Commissions done, taking it easy, also other stuff
Posted 11 years agoJust as the title says I am gonna try and relax for awhile now that I have finished all the commissions I was paid for, but that is not to say I will not take a stream sketch here and there, I just won't be going at it full blast.
I feel really worn down, I should have been able to get all the commissions I had left done days ago, but I have been kinda slogging through life and all I feel is old and feels like all my energy is drained.
I hate to take a break from art (not that I was getting commissioned THAT much) because I am thinking I would like to get a new PC built, but that never pans out anyway, so unless some one wants to enslave me for art for a month so I can get enough money to get one built it will probably never be in the cards.

-- Xbox One -- Yes, I know, most people HATE Xbox One or Microsoft or what ever, please just keep your comments about this to your self, I am tired of dealing with fanboys of ANY side shoot their mouths off without any disregard for others feelings, like me, which is why I am saying something about it.
If anyone has an Xbox One and actually want to play a game with me add me GT: DamnEvilDog I have quite a few people on there... and yeah... not really played much with anyone there... the games I have are:
Assassin's Creed IV (Have not really touched the MP much nor finished the SP)
Battlefield 4 (I can't play the MP, I suck)
Dead Rising 3 (Still working on collectibles and DLC on my main account, would like to work on it on my DeD account)
LEGO MARVEL: Superheroes (Finished this on my main account, no online co-op though...)

Gonna start unwatching some people, while the people I watch are still awesome, some have just gone a different path with their art and their style does not appeal to me or they have gone to Weasly or what ever, so don't take offence if I am not on your watchers list anymore, people have unwatched me with out saying anything and I am always wondering "why" at least if this happens then you know.

Free Pokemon X or Y (Club Nintendo)

I would not mind getting one or the other, so if some one has codes they don't use they could note it to me? if nothing else it's a heads up to people if they would like a free game them selves ^^

Posted 11 years agoJust a heads up about why I did not art yesterday, I had a doctors appointment.
It was an eye doctor visit and I was dilated so it was hard to see and read stuffs, I was kinda hoping to after midnight but nada, so I just played some games.
Anyhoo with that out of the way the appointment was for them to check up on my eyes to see how they were doing, things seem positive and hopefully in a few months I will get the oil extracted out of my right eye and if I have good potential for vision I will be getting a lens put in so I can see.
That is about it, I do have three commissions total (some on FA and dA) I have completed one of them but have not uploaded it (on my laptop right now, will get to it later) have half of one finished and have one colored commission still to do, if you are interested in commissions by the way I am still taking them, just read my previous journal ^^

It has been a long run on there, I have been streaming there for like 4-5 years.
It's been going downhill as of late and just seems to be a terrible place for an artist to stream.
As some of you know I had been looking for a place to move to to stream, Justin.tv is just plain horrible, http://www.tigerdile.com is from what I know ran by awesome people... but it costs money... for the past week I have been testing www.picarto.tv and I love the place.
So head on over and give it a look if you are a streamer like me. it is very nice (still in beta though) they suggest OBS (free stream software) which is really easy to setup with the short tutorial, will need to tweak some stuff to get the stream smooth and what not, so if you have questions just ask :)
That is it for now, hope you guys will get behind this "mass exodus" x3;; thanks for reading ^^

Posted 12 years agoToday I went to the doctors for a follow up and this is what i got:
Blood pressure is down to 126 over something, lowest number I have seen for my self.
Temp is 98.1 so I am not sick at least... still not feeling good, probably the weather.
The damage on the front of my eye has gotten %60 better according to the doctor was most likely caused because of the high eye pressure.
Retina is still in place and is looking good along with the openings they made.
Eye pressure is now 10 which is amazing considering 2 weeks ago today it was 51
So nothing but good news today and the visit was short... getting home sucked because everyone was crashing into each other or something, sigh.
Gotta go back on Thursday for another check up at 11:30
Some tid bits: I found out I was suspended from GameFAQs because of my sig (has my art page links) still don't care, place is trash. I was playing Bravely Default while at the hospital, it is very nice so far and could herald the return of JRPGs that are not fan service loli trash.

