The Future of Commissions
General | Posted 10 years agoAs it stands, I'm too busy to really justify taking y'alls money and produce content in a reasonable manner. School is kicking my ass, and working three jobs really isn't helping. So, I'm going to finish this one that I've had on the backburner for a few weeks now and shut it down. I've had a lot of personal ideas stewing in my head for a while now and for once, I'm actually kind of excited to draw again. So, i'm going to pursue some personal projects and doodles for a little while. Hopefully is the semester calms down I'll open back up, but for now i'm focusing on me.

Quiet Places and Private Thoughts
General | Posted 10 years agoI don't like a quiet house, and not having internet is killing me on the inside. No background noise when I'm working on schoolwork or cooking, or even on commissions makes it hard to focus and not feel a little anxious. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets like this, but I'm sure a lot of you love having peace and quiet to work and think. For me, it's always like, a situational thing. If I'm angry or just too lethargic to do anything, I'll settle down and nestle up in my bed and just think. Eventually I'll fall asleep and things will be right as rain. Though if I'm in good humor i find it difficult to enjoy the silence. It's a hard balance to find.
I may just be used to living in a chaotic atmosphere though. I remember when I was living with my parents, or in the dorm halls, there was always some sort of noise. Whether it was the sound of frogs in the middle of the night, or hearing people screaming and carrying on through the day. Those were the only times i really enjoyed any peace and quiet. But, that might be because of all the noise and people i dealt with. Today for example, all I've done really is go to class, study, and return home. I visited with friends and all that, had a good time, but when I came home (now) It's just dead silence. Like, i don't even need to be social, just some kind of background noise, like a youtube video or something to just fill in the empty space. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm around people I like? I really don't know. It throws me off something fierce though. I have no idea why it puts me on edge, but it does.
Honestly I have no idea why I'm even posting this journal, it's not like I'm announcing commissions or anything. I guess it's just nice to put my thoughts out there. Either or, what do you prefer? Noisy atmospheres or quiet ones?

The Aftermath
General | Posted 10 years agoThe funeral was today. The service was good and a lot of people had a lot of nice things to say. Still, doesn't really make it any better.
All I can do is resume as normal. Thank you for all the well wishes, everyone.

Rest Well Pawpaw
General | Posted 10 years agoMy grandfather passed away this morning due to a heart attack overnight. He was scheduled to have a doctors appointment this week to get it checked out too...
I'll be honest, this fucking sucks. The last thing i expected this morning was that phone call. Especially him of all people. He wasn't my grandfather by blood, but he may as well have been. He was a good guy who got a little mouthy when he had too much whiskey but despite that, he was like a jolly ginger giant. I already miss him so much...
I don't know what's going to happen on my end art wise, so just bare with me. I still plan on working through all of this, but... Well, just be patient with me, please.
Thank you. Hope you guys are doing well.

A New Year, A New You
General | Posted 10 years agoOr, so goes the tradition anyways. Every year we make a list of things we wanna change about ourselves or what we do in our daily routines, and while it's a good idea, it's not exactly feasible a lot of the time. Seriously, when I wanted to lose weight that one year it was tough because I didn't have time or funds to really focus on a proper diet. I still don't if we're being honest...
Regardless, I'm working on trying to change some things. I'm finally moved into my room at the apartment (i've been sleeping on a futon in the living room for like a month) so now I actually have some privacy for art and stuff. So, what I would like to do, is to try and get back into the swing of things art wise. I've got a few ideas on how to do that, but I'll get into that later. Aside from the art stuff, I'm thinking of trying to get more invested in other hobbies, and try to keep myself out of trouble as much as I can.
Socially, I'd like to be a bit better on that front. I'd like to get over my fear of talking to people and just, go for it. At the same time though, there are some people I feel i'll be better off without. I'm tired of having such toxic experiences with these people and getting really close, only to be treated like ass the next time I come around.
All in all though, I just want 2016 to be better. 2015 was rough for me, and it may only get rougher, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to make the most of it this coming year.
