Possible commissions starting next week?
General | Posted 14 years agoSince my comic author course has ended now, and I most likely won't start any other evening courses (all the interesting ones like game design / animation are now daytime courses at the institution here :( ), I might consider starting up on taking commissions from next week onward.

Comic class, 5 pages finished (link inside)
General | Posted 14 years agoPosted my 5 pages for my comic author class on my blog, left the text in Dutch because I'm an asshole!
The first 4 pages were sketched out on paper first, the final was made directly and entirely digitally.

Been scrappin' shit, dawg!
General | Posted 14 years agoTossed a bunch of sketches and linearts into my Scraps folder after looking at some other folks' galleries. Colorful, bright and detailed images that are a joy to look at.
And then I look at my gallery and go like "Geez, my never looks the way I want it, in the end. Learn softshading, you asshole!"

New PC specs + Comic drawing + Upcoming 50K views.
General | Posted 14 years agoSo I got a new PC about two weeks ago, finally ridding myself of the POS Packard Bell I previously owned. Seriously, that thing was only good for people who watch movies on their PC... I think the biggest improvement, aside from components, is the fact that the new PC has an actual airflow, and... oh, I dunno, FANS?
Yes, the Packard Bell had no fans at all. That's how shit it was when it came to keeping things cooled.
Anyway, new rig;
Case: Antec Six Hundred v2 (ATX)
Motherboard: ASRock P67 Pro3 B3: socket 1155
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K: socket 1155 i5 quad core (4x3300Mhz)
CPU Cooler: Scythe Katana
Memory: Kingston Valueram DDR3 Memory, 4GBx2
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 with aftermarket cooler Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme Plus
SSD: OCZ Vertex2, 60GB
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 2TB, 7200 rpm
PSU: Aerocool Horsepower 750W
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit
Fun times ahead! It can keep 100FPS easily, but since my screen only has a 60Hz refresh rate, I keep on vertical sync to have the smoothest looking performance for me during gaming. I mean... is the human eye capable of seeing 100fps differences? Probably, but don't care..
Point two: drawing comics.
GAAAAWD! I'm such a slacker, I only have two weeks left to draw 2 pages, ink 3 of them, and color all 5 of them. I'll be pushing back my gaming habits to focus on those pages.
But Dalehan, what are you drawing?
Glad you should ask, imaginary spacemonkey.
I'm currently still drawing 5 pages of the Dalehan and Rumbottom storyline I want to draw. It's for my comic author course, and in the end we'll have our pages bundled in a professional looking "catalog" comic. I'll be buying 10 of them for myself in case I want to hand it out somewhere or keep them as part of a portfolio. For this reason alone I want these pages to look crisp and pro, so I can't slack off on them any longer.
The original idea was to have a short story, based around the global concept of "Zombie". At first, my initial idea was to draw a short story about a superhero who had fallen from grace. Actually... imagine the plan of Syndrome in The Incredibles, if he went through with it and succeeded (selling his gadgets to everyone in the world, making everyone super. And if everyone would be super, then no one would be super anymore).
The "hero" would be a fat, chubby plumber who would have to fix toilets and sinks for the new generation of superheroes, because in their decadence, they could barely do anything else besides fighting crime. So after that, he realizes that plumbing was "his power", and would revive as a plumbing hero.
Also, Bicycle Repair Man comes to mind here! It's not the most original story in the world, but frankly... I'm bad at storytelling.
So it isn't about a plumbing superhero, but about Dalehan and Rumbottom. Will they be slaying dragons or fighting hordes of orcs and goblins?
No, they aren't doing that in the current comic. Heck, it's not even a short story, I used the format of the 5 pages to deliver a fragment of a longer, ongoing storyline. Sort of like you'd buy a weekly comic magazine, and there'd be an ongoing storyline. The pages pick up in a point in the story where the two heroes first meet the female heroine in a mage's tower, ending in a clue to where they'll be headed off to next.
I chose this format to have an effect that'll "wet the appetite". A short story is just that, a short story. Going with a story fragment, I might succeed in making people curious for more. "Who are these two? How did they meet? What is their journey? What'll happen after this moment?".
Overall, the 5 pages aren't "interesting" with a colorful explosion of action, but remember, this is also an experiment for me to see what I'm capable of.
So, will we ever get to read a full story? I'm already wet with anticipation.
I appreciate the false enthousiasm, figment of my imagination, but at this point even I can't tell.
I might end up drawing a full story in a webcomic format (Wordpress / Comicpress comes to mind), if I can find a right balance for me to dedicate time to it.
But for those who're interested, I'm currently laying a couple of foundations for some short erotic comics, again to test the waters. I'll have
resari helping out some for ideas and dialogue with it, too.
Amg I'm almost at 50K views? I should draw something up for that! D:
WELL THAT LAST BIT WAS SUCKY AND SHORT WASN'T IT! :D