Problem with gaming right now
Posted 12 years agoSo I am now suspended from GameFAQS, I have been trying very hard to move away from there but stayed out of habit.
I am done with GameFAQs, I wish there was a good forum for me to go to that was setup the same or better, but I can't seem to find one I like... well I have been poking a bit at the IGN board, seems nice so far.
It's a cesspool over there (GameFAQs) PS4 trolls are all over the Xbox One board and most of them are not getting modded, it's sad.
Which brings me to my point, why do people feel the need to lash out at others in attempt to feel better about them selves?
You know if you do not like a console or company, that is fine, but why do people decide to lash out at the people who want them?
Anyway... stay away from GameFAQs, if you are an Xbox person or a Nintendo person just stay away, the hivemind of Sony fanboy idiots is disgusting and ruins the image of anyone who are real gamers that love PS consoles.
Enjoy the platform of which you game on and don't attack others for their choice, the point of gaming is gaming, not who's inanimate box of wires is BEST.

Posted 12 years agoDog here this time with an update from my visit to the hospital on Friday.
Was a short visit Friday thankfully, I was only there for an hour and a half, they checked my pressure and went over my meds again and wanted me to return on Friday for a follow up.
The important part is that my pressure was a 24 at the time they tested it (it was 51 when I first showed up on Thursday and was I believe around 33 when I left that day) so what they did is working.
Right now my eye aches, they had to use high powered lasers to puncher parts of my eye so I could let out fluid, I also have another problem that I did not tell
Calypso_Laforet about to put in the previous journal (I forgot, was a bad day ._.) I have a scratch down the front of my eye, so that is making things worse, it's gonna be fine... just gonna hurt.
So now I have to take 4 different drops at various times of the day and one ointment four times a day.
That is that for the medical stuff, I want to just throw out a huge thanks to EVERYONE who has comments in the last few journals who have supported me, you guys are so nice to me I appreciate it *hugs* <333333
Also want to I am SO sorry to those who have commissioned me, I usually just push on most times to get art done, I can't now, it's impossible with the pain and eye strains and such, it's gonna be awhile and it hurts me that I can't get the art done in good time...
And I hate to ever ask, but I might have to ask for help. I have $3 left, I have five days of food and I have plenty of soda and bought pop-tarts to keep my blood sugar leveled, next week I am hoping my brother will get his tax return and will give me $150 to live off of till I am able to work, but if that does not happen I will need some donations if anyone wants to help.
I am gonna be poking at Bravely Default (I was able to get it after getting a refund from Taco Bell + all the points I had at Gamestop from doing a bunch of surveys at the e-rewards website, I had $25 off of the game!) and playing some other games (eye permitting) that I need to finish.
That is it for the journal, sorry about the length... want to also highlight Calypso_Laforet in closing because she always helps me when I can't post on my own behalf, want to also thank all my close friends for sitting there and listening to me on Skype even though it was hard to hear what happened to me on Thursday, love you all <33333333333333

Update - 2-7-14

For the last few days, Puppy has been having pain in his eyes. More importantly, his right eye. He had stinging pain plus his eyes were tearing up pretty badly to the point he wouldn't be able to see. Yesterday, he had a checkup for the results of the surgery on his right eye at the hospital...little to say...most of what he was told was bad news.
His left eye's pressure was 13 (which is considered exceptionally good), but his right eye's pressure was 51...which is very severe. Once the nurse noticed the eye pressure she went on full alert and left to directly get a doctor, one of the many doctors that were present at the surgery that Puppy had for the specific eye. They placed eye drops onto the right eye before taking him off to an actual room instead of a waiting room to see what can be done and to figure out why the eye pressure was so high.
Within the room, they used different types of eye drops on the eye to witness if there was any change to the eye pressure. Some held negative change, while others held positive. Soon enough, they had to use a microscope on his eye to get a closer in-depth look of what was causing him so much pain. The staff numbed up his eye before having to put a needle into his eye twice in order to help drain the excess fluid. They don't exactly know how it happened, but they do have a theory. The theory being that the hole they made at the back of his eye got plugged up by the oil, which is causing the high pressure within his eye.
After establishing the theory, Puppy had to have emergency laser eye surgery on his right eye. The eye surgery had to be done in 5 different treatments. The doctors wanted to reopen the hole that they made in the previous surgery to help drain the eye then make a second hole just in case. Puppy felt like the second treatment helped him, as he felt the pressure and pain lessen. But the fifth (and last) treatment caused him to feel a lot of pain. In the end, the eye pressure went from 51 to 33, which is a very good improvement in such an amount of time. Soon after, Puppy's brother stopped by Kroger in order to get the medications for Puppy's eyes, before heading on home.
Even with all of this...Puppy still has good news to share with everyone! For one, his blood pressure is at 146. According to the doctors, both of his eyes are doing amazing. Even if his right eye is swollen and in pain, Puppy is able to see shapes and colors, which is a very good sign that he'll hopefully be able to see better than he has been in a long while.
Now, he has another appointment coming up at 11am. In which case, if they find the pressure in his right eye still high then he will have to go back in for surgery once more.
Puppy wanted to say how deeply sorry he is to the commissioners he has right now, as it'll take quite a bit of time for him to work on the works of arts due to all that has happened. He is unsure of how long this will last due to not knowing how much longer his eye will be swollen or in pain. But he wanted to let everyone know what has been happening lately, he wishes you all good health, and sends love to everyone who has supported him or even taken the time to read this.

