Price Changes and Cheaper commissions
Posted 13 years ago Well Its been a while and the commissions have been slow. I enjoy doing commissions, so I have decided to try a new pricing structure. Broken down it is quite simple
Sketches: $5: This is a quick sketch done in pencil or a cleaned up rough on digital, like any other digital sketch. This is the starting point.
Inking/Line Art: (+10) $15: This will be a cleaned up line art or ink. Simple Black and white.
Color (+ 10 Flat Color/ +15 Full color) $25: Flat color/$30 Full Color: This is the most time consuming and the area that gives me the most headaches. But I will give it my best shot.
Additional Characters: +5/Char
Background: Optional. No charge (For now)
I am open to thoughts on this, and maybe any ideas on how to improve the structure. Aailable for commissions and Readings. So spread the word and I may knock some $$ of the price of your commission

Posted 13 years agoYep, It is now officially my birthday. And what a way to start it off. Get a pet salamander I may not be able to keep, Try and stream and only 1 person shows up. And I cant draw because I apparently LOST my damn stylus. So will more than likely have to get a whole new tablet JUST to get a new stylus. Not waiting 8-10 weeks trying to order one.
I hope this isnt how the REST of my birthday is going to go. If so, I think I will just sleep through today.
Anyways, Still taking discounted commissions in order to work up enough for a Bad Dragon Flop. Maybe if I know its shipping, it will help me feel a little better.

Quite simply put, I do Both Tarot card readings AND Artwork. And so I decided to combine the two. Pay for a Reading session, Get a free commission. Pay for a commission, and get a free reading to redeem when you wish (I will write your name down so I dont forget :D) so It works in reverse as well. :)

Requests will give me something to do, And Trades to help me interact more and learn from other artists :) As Always I am available for Commissions. But I am going to make a special "journal" as a request bin. Not a guarantee people will always see thier pictures, but there is a good chance I might try it out :)
Commissions are as follows: CURRENT COMMISSION PRICES:
As always, I do not collect payment untill the work is done and the customer is happy. I act in good faith. My hope is that one day I could make it onto the trusted artist list. The prices are based on suggestions from people who have seen my artwork and suggested the pricing.

Draw Porn Or GTFO? Is that all streaming is?
Posted 13 years agoI dont know if Its just me, or is that the trend I am seeing. Because It Certainly FEELS that way.
I try my best to keep streams interesting, I try and make things interesting. But exceot for a very few number of viewers. My streams are often, if not always, dead.
People have told me to maybe prepare in advance, which i have tried doing. But still no luck. And the strongest feeling I get, overwhelmingly so, is this:
If you are not drawing mega-orgies and hardcore pornz, No one is interested. .
So much for trying to be entertaining when the furriez want thier pornz. Keep in mind I am not bashing those who draw adult artwork. I am just saying it feels like if someone tries to stream anything other than cocks, tits, and asses drizzled in 'uice' they are in a sense shunned. Wh o knows, maybe I am just a fucked-up fox.
If you are drawing porn, people flock to the stream. If Not, then its "GTFO, no one cares"
Maybe I am just being a little too sensitive. But for now I may as well just STOP my daily streams. Because after wasting a whole day sitting around streaming. Its clear I am just not wanted. So for the time being, I am conssidering my daily streaming SHUT DOWN!
I will still stream for tarot card readings, But the person will have to set up a time/date when they are free (as in the stream and readings will be in a sense...by appointment only). I will turn on the stream at the arranged time.
In the meantime, Maybe I will work on drawing more porn. (Haha. Get the joke?)

So I had an idea and went out to pick up a small notepad. This notepad is not much bigger than a credit/debit card. So I thought i would break it in by offering pocket sketches, pocket pics. Training and controlling my arm by working in a small space.
SO THE FIRST 6 people to comment will get the first 6 pages free please provide link to a ref as well thnx
After that, If this works it will be $2-$3 for pocket pics depending on the complexity of the chara.

Able to see a guardian angel, I depicted her mother to a T, and Even perfectly described a dream that she had the night prior.
So apparently to Her, I passed, I am a confirmed psychic. I lost track of time, it only felt like about 5 minutes, but she said I had filled over 2 pages with information, and I was 'under' for about 20-30 minutes.
It was amazing, and at the same time, GOD IT KILLED ME!
Not in the physical sense, But by the time I was done, I was completely drained, I had to struggle just to stand up and had to lean against a cart for support. So According to her I am a confirmed psychic.

According to Rick santorum, Teh Pron is a "Pandemic" and in one of his more hillarious speeches, says that "The Obama administration puts pornographers above children"
“I am concerned about the widespread distribution of illegal obscene pornography and its profound effects on our culture,” says Senator Santorum. “For many decades, the American public has actively petitioned the United States Congress for laws prohibiting distribution of hard-core adult pornography. Congress has responded.Current federal ‘obscenity’ laws prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier. Rick Santorum believes that federal obscenity laws should be vigorously enforced.”
I swear, How many supporters you think this will cause him to lose? Never mind the fact that its the Bible Belt that consumes THE MOST porn despite thier touting.

If you already have a commission, these prices are going foreward, NOT retroactive.
CURRENT COMMISSION PRICES:
Sketches (Pencil or preliminary sketches): $10
Lineart: (Inking or Lineart): $15
Flat Color (Flat Color, No shading): $18
Full Color (Shaded): $20
Background: +$5 (No charge If Background attempt fails)
Additional characters: +$3/Char
As always, I do not collect payment untill the work is done and the customer is happy. I act in good faith. My hope is that one day I could make it onto the trusted artist list.

Posted 13 years agoWas searching around the interwebs, looking out one video after another, and came across a curious trailer for a game called "Skullgirls" and I have to say from what I saw it looks really good. Its supposed to be coming out Early 2012. an old fashioned 2D fighter with storylines, customizeable characters (I think) But either way I thought I would just show off the good stuff I found. Sugar is the new Booze, Scentists say Tax/Regulate it!

This is what scientists and researchers are bitching about now? They say because of the spread obesity, people unwilling to take responsibility for thier OWN actions. Now researchers are pushing Lawmakers to Tax and Regulate "SUGAR" the same way they tax and regulate things like Tobacco and Alcohol.
So because someone cant say "I got fat because I have donuts and sugarbombs for all 3 meals" and instead blames it on the EVIL sugarcane. The rest of us have to suffer.

Found this story which has some interesting little tidbits, But I am not going to be giving up my sugar anytime soon. I have a high metabolism myself so Ineed alot of calories, I tend to burn off food quickly.