Random musings, opinions, and stuff: The Second Coming
General | Posted 14 years agoHere we go again, random thoughts and ideas popping up while I'm drawin! As always, feel free to go in on certain bits that may or may not interest you :)
- Just seen the documentary again where 30 hornets slaughter a colony of 30.000 European honey bees. Which raises the question to me.. who would win the battle if they ever got into contact? Giant Japanese hornets, or killer bees?
- A comedic routine I kinda start to dislike right now? Immediate contradictions when someone denies something about themselves, mostly because you can see them coming the moment they mention it.
- Seeing how everyone in the world is getting so excited about MLP and whatever, I realized something about myself: ever since I stopped watching anime and reading manga with the mindset that it was the best thing ever, I've also stopped caring about cartoons in way that they a) get me overly excited watching them, and b) make me want to draw their characters.
The last one I could remember me going crazy about was Alucard, and even that's been years.
However, I'd probably still be citing Avatar: The Last Airbender as one of my favorite modern TV cartoons. But overall.... I don't even watch television anymore.
-Speaking of anime and manga, why are fevers such an easy cop-out for a "sickness, caring" moment? It's like... oh hey, he's blushing and sweaty, "no, really I'm fine.." BAM FEVER! OH NOES!
- Fukkuh youuuuu, hayfever! ;_;
- I just finished inking a busy, busy comic panel for my standards.. GAH! Pain in the ass, I still need to ink 4, of which I need to draw 3 from scratch. ...within a month. Gaming will have to move to the back of the line until I get this done. I want to have these three pages drawn by wednesday, not inked yet... in 2 evenings. I'm gonna need some smack.
- Finally gotten a Fancy Fedora Hat for my Spy loadout on TF2. Thanks
katsuke!
- Looking forward to getting the new PC soonish, it'll be a bit more of a beast for me to work with :)
- I really should finish reading A Game of Thrones... it's been sitting here on my shelf for a long time now. I'm just way too slow of a reader :(
- I wish my network speed was faster... I'm currently working with http://www.speedtest.net/result/1267858582.png . This is to say, the advertised bandwidth was "up to 12Mbps", which is something they'd really need to prohibit. The effective Mbps for my region was 6, which also had to be cut down in half because, again, of my region, bringing the true value to 2Mbps. What a fucking load.
Also, I'm still on ADSL. I'll stick with it until I'd leave the house, whiiiiiich will probably take a while.

PC Issues, will you ever cease to be? (Cintiq trouble)
General | Posted 14 years agoRight, this is a bit of a big one again, but I have a hard time finding a solution.
Currently, whenever I plug in my Cintiq's DVI cable, my pc will crash. Blue screen, even. I have no idea wether the problem lies with memory, the graphic card, or even the Cintiq itself, but right now it's just impossible to do any proper work on it. I -did- notice I was having issues with the graphic card/Cintiq combo (AMD Radeon HD 4850, for those who're wondering) since a couple of CCC releases ago. CCC would not play well with the Cintiq, causing its screen to flicker whenever I scrolled a page on my primary monitor, before crashing. Now, it outright crashes.
What aggrivates me most is the fact there's a 2000€ piece of hardware standing on my desk, and I can't even use it! Well... technically, I can still use the tablet portion of it, but I'm not allowed to plug in the actual DVI cable to have a properly working display.
Maaaybe some good news will be that I'm actually going to ditch this Packard Bell PC in favor of a custom build desktop with some more kick to it. I have no ETA on when it'll be done, but the guy will be coming over to my house for installation and testing the hardware. If the Cintiq still causes crashes at that point, I'm ready to accept it's a hardware issue with the Cintiq. :( Which is strange, since I hadn't changed anything about it, apart from the crashes that were caused by the new ATI CCC program.
For now, I'll be forced to work "blind" with the tablet function of the Cintiq, like a normal tablet on my primary monitor.
For shame!
Also, I'll likely write another long journal of random musings, opinions and stuff again tomorrow. There are some thing spooking through my head again :D

