Bettering Myself
Posted 12 years agoSo for that past six or so months I've been having back pains and body aches and just overall not feeling very well. Now I'm no health expert but I'm going to take a stab at it and say that myeating habits and my weight are definitely the problem. Starting now as of today I am going to change this for the better.
Now to be honest I'm not really sure why I am posting his here, but I'm doing it. Lol. I've told myself that I would never let myself get to a certain weight and I have actually past that up quite a bit. :/ I need to do something or I fear this will only get worse and maybe soon enough end up messing up my body permanently or be a very bad health threat.
I really need to follow through with this this time.
Now to be honest I'm not really sure why I am posting his here, but I'm doing it. Lol. Posted 12 years agoI am going to start taking art requests starting now. Yay!
I'm doing this so that I can get some more practice and I need more subjects to draw. And also I want to give art to peoples! Keep in mind though that I am jot very good yet and I am doing this for practice to get better and hopefully draw new species. All I have ever done so far is wolves. So keep that in mind as well. I will do my best on these but don't expect anything to extravagant. Lol. i also have one more drawing i wanna do before i start on requests, though. But i should be able to start these soon.
There was one other thing i wanted to say but i cant think of it at the moment. I will edit this later if i can remember. x3

Christmas Gifts!
Posted 12 years agoI got a bunch of clothes and body wash and stuff. All the essentials I hate buying, so yay! Lol :3 I didn't have much money this year but I was able to get my mother a nexus7 tablet. She was so surprised and happy. It brought joy to me. I wish I could have bought more.
On another note, I found out my brother (also my roommate) wants to move out and back towards the suburbs of chicago. I am actually really devastated by this. I don't want to move back there but I also don't want to find another roommate. I don't have many friends and he is probably the best friend I have. If he's not there I'm not sure what I'll do. I don't even know if I'll be able to afford the apartment by myself til I can find another roommate. *sigh* I don't know. I love my family but I don't like change... Why cant life just be simple for once?

Posted 12 years agoSo just curious on what everyone's plans for Christmas (or whatever other holiday you may celebrate) is this year. Visiting family or just chilling at home relaxing?
For me, I'm heading out of town to go visit my mother and her side of the family this year. Hoping to just relax and have fun with my family and have a good time overall. Sucks that I've been kinda broke this year, so I didn't have the chance to buyany people presents this year. :( lol

I know I'm not the greatest artist, and even If I did this, at the moment I'd have nowhere to start, but it is something that I've been wanting to do for a long time.

Front view drawings
Posted 13 years agoSo I am having a lot of trouble with drawing frontal facing characters because of one main thing (i think) :P That thing is drawing the face and making it still look right. I am having soooo much trouble with this its not even funny. I'm getting real frustrated.
I am getting the hang of the sideview / 3 quarter view stuff, but I want to get better overall, so if anyone has any tips or any advice, it would be greatly appreciated... lol.
EDIT: I take back what I said about the sideview. I havent been practicing that enough. Grrrr. MOAR PRACTICE! ^w^

Thanksgiving
Posted 13 years agoJust wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all and I hope you had a great time today.
Quite frankly I am not too happy with life at the moment. Too many things that keep dragging me down and it gets hard to keep a smile on my face. I haven't really been as cheery as I normally have been.
BUT! Today, I wanted to get away from that. I told myself I am going to be thankful for the things I do have. I want to try to keep my spirits up no matter what life throws at me. I am really thankful that I got to attend my very first con this last weekend! I had more fun than expected while I was there. Met some awesome people. Also, I am thankful that I have a few good friends who I can go to anything about and they will just listen to anything I have to say without judging me. And last, but not least, I am thankful for all of my watchers (even though very few) and friends here on FA and I thank you for watching me and your kind words that encourage me to keep working on my art. I am truly truly thankful for this.
Unfortunately I had to work for this thanksgiving, so no extravagant meal or anything. So in that case I was really looking forward to fatting it up with a triple baconator from Wendy's to find out they were closed! What fast food restaurant is closed on Thanksgiving??? Lol. So unfortunately I had to settle for McDonalds. :( I am a sad wolf. lol :P

Posted 13 years agoI never thought I'd be fortunate enough to go to a fur con so soon and its already over in the blink of an eye. :'( Where did the time go?!?!?
At any rate I plan on going to MFF again next year and I am going to work on my social skills and hopefully make it an even more enjoyable experience.
I saw a few furs I recognized but was too shy to even say hi. I almost asked
dancingduke for a picture but was too nervous. :x grrrrr oh well. Still a blast.
I want the con to keep going forever! :(

Posted 13 years agoThe subject just completely describes how I feel right now. I can never draw a piece of work that I am completely satisfied. Especially without referencing anything.... I just dont think that I am ever going to reach my goal at this point
Sometimes I just feel like the only way that I can get better at something is to have someone to teach me. I can never seem to learn anything on my own. I just wish that I didn't feel so dependent on others...
I do end up drawing a bit more than the stuff that I post on FA but I just tend to scrap it because it is just complete shit and I dont even want to fix it. GRRRRRRR

Posted 13 years agoSo I was playing Resident Evil 6, Chris and Piers campaign and I was very upset when I found out that Chris doesn't have his amazing bulging biceps like he did in RE5. Sad sad times. Even though, Chris so far still is my favorite RE character. Hot and badass. What more can you ask for?
At any rate, the campaign started out annoying as hell. Infected are coming at you with swords and and shooting you. Okay, it's an action game, thats not too bad. BUT the fact that you don't get enough ammo to sit by and shoot all of them and that you get like 50 of them spawning in small areas, and its hard to seclude them so you can melee them down. Grrrr. This campaign is annoying the hell out of me.
