Posted 3 years agoAnyone who pays attention to my random rants in the last years probably knows how much I hate twitter, long before Musk said he wanted buy that shit I already hated it, and now he made it even worse, not just in the political perspective but in a more technical too, his plan is essentially making twitter pay to win, I'm not really willing to pay and also I'm very in favour of shaming and bullying people who buy it.
But even if I I was a techcuck Elon fanboy willing to buy it I don't see how it would benefit me, I think my most engaged post on twitter had like 300 likes at maximum and it was under very special conditions,my drawings are ok by themselves but they are not complete without my long text stories,what is not really compatible with twitter.Now you may ask: "All your works are already here and you have a solid audience why look for a new place?" it's simple the longevity of Furaffinity worries me and if it disappears I don't want to vanish with it, this site had improvements in the last years but it still severe obsolete to its very core, its like taking a car from the 50"s and trying to ham in modern tech stuff on it, you can do it at certain point but there's a limit, and in case of fA I think the only way to progress would to remake it entirely, codding is not my strong suit but even in my limited knowledge I can see how such a migration would be a technical nightmare with massive costs and perhaps even impossible,but still, I would love to see fA reborn like they did with DeviantArt.
Right now I'm considering using Tumblr and a private Telegram channel. "but Tumblr dosen't allow porn!" yes but most of my work is not really porn, its just erotic, also if you are among the people who don't know why Tumblr forbids porn, you should read the official statement from their CEO, in that he details the reasons and show who the real villains behind the overall censorship (its VISA and MASTERCARD in case you are too lazy to read the whole thing) I already have a solid account on Deviantart, but I don't allow interactions there at the moment (too much normies and 13yo edgelords) I also have a Facebook account,but Facebook is one of the worst cesspools I ever seen, like 99% of the accounts there are braindead unfunny shitposters or art thieves.
"What about Twitter alternatives like Gab and Parler?" if these alternatives sincerely passed through you head you are either misinformed or dumb, these knockoffs are just worse versions of twitter done by rabid rightoids who wanted to vent their rage against minorites publicaly without being banned, they were never meant to be nice or productive places, and they will probably go bankrupt now that twitter is allowing the same shit.
"We must stay on twitter and help to lower its value to defeat Musk!" stop, this is stupid, NOTHING you do normally is hurting him no matter how bizarre your kink drawings are you ain't even gonna make a dent on his profits, this doesn't scare brands, you wanna know who is currently fucking twitter hard? crazy recently unbanned edgelords spamming gore,slurs and hateful rethoric, this is what is making advertisers drop, the "free speech warriors" are sinking Elon's ship...If I was a horrible person I would suggest for the ones with urge to fight, creating twitter sock puppet accounts while using a vpn to spread even more chaos in the comment section of large rightwing figures, but that would be horrible, I would never suggest such thing. c;
For the moment I will not delete my Twitter account, but I don't guarantee activity there, I still curious to see how it ends, probably he will have to curb the "free speech" of his fanboys a little and eventually it just returns to the previous status quo, or he really goes ham with it and drives twitter to bankrupcy, or even better, he goes completly insane an throws himself from the tallest window available...that would be a remarkably funny ending. :U

A small victory but a victory none less.
Posted 3 years agoFor those who are unaware, Brazilian presidential election was just decided and Bolsonaro was defeated, which is amazing! the tears of his goons are flooding the streets, the loud and most ignorant members of my family are in shambles and praying for a military coup ,the same people who were so loud about preserving democracy and freedom are now asking for a dictatorship...as I predicted. :U
But I cannot lie, this was scary, Lula won by a very little margin, way smaller than the first turn and that's very sus, I heard rumors that the federal police was blocking roads in the north to prevent voters to reach the ballots but I cant confirm it, maybe bolsominions went really hard this time in the hopes to save their fash daddy, or Lula suporters slacked a little because the higher chance of victory, I don't know. I hope this serve as example for you people of other countries, even if the progressive candidates are predicted to win handly, GO AND VOTE! don't slack, if they are predicted to win with 70% of the votes make them win by 90%! specially you people from United States, political decisions there impact heavily on countries like mine, and what we conquer in years here may be undone in one day by an reckless american president.
Things are not set in stone yet, but a relieving notice came out soon as the ballots closed, Biden gave his bless to Lula, which may seem like a void political formality but it has a massive weight, the approval from the USA president reduces the chances of a right wing military coup here (last time it happened here it was because of america wanted it) Lula is known for opposing United States in several levels (he directly defied Obama in his last mandate ) but I'm hoping this time he plays nice this time...and if not I just hope he stays quiet about the war in Ukraine.
Will he be an ally for lgbtq people? I'm not betting my money on that, Brazil is still a very conservative christian country and supporting queer people here is not a very popular choice, specially trans people, I will not be surprised if he throws us under the bus when push comes to shove, but still I very much prefer Lula's apathy than Bolsonaro's open hostility,also, many governors and new deputies are loud and proud bolsonarist worms and they will for sure do whatever they can to fuck with us, like the republicans are doing to trans rights in United States...in summary my hopes are not high.
but still, today is a day to celebrate our victory, I thank to all brazilians who went to the street today and put the big 13 on the ballot, tonight we do like mister Bonner and we crack open the latão! XD