Random musings, opinions, and stuff! (long journal!)
General | Posted 14 years agoSince I'm bored at work right now, I'll just post whatever comes to mind over a timespan of... what, an hour? Maybe more.... Enjoy!
- god I'm disliking pop music so much right now! If it isn't monotone vocals, it's the status to which some of the artists are being propelled. We all know our favorite little punching back, JB? Stop profiling him as "the greatest musical legend". He is not. He has done -nothing- to revolutionize the music world whatsoever. Don't you dare put him next to the likes of Michael Jackson or Freddy Mercury.
We know well enough why he's popular. I think South Park said it best with their Jonas Brothers episode. "They make little girls giney's tickle. And when a little girl's giney tickles, I - MAKE - MONEY!".
- Duck Tales Moon theme, get out of my heaaaaaa- dooooo do do doo, do do dooo dodoooo!
- Holy fucking shit Ludo Lullabi, I already started loving you when I first read the manga version of Lanfeust, but now I found out about your other work, I love you even more. I'd be totally gay for this man, if only to absorb his delicous delicous talent. http://ludolullabi.blogspot.com/
- I'm kind of saddened that I'm mostly known for the ladies I draw. I hope I'll be known for my other work in the future, but I'm also fully aware that won't happen if I won't put a larger focus on it. Dalehan and Rumbottom is a story I want to work on, and make sure it'll have a fully fleshed out cast and storyline which I'm certain about from beginning to end. Yes, I'm already planning ahead to have it end, but it shouldn't discourage me to start working on it. I just need to find the drive again...
- I should show more interest in other people's work, other artists even. I won't ever be able to lay neccesary contacts to get my face out in the open if I keep shutting myself off like this.
- This sealant I'm using to seal off lock sensors with a sillicon-like glue smells like fucking vinegar! EEEEUGH! Incoming braindamage from the scent!
- I suck at writing stories, or meaningful dialogue... ;_;
- Getting compliments on my character background idea from our professional comic-artist teacher was fun! But on the other hand, he also had to laugh, something I wasn't entirely sure about myself since I wanted to mix the thought of a bizarre plot premise which is sort of funny in a way, with a more dramatic inevitability because of that premise.
Dalehan is a dog, plucked from the streets by the court magister and, along with other dogs, transformed into humans by this magister as an initial experiment to turn dogs into loyal soldiers and guardsmen to serve the kingdom. Soon after the transformation, he escaped and lived a live as a human thief, until the storyline picks up.
While constant "lawl, human acting like a dog!" jokes are to be expected, they'd be far and few between. The dramatic inevitability would be that, while human, he'd still age at the rate of a dog. So given his current age, he'd most likely die after 7 more years.
- Why is it that I can imagine my characters having Dragonforce songs being the best fitting ones? I know the lyrics are a bit corny, but damn I think they're still fun to listen to.
- Speaking of metal... I'm sorry people. But I do not care for Metallica.
Also, I do not know every group you know. My knowledge in music is limited at best. I'll also most likely start ignoring moments and conversations which I experience as "music nerdism". I do not care. I just don't.
-Blackwood. A comic. I fucking hate you.
I liked the artwork, mostly. I also hated it. Why? Because the backgrounds are nicely stylized and detailed, and the coloring is decent as well. So why do I hate it so?
Because the artist can't draw expressions for shit. It's a shame I can't find image samples online, but maybe for the better. I think I saw an impressive variation of 3 facial expressions on the main character! Amazing! Also... when you have a mix of American comic, manga and French BD in your style, it feels like it no longer knows what it really wants to be, at all. At least Ludo, who I linked before, got it right when mixing styles.
Characters? Didn't like them, none of them felt engaging to me. The main hero keeps whining like a bitch about his dark past, the monk sidekick he recruits at the end of the book keeps whining that the hero can't defeat the main antagonist. In a confusing plot point, he turns into some kind of... well, kinda cool looking angel, but I don't know what happens with him beyond that point..
There is a zombie child who joins at the end of the first book, but gets locked away at the beginning of the second, effectively being scrapped from the storyline apart from a short kidnapping scene. What was the point of her presence to begin with again?
Same goes from the female companion. She joins the group at the end of the first book for... no reason at all really, she just defects from the mercenary group she was with and joins the hero she was supposed to kill... and becomes useless for the rest of the storyline. Literally, she does -nothing-.
Storyline? A confusing mix of zombie hunter with a daaaark paaaast (spoiler, he raised his own parents from the dead.), and sort of roadtrip to the evil demon who's responsible for all the zombies that litter the countryside. The story feels incredibly shallow, just like the characters inhabiting it. And no... No! You're actually throwing in random poetic moments, inserting adaptations of HP Lovecraft poems? Are you fucking serious?
Stop pretending this is poetic. Stop pretending this is deep. The fact that the story by itself feels entirely uninteresting and shallow won't change when you try to give poetic meaning to the premise. This is, in my opinion, highly pretentious to boot.
Maybe me ranting about this is a shallow act on myself, also because I hate the thought I spent 30€ on these books because they were only available in hardcover, and I got lured by the first glimpses of pretty artwork I did see.. then got kicked in the scrotum by these books.
- Dragon Age 2 gets pretty bad reviews, from critics and players alike. But I still like it. I'm having fun. Isn't that what's most important? Am I being too forgiving? Sure, there's a lot of copy-pasting going on, that is an annoying point.. and the characters themselves aren't as interesting like they were in DA:O (come on... Alistair was one of those great side characters in every aspect, how could you top that?), but.. I'm having fun, that's what matters to me. Heck, I even started over because I didn't have a save available for act 1 to prevent... hm, spoiler from dying. Didn't want that, I hate to have party members die. Even if they won't appear for the rest of the game.
- I never played FF7, and I'm not intending to do so either. That's your nostalgia, not mine.
- Fecking lunch pass cheques, yeaaaaaay! *throws them into the air like they're bills of money*
- I love South Park, maybe a bit too much. I still keep watching episodes on SouthPark Studios on a daily basis, if only to have some background sound while playing WoW.
Speaking of WoW, feel free to poke me on EU-Earthen Ring sometime!
- Still loving TF2 after all these years, playing since it got released with the Orange Box. Best game deal ever? Yes I would think so! Speaking of which, I want a Fancy Fedora for the Spy!
I could trade for vintage Engineer cap, whoopie hat, master's yellow belt. Though, I usually keep the item set active for playing. ....... Yes, I main Spy.
- Stop fecking chewing on plastic, you nut! I have such a bad habit to bite on plastic spoons and break them between my teeth. I'm nervous like that, often.
- Ugh, need to lose weight... 73 kg right now, I want to lose at least 3 of that. If only to lose the hint of a double chin I'm starting to get. I also should sport, but I refuse to do anything that resembles competition at all. I just love having -me- time, doing my thing, my pace, with no one to tell me otherwise.
Did you read all of it? Good, because I have to get back to work now! I think I passed a 2 hour benchmark of random writing while doing administration work. XD

