I'm back in action!
General | Posted 14 years agoWriters block gone! hurray for me! And now I'm back with more fire than I had before. I'm writing like wildfire, and nothing will stop me, (well, things are, and will, like school soon, gah) And I'm ready to just rip through chapters of my story with ease, so no worries for anyone that has been following my brilliant red-headed hero, Robert.
And on another unrelated note... I now truly know what it feels like to be at a wedding, all the love in the air just rubs off on you, ya know?
Well, Adieu mon amis

Another "Not again" moment...
General | Posted 14 years agoGah, I hate it when I get writers block, it's probably the worst illness a writer like I could get!!! Its pure horrible, knowing what you want to write, but unsure how to write it... GAH!!! so, soon, I might run out of chapters to upload for "The Soul Within" which I have five chapters left until I'm out, unless my writer's block goes away... so, in the meantime, I'll work on something else, which I'll save to show you all later, if I ever get around to showing you :P

ugh, not again
General | Posted 14 years agoYet another story idea popped into my head, but just a basis. The idea is that after the fall of man, birds have come to rule as the dominant species, but each group of birds have entirely different views on how the world should be ruled. The birds of prey look upon things and judge with an iron talon, the parrots rule with grace and understanding, while the other birds don't want to rule, but have everyone of equal standing. and the beasts (land creatures), which have factions of their own, try and rebel against the bird's reign.
I'll be working out the rest of this later, and might have a plan up and running within the next few weeks if everything comes to me well.
Well, I bid thee adieu, my friends

changing my fursona species... a second time
General | Posted 14 years agono one knew about my first change, but now people will know of my second. (my first fursona was a feral green dragon for those that want to know.)
well, now I am a gold & blue macaw, such lovely birds those. I've always loved macaws, but after watching Rio, I've changed my decision on my favourite creature yet again, it'll change a bit in the future, maybe even to the point of unnecessary.
now that that's off my chest, have a great day everyone :D

Birthday tomorrow... YAYS
General | Posted 14 years agoyup, tomorrow be me birthday, another year subtracted from my life, but another year closer to being able to do as i wish, when i wish. Tomorrow, i turn fifteen... what a lovely number, well rounded.
At a loss for ideas...
General | Posted 14 years agoI recently had an idea concerning my 'The Soul Within' Novel, and something I intend to implement. Those that have been following the story know about the summoners (for those that don't know; people who have the ability to summon creatures from summonstones, whether the creature is real or fictive)
Well, this new idea concerns the summoners, the idea was brought on by recently watching Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh! The idea is to have summoner duels, where two summoners take ten of their summonstones and implement them in a duel where each person summons a creature and attempts to kill the opposing summon.
My problem though, is that I have no ideas for any of the fictitious creatures I could use. I don't want to use creatures that have been established so many times before, like the dragon or phoenix or any of those famous legends. I was hoping someone could give me some ideas, or even a whole creature if you feel up to it.

Two stories being uploaded from today.
General | Posted 14 years agoI will be uploading my work in progress (The Soul Within) every Wednesday unless I have nothing to upload. And I will be uploading my already finished work 'A Dragon Born' every Friday. The latter I would really love some input on, because I've been told by the publisher I sent that book to, It needed some heavy edits.
Finally fixed one of my computers
General | Posted 14 years agoMy writing laptop has had internet issues for the past year, but now i fixed it, so there will definitely be more updates from me, now that I'm using my writing laptop.
I don't know why, but I'm in an odd writing rut
General | Posted 14 years agoI'm trying to find cliches that are often found in epic fantasy (dragons, elves, dwarves, etc...) Just so i can avoid them. But everywhere I look, i can never find something that's as extensive as I want. I want to know every single cliche that bothers people that read fantasy on a regular basis. There are some that are just plain obvious, that tends to annoy even me (the guy who will read almost anything given to him) example: the farmboy who learns that he is destined to save the world and become king, or any variant of the chosen-one prophecy. Are there any that you guys find that i could be told, as the story i'm writing, and hoping to avoid massive cliches i hope to publish someday.
Any cliche would do.
Any cliche would do.
School's out!!!
General | Posted 14 years agoi just can't believe its already summer... it been only a week since last summer, or at least thats how it feels :p But, now that i have the summer open to me, i'll be writing a lot more, hehe, i've even got a new story idea that i've been sifting through trying to plan out all the characters and plot (Something i have never done and succeeded at before lol) all this means is that there should be a bit more action on my page.
And on the note of my exams... I know i got at least 70% on each one, minus french maybe, but thats only because i didn't have then time to finish that one up XD.
well, this summer promises to be good, and i hope you all have a good one :D

