Artist robbed the day before her Bday

Havn't had the best start of the year myself, recovering from having a tooth pulled the other day, yay...



But I just saw that an artist has had her laptop stolen, and today/tomorrow is their 25th Bday, so please

go check them out if you are happy to send something their way to help them out a little.

Good Things Comes In Threes!!!

First of all, this time last week I got an unexpected surprise in my garden when I looked out the

window; 3 feral kittens plus the parents making themselves home, who I have TOTALLY not been feeding

and trying to gain their trust and slowly adopt them...



Secondly, got home today and got a letter from the tax people saying I paid too much, here's about £100

back, which has immediately been put into buying a couple of new lenses, because-

There is a huge project happening soon in Birmingham, and any fan of Linkin Park will know that their

last show was here before the tragic events of Chester Bennington.  A metal club I used to work for

have opened up a mental health organisation, and with it are honouring Chester by hosting an event

called '1000 Lights' (Like the song) which is where they are taking on 1000 musicians to play a few LP

songs to raise money for mental health, with bands members from Bullet for my Valentine, Funeral For

a Friend, Caskets, and many more playing with everyone else, which all leads into the third part of news.



The personal photographer of Bowling for Soup hit me up and wants me to be one of the photographers

for the show!  Not only will I be doing what I enjoy, I get to work with world famous bands, honouring my

fave singer and band of all time, and all of it is for a good cause!



Live in the UK and what to get in on the gig or watch the show?  There's still plenty of spots left open!

Birmingham Pride Fes Photos!

So you might have seen that I recently started up a new Instagram

account so I can focus on my photography, and a good time to start

indeed as Pride just went by (Which was fun to attend again might I

add) so I went and spent the entire day snapping pics.

Signal Boost: Artist House Fire

INKTiger's parents have lost everything in a house fire, including a pet, and has set

up a GoFundMe page so they can try get their live's going again from scratch.



If you don't know INKTiger, you've definitly seen their work of a black cat called Theo

doing AMAs all over the internet.

I joined a Chapter

Well, I'm in initiation, but if all goes well I'm going

to be part of a group known as Bearded Villains,

who have Chapters all over the world with 4000+

Members.



Think of a Biker Gang, but swap the bikes for beards

and violence for charity work!



I have a buddy who's been a part of them for the

past few years, and last weekend I went to one

of their events as the photographer, had a great time

with the lads, and decided to hit them up about

joining the team.



Last weekend alone the event raised £6000+, which 

will go towards keeping a care room in the Children's 

Ward at the local hospital open all year round, which 

is a place for families of sicker children to chill out

and crash instead of going back and forth from home.



If you feel like that's something you want to be a part

of, and you have an awesome beard, then feel free

It Birthday day today

at the start of the year and what not, yay...

This year has not gone as planned...

Sorry I havn't been able to post any new art for quite some time, life just went

straight down hill not long after the year started, and only now things are

starting to look better.



I had a job I enjoyed, working with extreme sports goods like skateboards and

such, only problem being it was what we call in the UK a 'Zero Hour Contract',

meaning I work for the company, but don't get any benefits or guarantee of

any work at all if they don't have any to offer.  In February things died down

completely and my manager mentioned to me there won't be any work for two

or so weeks, which I thought was fine cause I literally worked none stop all

throughout the pandemic and could use a long back.



Two weeks turned in three, then a month, then two months, and even though

I was looking for parttime work for the time being, I began falling into a heavy

depression and began job hunting.  Had a bunch of interviews, as well as plenty

of rejections, even did a couple days at one place I assumed I got a role at, only

to not hear a call back from them, which only dealt another blow to my mental

state.



A few weeks ago, I finally landed a new job, but I didn't keep my hopes up, just

incase, and it was just as I started my Father suffered multiple heart attacks...



After a very gruelling week of learning all these new things for the job and straight

away go to the hospital after work to spend time with my Father in the evening,

things are starting to look up again (He's made a full recovery and back home) and

when I have recovered financially I want to get some things in mention I had

planned before my life suddenly came to a stand still.