yoon really cheered me up last night just by talking to me and stuff, so I am doing better.Want to give a big thanks to her and to all my best friends for being there at various times where I needed an ear... or a shoulder (so to speak) to cry on. also a huge thanks for everyone that supports me here <3
Anyhoo gonna gonna continue to try and get work done, hell gonna try and stream after I finish this post, dunno for how long though...
One more thing, I try to be very forth coming with what I use money for, I have little in my life that I enjoy, and that little bit is games and movies. I keep my Netflix going cause I need movies and I buy games cause I love to game, if I did not have those I would have nothing cause I can't draw all the time and my friends are not around for every time I break down, I need those cause my life is s***, I mean really s*** I sometimes wonder why I keep going on, but I do and I enjoy life mostly because of you guys. so when I go buy a game or get some Taco Bell or something I am thankful I can because of the commissions I get and the donations I sometimes receive.
I will never EVER lie about what I use the money I get for and if I hurt anyone I am sorry, I never mean to unless you are attacking me for some reason, I am as honest as I appear to be and will always try to be that way, and when I say I love you guys I really do mean it <3
Anyway that is it, I had to get that off my chest, gonna dry up my tears and start the stream, thank you for reading *hugs*

Posted 12 years agoNot gonna be a big downer journal or nothing, but I am constantly tired and my body aches a lot, so gonna be slow on my commissions, I managed to only ink one thing that was a birthday gift, I have three unfinished drawings I need to get to and might not get them done till next week sometime.
I have tired to stream a few times and was only able to be on for a bit over and hour or something before I start blacking out, so I am not gonna force it, sorry ^^;
Anyhoo in other news my TV was crapping out but my brother let me have the one in the living room in exchange, but my old TV is making static noises :<
I got a new monitor because my brother's tax return came out to be $3800 because I was declared disabled because... I GOT APPROVED FOR MEDICARE! and I am also his dependent, so I snagged a cheap monitor from Bestbuy with half of the $300 he is letting me have (A wonderful 21.5inch Samsung) and he still has $3500 to him self :D
Next week is when Bravely Default and Fable Anniversary are out! I don't have a lot of money since I have been buying back games and a 3DS that I sold when I was nearly blind and stuff, so I am just getting Fable for now, what about you guys?
That is about it, I am in good spirits for the most part, but just like I said really tired and achy, I hope you guys are doing well and thank you for reading *hugs* ;u;

New journal, removed the other one
Posted 12 years agoI deleted the other journal cause some one said what was going on, I don't really want a debate or anyone to get in trouble.
I do now know what is going on, still has nothing to do with me. if you do take issue with it you should handle it like adults and not posting journals and basically throwing an angry mob fit.
Do a petition or something, handle it without blind rage.
Anyway, what the other journal was REALLY about (since some people did not get it) was I am tired of hearing about other sites that people are migrating to, if you want to do that then do so if you like, I am gonna stay till ether the site dies off or I do.
Don't think anyone should be labeled something bad just because they want to stay.
Next is that SO MANY PEOPLE forget how much work it takes to run this site and have it FREE for most of us, this place lives off of donations and tiny ad banners in the corner, be respecful that this place is run on the admins free time, they have lives (jobs, family and etc.) and I could not put so much effort or deal with as much flak as they do.

I my self am in terrible shape, eye hurts a lot and am trying to cope... I wish I was doing better cause I am still try to recover all the games I sold off cause I needed money in the past, also I wish I could do art right now cause I want to help my friend

yoon wants to go to TFF next month but isn't sure she will have the money to do so, I want to help by doing a stream but I don't think I can handle it (and she is not happy about me even trying in my state)