Anywho, art stuff, yadda yadda. Gonna focus on figures and stuff, try and mess with body types and such. Hopefully I can make it work.
But yeah that's about it I guess. Happy New Year y'all!End of Semester and Plans for Break
General | Posted 10 years agoHey dudes and dudettes! In case you weren't aware, it's crunch time for a lot of us college students. That's right, the last two weeks/finals week of the semester are in full swing, and lemme tell ya, I've never been more stressed out. I have a cumulative final on Monday, a presentation in Web Design Tuesday, a critique in Print Making on Thursday, and a final exam on Friday. On top of that, I have an entire semester's worth of online homework I'm still trying to take care of. Yeah, it's been... eh.
But hey, on the bright side, break is almost here!
I'll have a full month to relax and recover, re-align my chakras, and just be a fat lazy butt munch in general. I'm really looking forward to it, you guys have no idea. Of course, that being said, I'm not going to be TOO lazy. What break means for me is that I'll finally have some time to dedicate to finishing up those few commissions I owe people, and finally getting to work on some personal art I've been meaning to work on. It's gonna be really nice, being able to finally sit down and just go ham on some art stuff.
Which kinda begs the question, what do you guys wanna see more of from me? I'm being serious, I'm not looking to like, appease anyone with what they want to see from me, but more so, just get a general idea of what you guys like seeing from me. You can be honest too, I'm genuinely curious!
Anyways, I gotta get back to studying, got a whole lot of work to do. Leave a comment below on what you'd like to see more of from me, seriously! It would mean a lot!
Bye guys, and good luck on your exams, if you have them!Back to class
General | Posted 10 years agoTold y'all I wouldnt get crap done. :^) I'm not rested enough for class dfagasgdas. Ahh well, hope you guys enjoyed your break!
I'm on thanksgiving break
General | Posted 10 years agoNot that I'm gonna get anything done, just wanted to share that with you all.

Another Lousy Update
General | Posted 10 years agoHey guys.
Things have been kinda rough here recently. Classes are just getting all the more stressful, I've started working at a second job, and honestly I haven't been sleeping well in the slightest. What with staying up late to work on assignments, and the stress of it all keeping me awake, suffice it to say I've been getting my shit kicked.
There have been a few good things, though.
I finally managed to get my Desktop set up with everything I need to start working on art work and things at a much better speed than normal. I can even use the adobe programs I need for my Graphic Design classes and such, so that's awesome. However, even so, I'm still being held up when it comes to working on commissions and other artwork. For that, I'm sorry. I've tried my best to make time for artwork and such but every chance I get free time I just end up squandering it because I just have so much to do. It really sucks, and I know it's not an excuse. I owe some of you guys some artwork, and I'm going to get it to you... Hopefully sooner than later.
That second job I got is helping me out a lot financially. Or, rather, it will, once the pay checks start rolling in much faster. Though with this heftier work load, I've been doing quite a bit of thinking. Originally I wanted to double major while I was in University, get two degrees so I would have twice the chance of getting a good job when I get out of this dumb. However, I don't know if I'll be able to manage 30+ hours of work, along with another 20+ hours of school work and classes to keep up with. Hell, I'm surprised I've even made it this far! Though seriously, I've decided to drop one of my majors and just focus on the one. I know it's such a stupid thing to do, being almost two and a half years into University, but really, I would be a lot happier focusing on the one. That being said, I think i'm going to stick with my Graphic Design major and drop the Broadcasting one. As silly as it sounds, I'm at least really good at one of these, and the stress is a lot less. With Broadcasting I have to make time for interviews, write news stories for class, and worst of all, deal with professors that have no friggen' idea of what they're doing. It's pretty sad, honestly. I swear, in my radio class, I had to actually do business for the head of the radio department. Which, I understand, we have to do for reals in the real world, but I really don't think that as a student I should be handling someone else's money or barter.
I've also been dealing with some pretty... personal things. Feelings towards certain people, debating on whether it's a good idea to stay in contact with some, trying to find ways to cut out all the toxic things in my life. It's... hard. The people I need to let go I can't, and those that are good for me are just so hard to find. Oh well, least I got my future roommate.