The war against AI is lost
Posted 3 years agoI told people around me this was coming and everyone said I was overreacting, when the first AI generated meme images began to circulate on twitter I said "this shit will evolve to the point it will be a problem for us very soon" but nooo I was just being too paranoid...guess what, I was fucking right! but this time I'm not really happy about being right...my only error in the prediction is that I thought it would take at least 2 years for AI generated "art" evolve to the current point.
I was considering writing this journal for quite a while to state my opinion, now I think its the perfect moment,why? because this apparently hit the mainstream, and from my initial observation normies gobbled this shit without even thinking twice, for the exact reason I predicted they would, because it can create generic erotica and pseudo meaningful scenes ,when you look these images in detail you can see the quite bizarre anatomy, but that doesn't matter in the slightest for the coomer mind,and from what I can observe most of the artists who are being openly pro-AI are the ones who only draw human porn, and specially porn fanart...which is very funny because they will probably be the first ones to be fucked by this, and no before you ask, no I'm not against porn, I even draw it in case you are not aware, but I'm not a great appreciator of normie artists who are always hopping on trends drawing the most popular (usually human) female character in the moment.
I think Image generators will be successful because there's a real market for them, companies will happily throw away their artists when they have a cheaper alternative,to be honest, I don't doubt that by the year 2050 entertainment mega corporations like disney will have no artists at all , they will probably have just a super computer with an AI that generates entire animated movies based on market trends,And it will probably affect every single layer of the artistic market, eventually AI will probably be able to emulate specific styles perfectly and at this point the sky is the limit,you may doubt it but keep in mind that around a century ago some people doubted that automobiles would take the place of horses...
I believe in some years some sort of AI regulation trend will be implemented in some countries, but only when automation become a threat to a vital sector of the economy, I don't think any governament care for us artists,for now I think what could help is some change in copyright law and stuff but I'm not holding my breath for that, but I can't deny something deep down in my mind is curious to see the evolution of that, I want to live to see one day a truly self aware AI doing art based in its perception of our world,I think it would be interesting.

Brazil may get politically spicy
Posted 3 years agoSo for those who don't know, this sunday here in Brazil we will have the presidential elections, and this time we kinda have a Trump x Biden situation but much much worse...the two main candidates are literal nemesis to each other but that is not the real main issue, the issue is that Brazil may become once again a murderous right wing dictatorship (it was some decades ago in case you don't know) why?
because of our current president Jair Bolsonaro, for those who don't know he is essentially a far right piece of shit, imagine Trump but even worse, he was fear mongering the "gay agenda" way before it was popular to do so,he fucked the country during the pandemic, he claims to be pro free speech but he constantly uses the judiciary power to censor news against him and his shitty family and so on.
I would write a long text about how much of a piece of shit he is BUT John Oliver has a very good video that explains it for english speakers:

But I guarantee u he is not even scratching the surface, anyway, what matter is, different from Trump,Bolsonaro has the military support specially here in the south states (everywhere I look there's pro Bolsonaro shit and nothing of opposing parties) and judging from the vibes I get from normies most people would be totally board with some sort of Christofacist governament, Brazil is a already a very backwards and bigoted country by nature, and from the news I get the far right ideological sewage from United States is already dripping on our shores, names like Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh and so on are already being pronounced in places they shouldn't, and this worries me deeply...if the american "trans debate" get serious traction here it will be disastrous.
the good news is Lula, the opponent of Bolsonaro is massacring in the vote polls, if the projection continues he will win handily in the first round!...but I aint super happy with the idea of him winning either, he is kinda progressive and shit, but although he is left wing, he is kinda "oldschool left wing" so he is automatically in favour of anyone who is against USA, so yeah he is kinda pro Russia,Iran,China and so on...and it also worries me alot if we found ourselves in a global conflict soon, I say that, because in the beginning of WWII Brazil was disturbingly close to nazi Germany, and decades later was revealed that United States was planning to invade Brazil if needed so...yeah you get my point,and I'm not even talking about an actual invasion, economic sanctions would already be disastrous enough, if Europe and United States give us half of the cock block they gave Russia, Brazil will crumble in weeks.
So yeah in summary, my country can go to shit in the next days and if it happen I don't doubt our connection to the internet will be cut or heavily censored,if I get silent for a while you know the reason...If Bolsonaro says he will only leave his office dead, I will be glad to see it happen.

The war on Ferals
Posted 3 years agoAn almost yearly recurring phenomenon in the fandom drew my attention recently, the push against feral themed art, and this time it affected several artists I follow so I decided to look a bit more in depth,and I got surprised to see that a lot of the individuals pushing this stupid narrative where very young and mostly left leaning queer furries, and it puzzled me greatly (before anyone gets any funny ideas yes I'm queer and lefty too) and it kept me wondering what kind of idea these people have in mind and what is the great plan behind it, and I'm mean "plan" because I don't doubt there's influential individuals pushing this, I've seen some even theorizing that this part of a vengeance attempt done by ex-Kiwi Farms users after the death of the site, it would make sense since alot of furries where very loud during the campaing to bring it down (based as fuck by the way) and also KF users were mostly far right reactionaries known to cause harm to non-normative people....it's possible but I don't know if it holds much water.
In any case these puriteens can go fuck themselves, as the time passed I learned that the opinion of people who joined the fandom recently has to be mostly ignored, specially those who can't handle the natural weirdness of the group, they end up learning how to accept it or leaving because they were just experimenting something new.
But also, doesn't mean the opinion or actions of older creators should be considered in any shape or form divine , I've seem plenty of older artists saying remarkably stupid shit...
I had a entire script to make this kind of an essay but I forgot it so I will conclude it like this: never do shit to please normies in the hopes they will leave you alone, normies will always find something to mock you for if you are different, and if you keep chopping parts of your weirdness to please the grey mob, eventually you will become like them...and specially NEVER bow your head for those who call you "degenerate", this word has been used before to justify a lot of atrocities and crimes against liberty,usually those who use it are not good people.

But anyway, I just searched my name out of curiosity on e621 and I discovered some of my drawings were reposted there recently, and I want to be clear that I'm ok with it!if you bought a commission/ych or adopt from me you are free to post it anywhere you want, it's yours!

I will not allow drawings of my fursona aka: Danadriel on there, if I see it there I will immediately request a takedown, not out of malice but I really like to have control over drawings with him, he is very special for me, so I hope everyone comprehends....
(Currently there is only 2 drawings involving my sona there, both done by Laew, I'm fine with them they can remain there )
But what about the commissions I made with other people's ocs and my fursona?yeah so...first I don't think I will do these for anyone anymore, but I will trust on the good faith of those who bought comms with him...please don't take my busty boy to nasty places,ok?. ;w;

My health is kinda fucked
Posted 3 years agoAs I mentioned in my last journal, I'm not feeling really great both emotionally and physically, although I just mentioned now, I'm feeling horrible since this year started and each month that passed I felt my body deteriorating more and more, now it reached a point that cant be ignored so I went to a doctor,Summarizing long story short, my lungs are fucked, they are working at half capacity, damaged due a mix of acid reflux and my thyroid not working properly,is it a super serious? not yet, I'm not dying from it, but it needs be treated now otherwise it will get very serious, luckily the meds for it aren't that expensive, they are just a little annoying to use.
Now a lot of things make sense, why I'm sleeping more than 12 hours a day and still feeling exhausted, why I'm always tired and unmotivated, it's because my brain is not getting juice enough! I'm getting asphyxiated by my own body! anyway, at least now I know it and I'm already dealing with it, the whole treatment will be a pain in the ass but if it works and I'm return to my prime I'm happy with it... also the whole medical endeavour opened a unique window of opportunity to fix another thing on my life...I will not speak about it yet because I don't wanna jinx it, but for what seems like the winds of fate are blowing in my favour...
For those who are interested on commissions, I will reopen them in a few weeks, I will try to be a full time artist until the end of this year, if I be unable to get at least a minimun wage per month in commissions I will not do commissions anymore and will pursue a career related to my super boring degrees, I love working with art and to this day practically every single client was very nice with me, but sadly I can't build a stable life just on that .-.
So that's it for now, stay tuned for new announcements.

