Are there any?
I can't use Wise, or Square. I can't use venmo or Cashapp.
I just can't find a good alternative for commissions. I just need something that:
- I can legally use as a non US resident (or european)
- Let's me send invoices to people's emails without having a business account.

I hate the monopoly paypal has on everything. I don't want to inconvenience my commissioners but I have no idea if there are any other services that are as convenient...

Long story short my life has been taking a turn for the worse nonstop. For a while I was finally able to support myself with my commissions a little more comfortably, but my paypal got hacked and now I'm banned permanently thanks to that. (already took all the measures I can so it doesn't happen again, please no advice on that, I'm upset enough)
I am in constant despair and paranoic as fuck since then. I need to get my bearings but the whole paypal thing has destroyed my spirit. I'm at the end of my rope and barely keeping it together.

I can't afford an apartment, I live in a dorm. I can't afford a reliable internet connection, therapy, or meds. I'm just managing somehow, and I will continue at it. But I feel insane, miserable. There's really no end to the shit life throws at us. I'm scared but, sort of living with it.

I just need some way to be able to charge for commissions again.

OK so an update sorta:
I have a job! It’s temporary, (only for the duration of a project so far, don’t think I’ll get to be a permanent at this studio) but hey it’s a paid job, that will hopefully help get my name around to land more jobs elsewhere. It’s fulltime so I dont get much time to draw outside of it except the weekends, so content will be scarce for a while.

And right now i’m very sick! I have a fever, my body hurts and i have an unnending headache, along with random coughing fits, so I’ve missed a two days of this job thanks to this! I am screaming and dying inside, feelin like a good ol’ iredeemable fuck up already whoo

this time only my phone was taken but im still unnerved i guess so it's 3 am im exhausted and i cant sleep
i called the police already (nothing will come of it, i know) and recovered my line as well from the phone company

i've been getting emails asking about commissions, and some notes, i've answered all but worth mentioning, i'm not taking any new commissions till im done with my queue

Hey guys sorry for the sudden drop in activity,
lately i've been busy, i got a lot of things to worry about, and my sprained ankle doesnt help, this humid weather has turned into a even bigger pain.
Can barely focus on drawing anything, i tackle commissions, but just to let you know, it's going incredibly slowly, and i dont think i'll take anymore commissions untill i finish these two

Ok so, i've moved back to the city were i go to school in and well, decided not to bring my huge screen cause it's too much of a hassle to carry, and i was too tired to drag it around the city where i had to make a scale before arriving here.(and it turned out to be a good idea cause it would've been an even BIGGER HASSLE to drag that thing around with a sprained ankle, btw guys, dont mention my ankle on this journal please, thanks)

So im not sure about making digital art now, at least colored. My laptop's screen is just too different, and i actually could see more colors on my other screen. Back when i first got it, i took a look at the stuff i made on my laptop alone and ooh boy it looked bad (my laptop is an HP from a few years ago, it came with Win7, and still has it)

i'll be able to bring my screen here next month, i dont know if during that time my eyes will get used to this small ugly screen again enough to try coloring anything tbh....

In the meantime i'll try to focus on traditional when im not working on school stuff

so if you're up to letting me use your characters to learn and experiment and all, here's your chance?

I've been considering taking them for a while.
I'd only take cheap/quick ones, that i can finish fast (like this or this)
But I'd like to do it through twitter honestly. It's more accesible and fast than notes and such, since i can easily use it through my phone. And i dont want to be open for days, just when i have the time to do these on the side, while im away from my digital tools, or just really in the mood to work traditionally. Just open up and get started right away for something like 10/15 bucks.

So you could say this is a headsup that i'll open for fast traditional commissions on twitter probably?
