What it says above - changed my display name now that the feature's there for everyone. I'll probably change it again in future. Not super attached to the one I picked now, but the old one was just completely random and it'd be nice to have something that points at least a little bit to how I present myself online.

I'm not sure on the exact distinction, but seeing as all my work features adult characters I'm assuming the thing to do will be to just turn all of my 'Baby Fur' uploads into ABDL uploads instead. That'll take a little bit, but I'll start the process soon unless there's some reason I should keep some of them under the previous label.

First off, I have no plans to leave FurAffinity unless I'm forced off, which (fingers crossed) I doubt will happen. Seems like text content generally gets more benefit of the doubt than art, so it probably wouldn't be for policy reasons, but with recent incidents such as people being banned for "not being a good match for the community", I don't want to take any risks.

You can find me at reallygrossstuff on Tumblr or AO3 - everything that's been uploaded here is cross-posted to both of those sites. I'm not sure where else it'd be a good idea to post my stuff or try to connect with people.

To be honest for a second, this all sucks. The way mods are treating ABDL content, perma-banning people even without policy violations, and the rumors that this is all happening to make the site more marketable... it's been sapping a lot of the enjoyment I get out of the art and community here. Not to mention all of this happening at a time where I'm trying to engage more with the furry community and make new friends there, and trying to build confidence to upload art as well as fic.

I don't know if I'll be able to do any of that if FA keeps going the way it is, and it's a really depressing thought. So much social media is a numbers game, or actively hostile to queer people, and I can't imagine feeling confident putting myself out there on any of those platforms. Hell, with what's already been happening, I don't know if I'm confident putting myself out there on this platform. Seeing people whose work I respect feel scared to upload new things, or actively purging their accounts because of these policy decisions, is a punch to the gut that keeps happening every day.

Sorry for such a downer of a journal. tldr: no plans to leave this site unless I'm forced off, but find me elsewhere too. New content coming eventually. Take care of each other.

I experimented with running a CYOA late last year on a second Tumblr, and while that one stalled due to some organisational issues it was a lot of fun, so I'm doing another one! The focal character this time will be Jake, but things like the scenario or even the main fetish are still up in the air.

Go to the Tumblr here to vote for the fetish. If you're reading this in the future, after about a week the pinned post will instead be a poll for the specific scenario (which I'm currently accepting suggestions for via inbox), and after that the pinned post will be the jumping-off post for the entire text adventure to come.

At some point in the future I'll look at getting the adventure into a format that can be shared on Furaffinity, but that may end up not being possible, sorry. Make sure to check in on the blog so you don't miss anything!

Just thought I'd give a mention that I'm open for Deltarune requests specifically over on my Tumblr. Technically the ask box is open to everything all the time but I'm specifically trying to write for a different fandom right now to chase out my writer's block.

Had some personal problems this week that mean I haven't finished (or even really started) my intended Valentine's upload. I don't want to be harsh on myself about finishing late seasonal uploads, so I'll probably just drop this idea and move on with the plan of having something different for this time next week.

So clearly the one story a day thing hasn't been happening, sorry. I think it was a bit of an ambitious goal, especially when there's some stuff I need to take care of IRL right now. So this is me realising that on top of me being extremely inactive here, I haven't made a journal update in over a year at this point. I'm going to keep this short and hopefully cover the basics of what's going on, but if you have questions about something in particular, feel free to ask.

So what's been going on?
Long story short, I took a bunch of impromptu writing hiatuses because of poor motivation, meaning I wrote nothing at all for a period of about a year, and very little for a year after that. The past month or two I've been trying to get more active, but it's a slow process.

If you've been writing for a month, why has this page been dead?
Because as part of motivating myself to write every day, I've reduced the length of my average request fill, from 1000 words to 500. Since these stories are shorter, and uploading stories to FA is a real chore (especially if you make thumbnails for your stories), I've been keeping these shorter pieces to my Tumblr.

Will those stories ever come to Furaffinity or AO3?
That's actually something I wanted to ask about! Right now my plan is to upload the requests in batches once I have five of a specific type, but is that what people would prefer? Would you rather wait until there are five WG, ABDL or TF stories, or have me upload everything I wrote in a week instead? Let me know!

What's your schedule?
Nothing's set in stone, but my goal moving forward is to have a request up on my Tumblr, https://reallygrossstuff.tumblr.com/ and to have a story up about every week on all of my platforms. Here's hoping that works out! (Edit from the future, it's not working out right now, but I'll keep working on it!)

I still have April Fool's requests to do, but would anyone be interested if I put up something for John's birthday? I might try to do it for other characters I like a lot, or if someone requests something for a specific character's birthday, but this is the Homestuck Day, so I feel like I should do something by default.