Aside from all that, I guess I've been alright. Just doing the do, trying to get settled so I can finally get caught up with everything.
Hope you guys have been okay. <3Update!
General | Posted 10 years agoHey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that im SUPER close to having my computer finished and ready to go! All the parts to my desktop are in place, now I'm just trying to get an operating system on it. Gonna try to get Windows 7 ordered tomorrow.
As for commissions, sorry I'm taking so long guys! It's been a long and stressful week, and i know you guys don't like excuses, but trust me, i wouldn't be saying it if it wasn't true. I'm going to do my best to trya nd get some progress made on those of you whom i owe art too. Then, I'll be open once again!
Thanks for being patient y'all. <3Good news, everyone!
General | Posted 10 years agoFuturama references aside, I really do have some pretty good news! At least, I think it is anyway, y'all can think of it how you will.
For starters, I have an interview tomorrow, so that's awesome! Hopefully I can land the job. If so, I'll be able to afford living in that apartment next semester no problem at all! I'm really excited for this, you guys don't even know. It'll be super nice to be able to live somewhere comfortably and confidently without having to worry about being unable to eat and drink just so you can afford to live there.
Second, I ordered the parts for my computer today! I'm going to need to purchase a bit more RAM but as far as everything else is concerned, I'm totally stoked to get this thing here. <3 I got a pretty sweet deal over on NewEgg, and even found a really nice Asus monitor! I believe it has a sound bar built in. If that'st he case, shit, I'm gonna have a good time blasting music! If it sucks it's okay, I'll invest in some speakers at a later date.
Finally, something I kinda kept under wraps because I didn't know what was going to happen at the time. Over the course of the weekend I've done nothing but stress out because of money. Apparently I owed my University some money since the beginning of the semester. Instead of letting me know right away, they put it off until after mid terms, so like, I found out not even a week before we're supposed to sign up for classes. For those of you who didn't go to college, what this means is that since I owed the school money, they had a hold on my account, which is bad because it means I wouldn't be able to sign up for classes next semester until all of it was paid off. Well, I was in luck, because as I found out the university hadn't given me all the money I requested in my loans at the beginning of the semester. The reason for that is well, kinda stupid honestly. They try to save students money based on their actual need (which is determined by how much money their parents make, etc.) and what kind of scholarships they got. So because my parents make "too much money" and I got like, three scholarships, they thought I would be okay with a bit less in my loans. They do that because it's supposed to help the students and keep them from paying a crap ton back once their done. But, it's flawed, as you can see, given my situation. It was easily fixed; all I had to do was go in and ask them what was wrong. From there I just got the money they forgot to give me. It's a HUGE weight off my shoulders, lemme tell ya.
Really this journal was kinda pointless, I was just excited to tell you guys. Though with the computer coming in, that means commissions will be done a lot faster! At least I hope so... Either or!
Cheers!Vibeo James Maymay
General | Posted 10 years agoI'm fat and dumb and was tagged by
to do this meme thingie. Soooo... Here goes!
1. You started to play videogames at the age of...?
I have no friggin' idea WHEN I started to play video games, but I'll say maybe it was around age 5 or 6.
2. First game you ever played?
This is another good question! I'm pretty sure it was Pokemon Crystal though. The only evidence I have to back this claim is that I learned to read thanks to the game, sooooo... Ye.
3. First console you owned?
A green Gameboy Color! I still have it, but it unfortunately doesn't work anymore.
4. Consoles you own/owned?
Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, NEW Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Playstation, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360.
5. Your favorite genre(s)?
It's really hard for me to find a "favorite" genre, because I can find enjoyment in any game I play, even FPS ones. Though if I had to limit it to a handful, I would say I always get the most enjoyment out of JRPGs, RPGs, Turn Based Strategy, and I think Action/Adventure games.
6. Favorite game character(s)?
ANOTHER HARD QUESTION. But, if I had to pick one, it would probably be Travis Touchdown from the No More Heroes series. He's so goofy, full of himself, and a total weaboo that it makes his games even more fun to play. Like seriously, his main reason for even being an assassin in the first place is just so he can get into Sylvia's pants. That's dedication right there.
