so it's fine.
But I'm back working on commissions and have reopened them, after getting two-three people who canceled or suddenly became unreachable in my queue.
So if you're feeling you can spend a bit or want one of my stories, don't hesitate to fill out the form.

More than that, I added a new option with a somewhat lesser pricing for those who want to have a Stream Takeover stories. They're stories mainly focused on Spermicidal Takeover and urethra play, but they're at a lesser price.
And I might do a sort of rotation with one month dedicated to a type of story with a lesser price for that category. The option's possible.

Another subject is how I plan to open a Telegram or a Discord server. I might need your opinion if people would be interested to have a mean to reach me publicly and maybe get previews of my work... Or not.

Sometimes, life's kind enough to give that positive numbness. You go on with your day, you feel somewhat satisfied despite not feeling much. It's not great, but when you've done worse, it's appreciated.
It's that little moment when you're productive, when you finish correcting smut, when you feel like you can reopen your comms, when you're about to start playing with a friend with levity in your voice.

And then... Boom. Life. Back at it. Kicking you in the nuts.

The good ol' Derg kicked the bucket. He was nice, he was good, he was someone who believed in my dirty mind from the beginning.

Onyx? Was for him. Because we shared a kinky mind.
We didn't interact much beyond our perversion. Or at least, I did not push further as it was for me a security. A little garden where we could exchange naughty pictures and ideas, hype one another, and exchange a few wip/nasty details.
Doesn't seem much. But that was enough for me. I guess. I guessed. Now, maybe that I've lost him, it feels like it wasn't enough. A part of my life, as small as it is, suddenly vanished. Why? How? don't know. Won't probably know, I wasn't close, I am not in the close circle.

But it is still shitty.
It's still a stab in the heart. It's still a pain that churns and churns, keeping me awake at night. Couldn't sleep. Maybe another night. But even then...

Yes, you read it right. I'm back.
Well, you must have seen me posting more stuff around lately as my little break is over. Truth is, I cannot find a job that doesn't drive me insane. Most of the jumping through hoops is enough to drive me insane, like when I have to rewrite my entire resume three times in a row because they want it in a special format with a special font, with a special paging.
Am I going insane about it? Probably.


Nevertheless, I took advantage of that break to work on a personal project I won't post on Furaffinity.
It helped me improve my production, rethink my model, and overall... I just accept that I mainly need a little boost. To get more clients, to improve my financial situation that's slowly going down the drain so...

... I'm back!
I'm back! And less costly, for the new clients!
Truth be told, I gave a high price because I did not want to change or increase it in the future, hoping that I could keep the same without impacting people. Being attentive to the ongoing inflation. But I guess I'll stick to a smaller price tag.
I cannot pay back those who paid the high price, but you will be given access to a different queue system for those who did, so you won't have to wait whenever you want a new commission. Personal consideration.

I'm unsure if people have noticed my lack of posts at the moment. Maybe some will be relieved the tidal wave of smut has stopped for a moment.
I haven't seen many reaching out or inquiring, so... Heh.

Nonetheless, I felt I had to update you on what's happening, at least for the few interested.
The universe is just bashing me, and at the same time, I'm trying to improve my situation.

First, I finally got a driving license. Well, a portion of one (As I cannot drive a manual car, yet. I have a few hours to do, and it'll be good.)
Secondly, following the whole hacking debacle, plus the constant heat biting me, I decided to take a few days off.

And finally... Well, I don't know how to say it, but I might have to stop writing smut in one month. Why? My finances are not that good, and in one month, more or less, it'll be the end of my welfare. This means I'll have to go back searching for a soul-crushing job in IT, which will probably amount to another call center or terrible job where I will get no training at all.

It's a sort of notice and... In the same way, an announcement on why I'm not posting as much. I have the drive, but I don't think my work is exciting or eye-catching enough compared to the big names. Or people in general.
Maybe, I'll keep writing for the VIP/the long-time supporters since I feel I owe it to them, and they've been extremely kind to me. But for the rest... Oh well.
I'm closing the commissions and the Google form; there's no point in keeping it open.
I'll post a few more shorkscribbles, and what text I had in the backburner, then it'll be back to the long silence.