Finally, classes are over
General | Posted 14 years agowell, for this year at least for me. I still have my exams to go through, but those are easy as hell, no problem for me at all, considering last semester i did my exams, no studying except for in class stuff, and i passed with minimum A average on all my exams, minus my phys-ed (damned physical education... i love you but you work me too hard :P) but, yes, only a short while and then i'm out of school for summer... what to do, what to do? hmm?

more randomness... my hands hurt!!!
General | Posted 14 years agoIts a miracle when a tree collapses right by a house, or a cottage, with things around it, and nothing is damaged at all. I got stuck today clearing out an area by my cottage where a decent sized tree came down during a storm we had recently. I had to use a hatchet to cut it which caused my hands to become blistered. And it hurts like hell. sure, the work was fun, but the aftermath was painful. I actually almost sent myself to the hospital because i missed a swing on a branch... the hatchet came down and missed my leg by about half an inch. Thank god for my quick reflexes (quick, like a fox, ironically) But, yes, nature has a way of telling us to piss off, and we have to clean up the mess, which tends to cause pain, mainly in my hands :P

General | Posted 14 years agoI have never felt more insignificant in my life!!! Today in science class i was pleased to learn that even at the speed of light, it would take over 100 billion years to reach the perceived end of the universe (perceived being the end of all we can see) makes me think that we humans are nothing but dust in the greater picture.
I is writing a furry/feral anthology.
General | Posted 14 years agoYes. I am writing a furry/feral anthology that I hope to get published sometime when it is done. My only problem is a lack of story ideas. and so far, i have 1 feral story finished, and two furry stories in the process of being made. I've had one story idea come to me while i was watching the matrix yesterday, but i don't know how i'm going to work that one. I really hope someone can give me some ideas, and if you do, i'll be sure to show you the work that comes of it, if it ever gets completed
stencil prints ^^
General | Posted 14 years agoI is making stencil prints recently, and well, i'm at a loss for some ideas, i have one stencil finished though, a wolf silhouette on a yellowy moon. anyone can give me ideas, or even request something as long as its not too difficult, and if you do make a request, free of charge, and will not be at the quality of professionals, but still done to the best of my ability
so many ideas, so little time :(
General | Posted 14 years agoI've been having an overload of book ideas over the past week, but i will never be able to work on them all... its depressing really, to get an idea in your head, then another, then another... its hard to pick only one, you know? but i did pick one that looked promising... its about a prince who was born into a family of mixed origin (this takes place in a fictional world) he's both, what i like to call, a shifter (someone who can morph between a chosen animal at will, and back again) and a summoner (someone who uses energy crystals to summon creatures, animals or otherwise)
Please tell me what you think of this idea, as i will be working on it quite a bit, and i hope i could get some people to read it through FA. I hope it doesn't flop so that when i'm updating, i don't drop it and no one ever sees the rest of it lol

Writing another novel ^^
General | Posted 14 years agoI recently came to the realization that i needed to write a story for me and my furcadia mate, so i took it to heart, and i began writing a furry story starring both me, (Dammyr, the red fox with crimson spots) and my mate, Shadowcatch (a black dragon)
Oh so fun, being rejected
General | Posted 14 years agoI finally a letter from the publisher i sent my first book into, and what i got was along the lines of, "its a good story, but not what we want" it stings, but at least it give me more determination :)