Update - 1-11-14

Just in case for those that haven't read his previous journals, yesterday Puppy has had surgery on his right eye, which is the worse of the two. It's been a long and scary day for him, but currently he's doing a bit better although his right eye still hurts a bit and he's been tired from all of what has been happening earlier on this week.
He arrived at the hospital around 5am, his brother dropping him off at the front emergency door. Unfortunately, the door was locked so Puppy had to walk around the outside of the building to get to the other emergency door. Thankfully is was unlocked and the woman working at the front counter allowed him to come in even though he wasn't supposed to be there yet. After being let in, he went upstairs to go to the room where he was to wait for his surgery to take place. But...he had to walk back down the hallway, as he needed to be admitted in with his arm bracelet and the specific paperwork. Roughly, taking him 25 minutes or so due to him walking slow and the hallway was quite long for him. Eventually, he was admitted into the room where he waited for the surgery to happen.
While being there, they tried to put an IV into his right hand while trying to find a vein. When they found one, they accidentally made it burst. Do not worry, for they fixed their mistake and bandaged him up. They instead put the IV in his left hand, which he didn't feel because he was so worried about the pain in his right hand. But both hands and veins are fine.
The surgery started around 7:30am and he woke up around 2:15pm, it seemed that the surgery happened without any trouble. Puppy waited out in the lobby while his brother was putting in the necessary information in order to get a special prescription for the pain medication that is needed. Unfortunately, the medicine won't arrive until next Wednesday so Puppy will be in pain until then.
He can't sleep on his back currently due to the fact that they had to put silicon oil in his eye in order to keep the retina in place during the healing process. Eventually, he will need to go through another surgery in order to get the oil out of the eye. But for the moment he won't know, most likely it'll be months until that surgery happens. All depends on what the doctor says in the future when the time comes. Right now, he can't see out of his right eye but won't know till later after all the oil is out of his eye. He will be able to see, not see, or he'll see but vision might be obscured a bit from the oil.
He's taking 3 different things for his eyes. A steroid drop that he deals with 6 drops a day, a gel, and an antibiotic he deals with 4 times a day. So he's not sure how's he going to get some sleep, but he'll try.
He has an appointment next week on the 16th about how the eye is coming along. He's having a different doctor than last time. The doctors there rotate on a normal basis, this is due to being a training hospital in a way. But the head eye doctor is ever present in all surgeries to either perform the surgery himself or to watch over the less experienced doctors.
As always, he thanks everyone for their support and he sends love out to all. He hopes that you all have a wonderful year, even though his is off to a rough start.

Posted 12 years agoWent to the renal doctor today, after waiting for what felt like an eternity she just seem to spout off a ton of bad news.
I have stage 3 kidney disease, if untreated I would be put on dialysis, I did not know what that was, so I asked... I kind wish I did not, so if they can't get my blood pressure under control and what ever I could go on that and not live very long or something... I can't remember much, my mind is F'ed up right now.
Both doctors say that I have improved a lot though, my A1C is now 6.6 (down from 14 something when I first started going to the hospital)
IF I get approved for Medicade I will probably have some kind of gastric surgery done, which will drop my weight massively (since exercise is hard when your legs hurt like hell... and they want me to take less pain meds because of my kidneys)
I almost feel like I am at the brink of giving up, but I don't want to die... so I will try to go on, do art for money, try to get back the parts of my life I sold off because of my health and try to have fun.
That is it for this journal, sorry it's so sad, for what it's woth, how ever short my life might be, my friends and the rest of you have made my life so much better *hugs*

Not working for awhile, also looking for games
Posted 12 years agoHey everyone, just wanted to let some people know what is going on just in case they had not ^^
I had a perop appointment today to make sure I was ok enough to have surgery, I am and will have it done on Friday on my right eye. tomorrow I have to be at the hospital in the renal clinic and then Saturday I have to be back after the surgery so they can check the eye, so yeah busy week and with recovery I might be too down and out to art, so gonna take it easy since I finished my commissions ^^;
Games:
I really want some games I got rid of back when I felt like I needed to sell them for food and other things so I did not have to keep asking for help here ._.
I got rid of my PSP RPGs and I am very sad about it, also got rid of some PSone RPGs.
PSone I would love to have Tales of Destiny 2 and Valkyrie Profile back.
PSP I would like a lot of games back, Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean 1&2, Tales of Eternia, Valkyrie Profile and the Legend of Heroes series (there are a lot more, but I wont list them all)
I'd like to maybe work out some deals with people that can find these to trade to me for art please, I can't afford the prices they are asking for and since Santa hates me I am gonna have to give up hope and try to ether trade for them or just give up I guess >>

Friends are around then, people who want my art are around... there is just one huge negative which is why I did not really want to stream at night, by the time I hit my 3rd round of daily meds at 10pm I am passing out (lot of pain meds etc.)
But yeah, I am enjoying night streams and getting commissions, so that is good! ^^
I am very thankful for you guys, I would not be able to buy diet coke, eat, enjoy gaming and pay my Netflix if it was not for the people who commission me, you have other better options, but you picked me ;u; <3
Also want to thank everyone who watches me otherwise, love all of you <3

