General | Posted 8 years agoSo my drawing tablet died this morning after 9 years...now I have to go back to pencil and paper..
So I'm going to still continue working on the game, however its going to lower slightly in quality... Damnit.
I was considering making a patreon for funding my drawing tablet.
As for where Im at with the game and its readiness, i am working on a quest system, and think of how the openworld is going to work. I already have alot of core mechanics down, I just need to bring it all together in a cohesive package. It all kinda sucks since I was coming up on the crunch period.

So the current core pillars of design are towns, openworld encounters, and "Arcs". The way in which these three interact will create the endless design I am hoping for.

So I've decided to return to the fundamentals, and explore a singular relationship between my art and enjoyable gameplay, and between challenge and reward.

Thunder Arena Alpha!
General | Posted 9 years agoI apologize for not posting any pictures or videos for thunder arena this past week. I have been busy with a family event. That beng said prepare for Thunder Arena videos next week. And alpha at a later date.

General | Posted 9 years agoit has been quite some time since I was last posting stuff on FA. I've been busy make small game demos and 3d models, but finally decided to focus on creating a small fighting game, similar to budokai tenkaichi 2-3 & DBZ xenoverse. That being said I plan to release the game in campaign arcs.
The First Arc of Thunder Arena is........THUNDER ARENA! (.__.)......jokes aside this is a prelude arc and will take sometime to complete, as i need to work on the mechanics, enemy ai, and cutscenes.
p.s. I will announce the Alpha at a later date, hopefully this month!
