General | Posted 9 years agoHello to new watchers and people realizing that I have not fallen off the face of the planet (I tried, sorry, you are stuck with me).
Little about this:
-Been doing the sex toys thing as DamnAverage for 5 years now. Have had a lot of people follow in the footsteps, and a lot of awesome support, so I am going to keep on making things for all sorts of folks.
-The shop is for anyone of age! so no gendered details in my listings, and no assumptions about my customers. You are all welcome here! As long as you are adults.
-All of my toys are in platinum-cure silicone, same as other fantasy and indie toy makers. I offer firmnesses ranging from super soft (OO30, many other places' 'soft') to hard (10a). As for why others' "soft" is my super soft, I worked backward from 10a and tried to space the firmnesses less drastically.
-I specialize in marbles and have led the way with a few techniques that others try to replicate. Imitation, flattery, etc.
-This is not a 'hobby,' this is my job. I treat it as such and try to provide the best customer service that I am capable of. Sometimes I fall behind on messages and have chronic depression so have recurring bouts of 'hiding' for a day or so.
-The best way to contact me is through Etsy. That is also the place to check for updates, and I post most frequently on tumblr, and less relevant nonsense on twitter.
-I am all about monsters. Demons mostly, aliens sometimes, big hulking scary things. I'd marry a Hell Knight and I'm not ashamed.
Think that covers most things? Anything else you want to know?

Obviously the information here is a bit out of date. I apologize for that, and will get around to fixing it sometime when my mental health is on the upswing. Which is hopefully sooner rather than later. I am moving pretty soon here. To that, I am currently running a sale to remove as much stock as possible so it is less to port about and will cut down on delays in shipment due to finalization of said move.

Much like last year I’ll be shooting for a solid percent off of colorful in-stock toys - the only matte black you’ll find will be set next to another color! The change this year is a manual adjustment of the prices so there’s no spending extra time to punch in a coupon code.
I’m pulling down inventory (with the exception of the Lumpy pre-order, which will be available while quantities last but will not acquire an additional sale) shortly, and items will be listed/relisted at 12:00am CST on Friday. The sale will run through Cyber Monday.
In addition to some really pretty stock and funky discounted pieces, misfit critters and a few other enjoyable bits and bobbles will be available! But you’ll have to wait and see about those. :)

General | Posted 10 years agoMy last journal is quite a bit outdated. Don't have much to say myself at the moment. Some pretty major life troubles going on, focusing mostly on that and work and battling stress induced sicknesses. But that is me, and whatever.

General | Posted 11 years agoI've got some models to post here, and then probably some pretty toys. Now that there is actual clarification on the AUP I feel a little more secure in posting my works:
3.4 - Photography displaying adult toys (sex toys or sexually modified objects) is prohibited, unless they are not in use, being worn, don’t show signs of having been in use, you created them from scratch, and you mark them with the adult content rating.
Please don't contact me through Furaffinity for orders. I will direct you to Etsy instead. It is difficult for me to keep a good grasp of all the information given to me across multiple websites so I prefer to have it localized to one or two areas. This is not one of them.
I have been doing this since early 2011 but had a marked increase in quality in 2013 due to effort and a little more monetary freedom. Late 2013 and early 2014 I made a mistake of taking on too much and have fallen a fair bit behind. Pre-made toys will be available for purchase but the official word is that customs are closed until I finish my task list.
2014 has not been the best year for me for a multitude of reasons, but the intense storms and eventual shift into fall have me excited.

General | Posted 11 years agoMinistang ($12): Short and pocket/travel sized. Has defined glans and three bumps on shaft for stimulation. Cheap so you can experience my silicone for yourself without having to put too much down. Some people swear by this one. Ideal for vaginal and safe for quick anal play.
Thinstang ($45): Skinny like the Ministang but designed for those who like a longer toy. Has defined glans and three bumps on shaft for stimulation. Ideal for quick (something you do not need to spend time working up to) anal play.
Longstang ($75): Thicker and longer than Thinstang. Has defined glans and three bumps on shaft for stimulation. Ideal for vaginal and anal use, best for those who want length but not a whole lot of girth.
Devil's Mustang ($?): Huge toy TBA in time. Rife full with bumps and nubs for stimulation all around.
Tiny Tentacle ($25): MOLD IS MIA CURRENTLY. My original tentacle sculpture. Has a unique curve and very defined suckers that offer a lot of texture - if sensitive to textures this is not for you. It is on the smaller side. Good for vaginal and anal.
Small Cephalopod ($25): A revisit of the Tiny Tentacle with less bubble trapping and gentler suckers. The shape is not quite as organic but it features a relatively smooth backside and textured front. The base is covered with suckers for tactile feedback also. Good for vaginal and anal
Lumpy Little Fucker, the Devil (aka Lumpy F'er) ($50): an experimental sculpture created prior to 2013. Decided to bring it into the lineup while revamping what it is I do. The head is good for hooking into places, like behind the pubic bone for maximum g-spot stimulation. Bumps along the shaft gradually increase its width also. Ideal for both vaginal and anal, however I would encourage a softer firmness for use unless you know you like a rough ride. It's comparatively small, but that shouldn't fool you.
Jav ($60): Jav is long and slender with gentle bumps and ridges. It is good for maximizing use of length without prioritizing available volume toward girth. Better for anal exploration, although I've heard much good things about it vaginally. Very floppy in softer firmnesses due to its structure.

I am nearing the vacation time I mentioned in the last journal, however it is being pushed back a couple more days (through what is going to be the worst weather I have seen in the past three years!) for work related reasons.
In the case that ongoing politics on Furaffinity drive me away from the website I would like to offer a couple alternatives that I use much more frequently. As usual, you can find me on Etsy, but I am most active on tumblr through the main DamnAverage account as well as my side account where more dildoisms and polidicks (yes) as well as general silliness are posted.
As for alternate galleries on such websites similar to FA, I've yet to really find anything that allows my kind of work. It can be argued either way in regards to being an art and I understand the apprehension to allow it to go unhindered as one, so it's not something I will push for acceptance in places where it is not.