Medical update + Stuff
Posted 12 years agoBefore I get to the medical stuff, here is the "+ stuff" first:
Been a crappy week since when I had pains start up on me one day during a stream, then exploded the next day when I tried to stream again. I am so tired of this happening, it happens a lot, seemingly at random through the year, so it looks like I am stuck not being able to draw again for some period of time...
I did try to stream last night, trying to make an effort to not have the one commission I have left to go undone for months or what ever, I did mange to get it sketched out, but that was it... I should not have streamed, I was miserable, I was passing out only to keep my self awake from the pains in my arms and hands which would jolt me awake, I had to stop from screaming out too much... which means for the people in the Skype call and watching me in the stream they were also miserable, I won't do that again, I will wait till I am better to stream again.
So a huge apology to everyone involved last night, I love you guys and I am so sorry to drag you into my misery *hugs*
I will make an attempt to finish the commission on my own still, I want it to be done before my next surgery, which I have some details below.
---Medical things---
Well here is the time line for my wonderful next few weeks:
1-2-2014 - Going to an appointment that was setup by some one that is ether employed by the University of Cincinnati or works with them. she is going to try and get me setup with Medicade which means I would have insurence for once, I was worried about that but it would be free to me, in turn my meds would be free and I could get them from Kroger which is less then 5mins away from me (heck I could try to walk there and back and do so in an hour even with my crappy legs) instead of having to drive 20mins to UC hospital and wait endlessly with many many other people doing the same thing as me.
1-8-2014 - This is the first day of my terrible week, I have to go in to speak with the anesthesiologist and get ready for my surgery.
1-9-2014 - 2:30pm - I am going back to the renal clinic so they can check to see how I am doing, they diagnosed me with kidney disease and are taking steps so I don't end up on dialysis.
1-10-2014 - Day of my surgery, gotta be there at 5am and my surgery starts at 7am. they are gonna work on my right eye this time, it is a mess in there and probably won't be able to restore sight, but they are gonna give it a go, I am thankful for that, in any cause it is not like it can get worse.
1-11-2014 - I gotta go back to the retina clinic and they will remove the eye patch/tape thing they will have over my eye after surgery and will see how it's doing, tell me about my meds and stuff.
1-16-2014 - Another follow up at the eye clinic.
Lot of things to note with all this eye stuff, this surgery will take 3 hours longer then my left eye since it is... really bad. IF there is a retina tear they will have to repair it and then ether 1) place a gas bubble in my right eye in which I will have to lay on my stomach for weeks only to get up to use the rest room or to eat, the bubble will dissipate some time after. 2) place oil into the eye in which I will not be allowed to sleep on my back (I hate sleeping on my back so that is fine) the oil will have to be removed via another small minor surgery.
So there you go, that is what is going on, I hope I did not forget anything because my hands and fingers hurt from typing... gonna try to play some games carefully as I can.

Got my Xbox 360 (Chrome blue Xbox 360 controller on top of it) on the bottom shelf with some Creative Labs speakers, laptop on my upper shelf (it moves in and out so I can use it) up top a nice little 32' inch Insignia TV, my Xbox 360 charge station, my PS2, PSP and Nintendo DSi.
On the right on my nightstand (with half my meds >>;) is my Xbox One and my Google nexus 7 Andriod tablet, I have my charge station for my Xbox One on top of the console.

My modem which is hidden behind my router and on mid area(which you can't seem to see) is my other Xbox 360 (which is hooked up to my right monitor) my monochrome Xbox 360 controller is located next to my router (bit hard to see)
For sound I have some nice Bose speakers I got for like $99 +tax awhile ago, iPod 120GB classic.
I have the same kind of mouse for both setups Logitech M510
That is what I got, got this stuff over many years, a lot of it was when I still had a lot of money, the rest os working my butt off doing art, which means if it was not for some of you guys commissioning me I would not have this stuff, thank you! ;u; <3

Holy crap that was fast...
Posted 12 years agoWELL THEN... not too long after I posted my last journal I get a phone call... guess who? lol...
So yeah I am gonna go in for pre-op on Dec 27th at 9:45 then on Jan 10th I will have my operation at 7:30am
I really hope they can restore my vision in my right eye, that would be amazing! ;u;
While I am here, since Santa is hooking me up, how about a new computer? this one is getting kinda blah... and maybe some new shelves? (mine are falling apart) x3
Wish me luck guys, next month is gonna be a big one! thanks for reading ^^