XD
Nostalgic Game Songs Meme - by Skidd
General | Posted 15 years agoJoining in the meme
skidd is kicking off.
Now.. I know for a fact that whenever someone mentions like.. a video game song they like, or the video game in general that I've played before.. I always like to talk about it and my experiences with it and memories with it! Of course my nostalgia is different from everyone elses. For instance...
I remember watching the Super Mario Bros Super Show when I was a kid.. and something I remember eatting was those cheetoh puff balls while watching.. I LOVE those memories of mine..
I am sure people can RELATE.. but not feel the same way I do about it...
SO ANYWAY...
This journal is made for THAT reason.. I KNOW that a lot of you guys like to talk about experiences and memories YOU'VE had.. and it's hard to stop talking about them once you start... so... I want you guys to list 3 (or less or more.. I dont have a limit) video game songs nostalgic to you and why you remember/like them so much. I am interested in hearing them.
If you could.. also link each song to a site so I can listen to them.. like youtube or something.
1. Mystic Quest
https://youtu.be/K5xZ8t9JPQc https://youtu.be/TIN4Ij3RYcg
Mystic Quest on the game boy (aka Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest) was the first RPG I ever played, back when the Gameboy was a big, fat, monochrome screen handheld. With a battle system mixing up elements from Zelda (top view) and RPG elements (choosing which stats you wish to raise), I had a lot of fun playing this one. And the intro music always made me soooo sad!
2. Chrono Trigger
https://youtu.be/J5FFDj7vH6E https://youtu.be/KpWRlU0Cg_Y
Chrono Trigger had a lot of great tunes, but I'll have to go with Frog's Theme, and World Revolution (I love the name alone). Frog was also easily one of my favorite characters, being the embodiment of knightly honor and duty. The Ye Ole English speak got a bit annoying at times in the original, but they removed that in the DS remake.
World Revolution... Well, it was the final bossfight, after the more dreary music of Lavos' memories, this one was just amazing to me. Fast paced, Plus Lavos looked awesome in it.
3. Star Fox: Lylatwars
https://youtu.be/0dQM2AfSM1I
Star Wolf. Need I say more? :D
4. Donkey Kong Country - King K. Rool battle theme
https://youtu.be/mQU7ml26JVM
The final battle! After retrieving your precious bananas, its time to take out the big man! The music starts out as silly as he looks. He's easy at first, the music matches nicely with the pace of the battle.. things get more serious, and then the bass kicks in... <3 Good memories of DKC, GOOD MEMORIES!
Shadowman
https://youtu.be/Kf__D_hDUVU
Creepy... ominous... Shadowman was a weird, weird game, that inspired me nonetheless. It had a genuinely creepy, dark atmosphere. Twisted, perverted characters (serial killers).. Possibly one of the first "dark" games I ever played.

