But I just realized how every character I've ever written has some aspect about them that is me, or what I want to be me... whether it is furry or otherwise. Like, in the book I just finished writing, Dammyr was my more cynical/idealist romantic side. Terra was my happy-go-lucky glass half full side (very small piece of me, actually) and then James was my screw everything, I'll do what I want piece. If anyone noticed those differences, I commend you, because those differences were a bit subtle, I found. Oh, and another thing on that front... every reaction I put in that story would be a reaction I would have, therefore giving it a more authentic feel, would you not agree?

I have decided that the stories for each of the characters I have outlined here would all benefit from their own novel, set at the same time, so it ends with the same end, and then I shall write a sequel to those. My only question is, of the characters I have done, who would you prefer to see brought to full attention first? Personally, I think Ethell would be the prime candidate for the first story, just because he's that Badass.

I sent in my short story to Anthro magazine this morning, and now I will wait for a few weeks before I get my reply. *crosses fingers* I hope that I pull it off, because if I do, I will be a very happy boy :p I will go pray to those that I pray to (If anyone cares to know, I pray to the norse gods [viking for all intents and purposes])

I've worked my A** off at this for 74 days now, 75 tomorrow. I can't believe that I'm just one scene away from completion... this is a record breaking book for me, It's my first real romance story I've actually done, It holds the record for being the fasted completed book of my set, and it is the first story I've written to bear chapters with more than 4000 words each ^^
Well, I should finish typing this up, and then finish up the story ASAP

P.S. I've written 7000 plus words today alone 13000 in the past two days :P

Because of that gnawing feeling I've had for the past few months have come to a close. I just had to write the last chapter of my book RIGHT NOW, but I have three more chapters to finish, then the epilogue. I have to say, this chapter was my most impressive to date, with 6775 words total for that chapter (I know, scary... even for me.)
I can say, it made me cry for numerous reasons. Both happy, and sad.
I almost always listen to music when I'm writing, and generally the music that I'm listening to influences what write, or it solidifies what I am writing. For the last chapter I was listening to  foxamoore's Rain http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5895600/

Hurray for me! I finally have 1000 page views ^^ I just can't believe it. Now, I just wished most of that were for my work, but that is not the case. most of it was for watching other people.

I'm thinking I want to send in one of my short stories to Anthro Magazine. But, I am not sure which, on multiple grounds.
A. I'm not sure which one would be the best to input
B. If I submit one, I'll have to delete it from FA for two months following the release of the magazine issue
and C. I want to know which one you all think is the best ^^

And for some strange reason, I honestly can't seem to care less... I know it should be time for family and friends to come together and celebrate, but that's not what it is anymore... It's just a way for people to get what they want... especially children... If I were living on my own right now, yes, I would give presents, but I would also invite my neighbors over to dinner for all 12 days of my yule. A feast for twelve days to be shared by the village (As the old Germanics did it) and a present for each day as well (oh oh, what does that sound like?)

Well, Anyone that has been reading my furry story, I need your opinion. I'm thinking that I might split the story into two halves, and sell both halves as novellas. Obviously I wouldn't sell each half for the same price that I would if I waited to finish the whole thing, but I think it's a good idea. I've already finished the first part, as any of you readers can tell, and I did make a deadline of having something finished by Christmas. But, yeah, just want some input on what you all think of splitting the book into 2 novellas

Yup, As We Are is halfway done. I'm a bit behind on my original plan, but where it's sitting now is fine. I've completed part 1 today, including the interlude, and now I work on part 2, which will be slightly difficult, because of it's nature. The first part was all lovey and dovey, except for the chapter that I have just completed (Breaking down my own censorship barrier, because sometimes you just need to use the language to convey something properly) And the second half will have a lot of innuendoes, and even direct reference, but it's not going to go into the 18+ range. It may have brief description of action, but the act is going to be relatively up to the reader to fill in.
And that's all for now, just wanted to fill you all in. (The whole part one will be for download in my scraps if you want to take a read of it.)

Oh, and if anyone of my watchers, who does art would like to take a crack at say... a cover, if you wanted, I'd be glad to see what you do. ^^

Well... I am beginning to hate life, and it's dramas that can be avoided with ease, but people just can't seem to keep away from it, and like dragging me into it... I'm just getting sick of it. I usually try to help people out of their problems, but when no one seems to listen... I think I'll just keep myself to my own devices from now on...
I know no one here really cares about my personal life, but I'm going to isolate myself from even my best friends... in school, hide myself in the corner of a stairwell and read, or write... If anyone has played ff8 I'm going to be more like squall IRL, let's see if that does me any good...