7. Which element(s) in games is/are most important for you (story, graphic etc.)?
Graphics are overrated, stories can be too long and convoluted, there is no real unique way to make game play engaging anymore... So really I just wanna focus on whether or not I'm having fun with the game. For example, if you were to sit me down in a room with two choices; the newest Super Mario game, or Call of Duty, I would probably pick Mario. Say what you will about the franchise being milked dry, but the games are always really fun! The same can be said for a lot of IPs from a lot of platforms and genres. Something fun is all I care about.
8. You don't care about ...?
I'll re-iterate; graphics, story, gameplay, "uniqueness", length, all that crap they always go on about in game reviews.
9. Prefer PC or Console?
I like them both! I've always been given the argument "but D why would u wanna buy a console that's so lame pc is better blah blah blah". Well, first of all, I have beef with both. Consoles have their competition with each other that forces them to make platform exclusives, the cost of controllers is bogus, you have to pay for your online experience, yadda yadda yadda. With PC you run the risk of dropping like, a grand on a home built desktop that's state of the art for like a year or two before it's out of date and can't run the latest Triple A title or whatever, so then you have to spend several more hundred dollars upgrading the damn thing just to keep up with those shiny new games you want to play with. Both sides have their downsides, but they also have their upsides. I love couch gaming. It's comfortable, you can play with friends locally, all that jazz. I love PC gaming. I can boot up steam, chat with my friends over text while I'm shooting zombies or something, it's all good.
10. Your current 3 Fav games?
Undertale, Pokemon Black/White, and I think probably Rogue Legacy. This is my list as of right now, and the list varies a lot depending on what I've been playing recently. For example; I'm pretty sure if you asked me next week what was my favorite one or two of those games would be replaced with like, Elder Scrolls Online, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Splatoon, Dragonball Xenoverse... You get the idea.
11. 3 Games you didn't like...
The only games I didn't like were probably all ones that focused on the online play aspect rather than the campaign. So, mostly Call of Duty games and Battlefield type stuff. Why, you ask? Well, for starters, where I grew up I didn't have internet that was capable of playing games online, so I spent 90% of my time always playing in single player. To put more effort and time into a game is really crappy in my honest opinion. There are still people out there who can't enjoy that kinda stuff. I feel that developers should always have their best teams split between those who do online and offline stuff, so everyone can enjoy and have fun.
12. One game that's totally overrated in your opinion?
I'll probably be slain for this but, Team Fortress 2. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun with friends, but it's not the best thing since sliced bread. It has it's problems just like every other game. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it, though!
13. Ever played an online game, if yes which one(s)?
Several! Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, World of Warcraft, Warframe, Elder Scrolls Online, and I may be getting into Wildstar soon. However, all of these games kinda suck by yourself, so I don't really play them anymore unless I'm with friends. The only exception is ESO, because of how it's set up, you can still have tons of fun by yourself.
14. What do you think about ...Tomb Raider?
Never played it. Though I do love the concept.
15. ...Tetris?
Tetris is really fun if you're just kinda chilling by yourself and don't feel like playing anything too engaging. Besides, it's matching colors and shapes! Fun!
16. ...Sonic?
I've never really had beef with the Sonic franchise unlike every other gamer in existence. Yeah, there are some terrible games, but not all of them are miserable. Then again, I go in playing the game and making my own experiences, not the one they want you to have.
That being said, I LOVE SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE
17. ...Spyro?
I've always had plenty of fun with the Spyro games, and I'm honestly kinda disappointed in the Skylanders trash that replaced it.
18. ...The Sims?
The Sims is fun whenever you're up for playing God, but that's about it.
19. ...Legend of Zelda?
I've never played a bad Zelda game, unless you count Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link. But, even then, it wasn't miserable. In fact as far as Zelda games go, if you were to put one in front of me I would play it and become a fan instantly. Now, that's not to say that I'll beat it, because I have a terrible habit of getting busy and putting the game down for long periods at a time, but I still have fun with them!