Happy Birthday, turned 25! OHMYGAWD
General | Posted 15 years agohttps://youtu.be/bG5QBuKAlZg
How to properly pronounce ohmygawd!
So yeah, turned 25 today. Nothing big planned, despite it being a silver birthday. No friends to hang out with, and got evening class right after coming home from work, so... it'll be a normal evening, minus the cake I had to bring to work and class. :p
I like to think that Blizzard already hit some modifiers on my WoW character for my birthday, since I took my worgen rogue Dalehan (say /hi on EU- Earthen Ring!) to three Magister Terrace heroic solo runs, and in the 3 runs I did with him, I got the transformation orb, the pet, and the mount from Kael'thas. That's a lot of luck, unless they upped the droprate significantly!
....too bad my worgen looks a bit crummy with the blood elf transformation, he has the spikey DBZ hairstyle and semi-plain face. He's even blonde with it!
Anyway, gotten in the mood to draw Alizee more often again, maybe do some paired images with Nibby, so... expect a little more art from me this year!

Comic class - change of plans
General | Posted 15 years agoFor those who remember, I've started my second year in evening schooling for the Comic Author course.
Now, we are required to work on a 5 page project throughout the year which we'll eventually present to a jury. We had to work with "zombie" as our theme, and expand upon that as narrow or as broad as we can think of it.
Seeing the comic page from last year, my teacher said I should expand upon that and hand in a segment from the story I want to work on, namely Dalehan and Rumbottom. But, here lies the problem again that I'm really not good in writing a well-thought out plotline that should encompass several albums, split up in several sub-stories. I can only think up "scenes", but there's no proper narrative that combines them.
Combine that with the page I posted a while ago. there really isn't anything going to happen in the 5 pages I'm required to draw, nothing worthwhile that'll make you eager to read more.
I'm also not sure what I'll do with the timeline for my story. Right now it seems that I want to start somewhere in the middle, and have the history of the characters told through backflash. It isn't neccesarily bad, I know plenty of manga and anime tend to do this.... mostly when someone dies. But, to me, it brings the progressing story to a halt to provide background information on a character who won't matter any longer. My two cents ofcourse, but I just don't like it.
Anyway, rambling aside, I've decided to put that project on hold for a 5 page short story that I wrote down last year, still in line with the overall theme of "zombie".
A short story about a washed up superhero who got into a slump when -everyone- became a superhero or villian, making his old generation of superheroes obsolete.
He became a bitter old man, and traded in his cape to work as a plumber, because no matter how 'super' the people became, they were incapable of completing simple household tasks.
During one such job, he is confronted with the child of a superhero couple, who had always admired our plumber, reading his old comics and watching the TV shows.
Because of this, he realizes that him being "normal" makes his unique among the superheroes, a hero among heroes so to say, and picks up his cape once more as The Plumber.
It's a bit simple, but it's solid in my eyes. We learn enough about him in those 5 pages and there's a conclusive ending.
But I'd still like to write a proper storyline for Dalehan and Rumbottom..

General | Posted 15 years agoThe song that'll always stick to me.
General | Posted 15 years agoCovering up the previous post I made during a moment of weakness, I'll post a song that stuck to me since.. well, the first time I heard it, many years ago when I still frequented Newgrounds.
Some fellow started a short-lived animation project where a blue alien would review games or something, using this song as its theme music.
With just that one tune, I fell in love with the band Rage, and I'm still sticking to it after all those years. Ofcourse I do love many more of their songs, but this one will always be the one that changed things for me.

