My Roo broski  dragondrop suggested I donwload "Gimp". It's a free digital art program. I couldn't pass it up! ^^ I played with it a little and drew a little head shot.
I'm gonna keep practicing and see where it goes. I know I just started commissions, but this doesn't mean I'll start digital ones just yet. I need more time with it. But I'm excited to see where this goes. :3

I've been getting compliments from my friends and some others about my art. I know I'm still very much an amateur, and the compliments are greatly exaggerated. Nevertheless, I am aware of my potential. Looking at my financial situation, I'm wondering if it would be wise to open for paid commissions. Very very cheap of course! So, I'm wondering if anyone thinks it's a good idea? I've seen others at my skill level open for commissions before. My initial thoughts on pricing are:
$5 for a basic colored sketch. (I feel $5 is a good base number as anything less wouldn't seem worth the hassle with Paypal)
$2 per additional character
$3 for a background/scenery
No additional charge for mature anatomy although I'm considering an additional charge for anything adult.

Also, I would love to draw icons, but I wouldn't want to charge $5 for them. But again, I don't if Paypal is worth anything under.
And I'm really proud of making my first hand drawn animation (my current icon). I would be interested in selling animated icons. But they would be expensive as animating is difficult and time consuming. I was thinking $10 for an animated icon. First off, I really appreciate your concern. It's really nice to know that people care. ^^;
Secondly, I'm ok. Here's a rundown of what's happened:
My car is dead. The repairs are too expensive for me right now. I'd be better off buying a new used car. So the worst part is no transportation. Except of course for friends and buses.
Currently the supremely amazing  grixfox is letting me stay with him temporarily. He has been very generous and kind through this whole thing. ^^
I've been looking for a job as much as possible, and I have a couple nibbles. I got a call from a Dominoes, and I might have a job at a Taco Bell, within walking distance of Grix's! Which would be perfect! =3 I should know if I have a job by Friday. I really hope I do. The sooner I get some income, the sooner I can look into moving into an apartment with my Riffy <33333
And the sooner I can get out of Grix's fur. ^^;
In other news...
I found out I can, in fact, get sick. I've spent many years bragging about my apparently strong immune system, as I've gotten little more than the sniffles in nearly a decade. However, I seemed to have attracted a bug and vomited yesterday, for the first time in many, many years. Not as painful and horrifying as I remember thankfully, but still awful. TMI? Sure. But hey, you watched me!
Thankfully it only lasted a day, and I'm nearly back to my bouncy self. ^__^
Also, sorry for not being on very much lately. I need to tether internet through my phone so I've been keeping internet usage to a minimum.

I started my car this morning to find that it won't accelerate. I'm stuck. Had to call AAA to tow it to a mechanic. I'm awaiting a call. If it's a transmission problem, I might not be able to have it fixed. And if my car won't run I don't know what to do with it. I can't plop a dead car in a parking lot and sleep there.