Last year, I opened what I called the "Writing Request"! And this year, again, I'm doing another round of writing requests.

What is a Writing Request?
Simple, you post the idea you have of a story/scene. If I pick your idea, I'll write it.
I will then share the document on my social media, furaffinity, sofurry, and archivofourown.


Here are the RULES! to participate
I'll only write three pages for each request! Keep it short, keep it simple, keep it kinky!

When writing a request, you can only pick two choices out of those three:
- The Characters
- The Kinks
- The Plot (Of course, some plots evidently involve some kinks (like tentacles), but I'm free to interpret them)

If a request is too remote from my regular kinks, It'll be automatically refused.

If a request is too long, too complex, too constraining. Well. It'll be refused!

Finally, only those who watch me are allowed to participate!

Here we go!
I'll keep the comments open for one week and start picking them. I might write 5 or 6 stories that way, depending on people's interest!

To start off: The Commissions are still open and I thank each of my customers (VIP or Not) for helping me.

Now, onto the update or, rather, how I am doing.
So, it's been like a month since I left my previous job due to health and stress reasons.

Honestly? I am afraid I'll jump into another job and find myself in a similar situation (Job with absurdly high turnover, stressful environment, disrespect for the IT, lack of onboarding).
But I can't do much else as I'm an IT guy whose other skills are mainly writing and translating. There's not much to say.

Beyond that?
Well! When it comes to writing, I think I've returned to my previous pace and beyond. I changed how I handle my workload and separated it to avoid burnout by sticking to the same idea/story over weeks.

I'd say I reached a plateau regarding my writing. Not that I cannot improve…
But I am in a peculiar situation. As you know, I'm not a native speaker, and most of my environment is mainly French. People I talk/interact with IRL, my previous jobs, my family, etc. As such, I can work to improve and compensate for my shortcomings. But I'll never be fully immersed in the language.
It's funny and a bit shameful to admit that point, but yes; I suffer from that impostor syndrome at the moment, and it's my primary way to lessen the blow of losing another job. ._.


... Well! That was all for the doom and gloom!
I am hopeful this month will be better now that I'm easing into my new routine! I'm also working to get my driver license, sending my resume to companies around, and planning to clean up my little garden after an extremely dry winter.
... And maybe get down to drawing again.

Now, for the small updates.
I think earlier this month, I caught the C-word. You knooow, iiiit. But ever since, I'm freaking weak. I'm spitting, coughing, snoring like a truck stuck in a bedroom, and that's on my best days while also plagued by a few bouts of insomnia.
I'm trying to keep up, but while I don't plan for my illness to impact the raffle OR any commissions, my personal production might... And perhaps, over January, as I'm forced to juggle with a new IT job, my posting might die down...

As you've seen, I opened a new folder dedicated to our Dragonborn's story, and it's for a reason.
See, while the first chapters were created of my own volition, the next ones will be... Suggestions! (Or requests, shall you prefer)

You can write here your ideas for a new chapter without any limitations!
That's right: Whether you want the Dragonborn to be an Imperial, Argonian, or an Orc; a male, eunuch, male-herm; in the Dragonborn's early day, his late years, or while fighting Alduin; to have him fuck a troll, Ulfric, or an OC; the possibilities are open for you!

HOWEVER! However, however... There are some limitations I include for my own sanity:
- No Low-key commissions. I'm taking requests/suggestions, not your most secret fantasy; make it simple, make it short.
- No crossovers with other universes, but everyone from within the Elder Scrolls universe is fair game.
- Only one suggestion per person. And if I refuse it, please don't try to argue.

Once done selecting the list, I'll announce the closure of this journal. But in the meantime, feel free to share!

With the third chapter of Remedy posted and a small texts ready whenever I receive my commissions, I thought about doing a few writing prompts.

What's a writing request?
You comment an idea of a couple, a kink, or a scene you'd like me to write. And if I appreciate the idea, I'll write a small text about it for free.


I may take original ideas because they're far from my kinks, as well as I could be taking familiar kinks because I enjoy writing about them, anything goes.
Don't feel pressured in writing your idea, but if you could keep it small. If I see a paragraph describing what you want, with lots of constraints (low key commission), I'll refuse it.