What's YOUR song? Go around and spread the music!
FORCED MEME AWAY! XD

Question: sharing my artist name with my character's name..
General | Posted 15 years agoRight, just because this has been bugging me again recently after reading an internet article / wiki page I won't be mentioning:
Does the fact that I use the name Dalehan across the net, on forums and games as the names of my ingame characters, while simultaneously trying to write/draw a story where a character shares the exact same name, make it feel like said character is a possible self-insert of myself?
Wish-fulfillment? A channel to voice my public opinions and political viewpoints?
... yes I'm quite aware I'd first need to make the story before anyone can judge, I want to avoid the "self-insert" criticism. Or can I rest assured that a simple name won't put me in that bracket?

WoW - Worgen mounts and female worgen revelations
General | Posted 15 years agoNew tidbits of WoW info has appeared on MMOChampion, giving us some... big news on the fact why we still haven't seen a worgen mount ingame.
Copy-pasted from MMOChampion:
This is now official, Worgens won't get their own mounts, they will get a mount racial spell instead.
* Running Wild - Drop to all fours to run as fast as a wild animal.

Ultimately, we feel Running Wild fits very well with the nature of the worgen race. Rather than getting a physical mount, they get down and sprint on all fours. When you're playing a worgen, it just feels awesome.;)
This is... pretty big, and sounds awesome! A little sad the Gilnean worgen will not be bringing us monstrous boar mounts for all (I WANT A BOAR MOuNT!), but for race of pseudo-werewolves, this is a sweet deal. It's also implemented differently from the original Tauren Plainstunning from the vanilla beta builds, which had a weird mechanism where you effectively needed to run for 10 seconds until the increased speed kicked in, and would disappear if you bumped into something or got into combat.
Second, female worgen finally got their finished models and will FINALLY be available ingame in the beta. Their design has been overhauled quite extensively to share the vicious model of the males.

Should I do a tutorial on something?
General | Posted 15 years agoIf so, what do I do that's notable enough to warrant one? :p
Or pick an image from my gallery and ask "how did you do this", if people are keen to know. I need to do something worthwhile so maybe a tutorial could be just that. ^^;

Gfffsssshhhhh--- dead graphic card
General | Posted 15 years agoYeah, so... last night, just out of the blue, my graphic card decided to give up and turn my screen into a colorful mosaïc. I don't know what caused it or if it was just general hardware failure and/or baysplosion, but for now I have to depend on my OEM graphic card that came with the PC.
It's highly unsuitable to play games WELL, but it should suffice for drawing, at least.
Luckily, that card died at an opportune time, since my 2 year warranty is about to expire in about a month and a half. Still, it's utter shit that this had to happen, I really hope the purchase of the Cintiq was the cause :(
Are there known problems if a single graphic card has to render two screens with two different resolutions, by chance?

FIXED: Need help on Cintiq 21UX and Photoshop CS4
General | Posted 15 years agoIssue is fixed now, turns out a clean reinstall of the Cintiq's driver software fixed it.
Right, got a bit of an issue with the Cintiq that's disabling me from using Photoshop CS4 at all.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Right now, the Cintiq is set up as a second screen, extending my desktop between these two screens.
When I open up Photoshop and drag the application to the Cintiq screen to work there, everything's fine. But the moment I put my pen down on the screen in the Photoshop app, the cursor disappears and switches to the main desktop screen, while a second click switches back to the Cintiq.
It looks as if clicking and/or in Photoshop swaps between my main desktop and the tablet, an issue I'm not having in Painttool SAI.
I'm not entirely sure how to properly explain it, but if there are folks out there who recognize the problem/ heard of it before and know a way to fix it, I'd appreciate the help =<

So I ordered a Cintiq 21UX
General | Posted 15 years agoMy Intuos3 tablet, while I love it, could use a bit of a replacement, now that the coating has been scratched and roughened up in several places.
I'll probably pass it down to my cousin, who could use it for his college education.
But yeah, ordered a Cintiq. Went for the big one immediately, since I figured I never really splurge for myself, and if I really want it, I might as well get the best of the two. The store had several Cintiq12WX in stock, but for some reason I still felt like the screen was a tad small for my liking.
Still got to wait for it for more than a week, but once it's there.. we'll have to see what happens eh!