I am so sorely tempted to write the last chapter of my book now... Just because I know exactly how it's going to end, and it'll be quite the surprise. I don't know if I should write the last chapter now, or later... want some input. :p

And,  littlfox360 I'm still waiting for the final pieces of info to start writing your story. Not meaning to rush you or anything.

Gah, It is so annoying when you think too hard about something, do a little research on it, and you learn you're not as you thought you were... for example, I used to consider myself Bisexual, when I figured I liked both men and women, and then I did some research on Pansexuality, which brought me around to that, which I thought I was for a few months, but then my dad made a comment to me, when I made a comment to him. I had told him I had absolutely NO care for any form of sex, and he said he was worried about that. So I did a little bit of research on Asexuality, and now that I look at it, I am, or at least I am and have been for the past half year now. I just hate it when you think you understand yourself enough to categorize one aspect, but then you go and learn something new which changes how you view yourself... And its happened to me countless times after joining the furry fandom... not saying its the cause, but I just happened to join it at the wrong time in my life, and now I'm blaming it for me :p. But, I guess I have to suck it up and deal, no matter how hard it is...

Hmm... I am just curious as to why everyone here has become furries in the first place? I am merely curious. I know why I am, and how I came here, but no single person is the same.
Ha, and to start off, I will say why I came to be. Well, I was always into Bugs Bunny and the old Disney movies that had both anthropomorphic animals, and feral animals. I always knew in my head I was furry, just took too long for me to realize it. I'll admit, I even had a fursona when I was 6...(if you could believe it, A dragon) I can say I've grown from your base furry, into more complex (I used to only like the characters themselves, but now I've grown to enjoy some of the (I could say finer, but that isn't entirely so) intricacies.

But, away from me, why are you guys in this fandom?

OK, to start this off, I'd like to say this in regards to my art class... What the hell, it hasn't even been a month since I've started grade ten, and you're giving me these projects that quite a few people can't do without the training. (the class has been given an assignment where we need to do an ACCURATE self portrait, no tonal work, just contour lines) And this is after 1 MONTH of school. and next week, I believe we're doing another portrait, this time from the side! GAH, I just want to tear my hair out because of the work! Sure, I can see where its testing my skills, but, 1 MONTH! Eh, well, that rant is over, now onto something a bit more airy

Well, just looking at it this way, the earth will have to end at some point, just how is what we are trying to figure out... But I personally believe that the Germanic Tribes of long ago had it right. Just think about what they know as Ragnarok... It begins with natural disasters going rampant, which they have been getting more frequent as of late, if you haven't noticed. And near the end of Ragnarok, the world will be flooded over, which at the rate we're going, the polar icecaps will melt and coat the earth in water within the next billion years. Just think, does what I just said make sense? Is there logic to my madness? I'm not saying that the world will end, but, my logic makes sense, does it not? And its not like I'm giving a date like the moronic dots who think they can even guess a day that will change the world like that, I'm just stating that it is coming... slow, but coming.

hurray, I have 500 pageviews at the time of this journal, I feel so please with myself.
Well, on another note, my writing has gone really smoothly, I am now about to work on chapter 19 of my book, and I have another writing project in the making, which was inspired by Phantasy Star Portable 2, and the music from this talented person  DezNatasMoody hopefully you'll see the first chapter up and running soon. I can say that project will probably be my furriest outside of my short stories.

I just went through the first day of my sophomore year, and hell, it was annoying... paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, and don't forget the paperwork...
well, at least some writing can take my mind off this, or some reading for that matter (something I haven't done really all summer) Crime and punishment here I come, or perhaps even more animal art, (I'm loving the fishees right now, so there might be some fish art on my gallery soon, if i do any.)

Right now, I'm beginning to see that some ideas I have for my current project, are a bit... I don't know... Questionable. and by questionable, I mean bordering on ethics. I have human characters in relationships with complete animals, which is a bit... off in the way of morals. sure, I explain it (shifters, which are half human half animal), and give it true reason, but, it is still a bit questionable. If you wish to agree that what I am doing is wrong, go right ahead and say so, if you disagree that what I'm doing is wrong, go right ahead to. But, no matter how people say it is, it will go on. this should be taken as a warning, if you think its questionable, I suggest not going any further in my current project, , if you don't find it questionable, go right ahead and keep on reading.

Now this was one big rant, but, I just wanted to give my readers warning, just so that I didn't offend you.