20. ... Assassin's Creed?
That'll be a big N-O there good buddy. The games are boring, the story is boring, and it's just the same crap Activision does with Call of Duty. Let it die already.
21. GAME OVER!!!
Ness! It looks like you got your head handed to you. So, how about giving it another shot?
22. Game(s) you'd love to see?
Honestly I'd love to see more obscure JRPGs floating around. Undertale was great because it gave you the option to play the game through without killing any monsters, and that caused the game's story to change with that. There's another new one coming out called Y2K: A Post-Modern RPG that I'm excited for too, if only because it seems like what a 3D Earthbound would be like. Aside from that, I'm curious to see what FPS games can do to make it seem more fun for people like me.
23. Game(s) you're waiting for at the moment?
Fallout 4 and Y2K: A Post-Modern RPG. Aside from that I'm having fun playing the games I have now.
I don't really have anyone to tag, but if you wanna do this meme thing feel free! I had a lot of fun with it, even if I seem like I'm being kind of mean in some of these answers. Really i'm just being blunt.

Commissions are open again and I'm dumb
General | Posted 10 years agoThe title more or less sums up the journal topic, so I won't bore you guys too much. I've raised some money for my computer which is rad, however it's not really enough. I had to take that money and put it towards the apartment so really I'm just back where I started. So yeah! That pretty much sums it up. If you're interested I'll link my prices at the tail end of this journal, so feel free to take a look!
Slots are unlimited so come on down!

Growing Up
General | Posted 10 years agoMy soon to be roomate and I put a security deposit down on an apartment today. It's... Surreal. I'm on my way to actually becoming an adult. I'll be paying my own bills, working, and still trying to get a degree... Man, I'm gonna be busy as heck! Which kinda brings me to my next topic.
I dunno if I'm gonna be very active next semester.
As it stands, I'll have to work a lot all while juggling school work and a social life. I'm gonna try to stay active and draw but realistically I night not post a whole lot, depending. But this is all up in the air still, who knows, I may be around even more! So don't worry too much. Worst case scenario you'll see like... Maybe four or five pictures less from me.
Anywho, that's all I got. Commissions are still open and underway if y'all are still interested!
Cheers! <3 Fall
General | Posted 10 years agoFall = Hoodie weather, which makes for happy woxes.Commissions Are Open!
General | Posted 10 years agoAlright so, my computer is slowly but surely getting closer and closer to the brink of death and, despite the fact that I don't want to do it, I'm forced to really cut back and save money. I need to put all my extra funds into a new computer. So, in light of that, I'll be opening commissions once again.
The only stipulation I have on these commissions are that they will take a little while to finish because I am back in school now. However, any and all help would really be appreciated. This would help alleviate a lot of stress on my end and would probably actually help extend the life of this old PC right here. Plus, the new computer could be used strictly for art and homework purposes, so streaming may be more frequent because of a reliable and useful computer.
Further information, such as prices and such can be found here on this link! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16503379/
If you would like a commission please let me know via note and we can work something out. If not, if you guys could spread the word that would be amazing. Thanks so much in advance everyone. <3I'm sure everyone has seen this...
General | Posted 10 years agoBut just in case, have an enlightening experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8MQMn-62y4"Magic Hands" In Art
General | Posted 10 years agoY'all have probably seen them, but pictures that are often done from the perspective of the viewer sometimes have what I like to call "magic hands", to kinda indicate that you, the viewer, are interacting a little with the subject in the picture. I've never done any pieces like this myself, but I think it would be a lot of fun to give it a shot. It'll probably innocent belly stuff because we all know I'm pretty vanilla when it comes to art. Though, who knows? Maybe I'll venture out and try some butt stuff or dirtier pics with it. Though that makes me curious; how do you feel when you see a picture like this? Do you feel like you're "interacting" with the image more, or that you can relate to it? I'm honestly curious!
Also, if I offered this kinda stuff in future commissions, would anyone be interested in it?