Posted 3 years agoThings are just not working right now, my mind is currently a whirlwind of anguish, several things I was trying to fix on my life went down the drain, I don't think I can keep pushing myself to draw in such a mechanical way, lowering even more the quality of my commissions.
I will finish what I owe for now and this is it, I don't know if I will reopen them anymore.

Ending my story
Posted 3 years agoGreetings this journal is specially made for the people who are following my story in the last years, first, thank you if you are one of them!
I've been creating this story for like 7 years already and even after the reboot I feel like it's not stimulating me to create anymore, and in fact it is hindering my creativity, being another cause of frustration in my current situation,it was fun, I really liked working on it,I know I left several parts of the world only mentioned and unexplored but its now becoming stale,lifeless and I'm tired of working on it, so I arrived to the conclusion that it needs to end....
"So are you going to just stop writing it?"

I want it to end with a bang, In several recent pieces I mentioned the signs of the end times, the constant mention of a new era incoming, an era of true magic, I think its time to bring this apocalypse...this era of magic...I finally imagined a decent plot and twist for the end of times, and I'm planning to make it in a 4 part drawing to explain it.
"And what happens after the end, are you going to stop writing or you are going to start a new lore?"
A new story will born from the ashes of the previous one, this universe I created was the stage of many apocalypses, and this one is no different the world never truly dies it just changes again and again, but I will shake things little to avoid common story telling cliches and structures, I want to explore more outlandish ideas and concepts, some characters will return, others will be gone for good.

Posted 3 years agoI've been thinking alot about it recently, thinking about how little I stress about attracting more preg belly lovers to my gallery, like I draw a certain variety of themes, but I'm careful with some of them because they tend to attract quite unsavory watchers (gore by example) ,but with preg I never had this worry.I know pregnancy fetish sometimes attract the traditionalist/fascist types because of the whole "multiply our race" thing(at least judging by some posts on pregchan), but yet I never had issue with such people and I'm so happy about it,I mean since this is my job and my hobby I like to keep stress free, so its wonderful!
or perhaps I'm just lucky and I didn't poke the wrong beehive yet...
I would love to hear the experience of other pregnancy artists of this platform, are you in a similar situation?
Another thing that is on my mind lately is my general image as a creator, if I'm passing the image I'm really think I'am, sometimes I go way too edgy on my drawings and I'm afraid people may not interpret in the way I intended, specially the ones with my fursona, I'm afraid of getting lumped together with people I despise, Like by example one artist I saw some days ago, I quite liked the art, quite sharp goth style...but I smelled something fish on that one, I knew something was off , I had a gut feeling about it ...and I was right! one week later I discover that person is a fascist piece of shit!And I dread to be associated with such people just because of similar work themes.I don't talk here about real world politics because they depress me and pollute my profile, but for those who are unaware yes I despise authoritarians,racists ,homophobes, transphobes and fascists of all kinds, and I'm really not a fan of Ideological traditionalism either.
Also speaking of getting lumped with shitty people, I wanted to say a friendly reminder that my commissions ARE NOT endorsements, they are my job and I dont have time to verify the entire online presence of each client, I do a small verification of each one before taking the job but its not a thoroughly search, so if one my clients is using my drawings in some kind of fishy morally questionable server, or spilling intolerance with my drawing as a profile pic I have no way to know. (but I will like to be notified with evidence anyway)
I don't mind people hating me or my work, I just want them to hate me for the correct reasons :U

Fuck Putin
Posted 3 years ago I don't have much to say about the war, I will not pretend I have substantial knowledge about geopolitics especially of a countries of the other side of the planet, but its very clear to me that what is happening in Ukraine is an act of cowardice and unnecessary aggression, and sadly I can't do much more than a pitiful monetary donation.
But as a general notice, I will not tolerate Putin simping around me, if you support what Russia is doing right now I have no interest in your support in any shape or form, be it through faves, comments or even commissions and patreon, if you gladly support such shitty dictator I will kindly ask for you to leave my page and eat shit until you choke and die, thank you.
