So...I've been looking at my schedule for next few months and came across a giant blank known as August...during this month of "bleh", I will not only have no school for the month but also all the 1 semester exchange students will be heading home too, leaving me with a whole bunch of nothing to do and no one to do it with (ok...so I think...2 other students are staying).

So my question to you is: what are all you guys (and I suppose girls too) up to that month? I need possibly ideas on what to do.

Also! this is somewhat of an official invite to friends who would like to come and visit Japan, you could stay with me of course so you dont need to worry about where to stay and paying for it, just flight and spending money. If anyone would actually like to come visit me, take in the sights and all that other stuff, please let me know! I would love to have some people stay for however long you want to.

Please let me know on what you guys think, August is gonna be painfully boring and lonely for me T_T *is sad puppy*

So...I found that one great thing to keep me distracted (and to keep me up to the early morning) is watching watching live streams of starcraft 2 matches and, when they're on, tournaments like GSL/GSTL. It's been good and I've been learning more about the players and etc. It's actually been making me want to do some casting of some matches (would love to cast a live pro match). I've actually also though (and looked into) possibly going to Seoul, Korea to watch the GSL, even more tempted cause no fee and no reservation (and cause I'm white if I go there with a sign I could probably get on camera :P). I've actually quickly thought out the costs and thought up a quick budget for the trip...the more I watch and think about it the more this is becoming a real possibility, who knows...hope I go and also hope I could be a good/possibly well known caster.

So I've been in Japan now for around 2 weeks, things are going good but I'm kinda missing my friends back at home. I'm not all sad here it's just that lots of the exchange students just stick to their room most of the time, only time most of us get together at once is when we have events or something like that.

School just started (just Thursday and Friday) so I might be getting more homework thus a bit more busy which could be a good thing or bad, who knows right now. All I do know is that it's kinda getting lonely, even if I've sent invites to some of the students here...no one really comes over. Guess I'm just used to being the friend that goes to people's houses and not have them over to mine, something to get used to and work on I suppose.

If any friends back at home were actually interested in coming over to visit, please let me know cause I'd love to have some people come see me and show them around.

Alright so I figured since I'm now half way across the world I might as well try writing my first journal on here...

So, a few days ago I moved to Osaka for school, I'm here for a year and I've got a bunch of mixed feelings about it. First day here was pretty rough, not much happened and really missed everyone. Right now I got 2 weeks before school actually starts so its kinda just go along with the days so it can be really boring however I think once I actually start going to school it will be better and I'll be more busy thus less time doing nothing and missing home.

It does kinda suck not having friends right now and now being about to fully understand everyone here but I hope that it changes soon and I get better at Japanese fast. Bit of a shameless plug but if anyone knows people out here or sites or something where I can meet a few people to talk to that would be amazing cause I'm kinda getting down being alone here.

Well I suppose this is it for my first entry, nothing much to really talk about right now but who knows about later on.
