I know I haven't been all that active on here and sadly it's just going to get worse! I accepted a job up in Minneapolis with a very quick start date of July 11th. So until l get an apartment and get settled I probably won't be active much...not until I get my studio space set up and organized.

Those are the next three conventions I'll be attending as part of the artist alley. I've been hold up in the studio working on prep and cosplays like a mad man. If any of you are at the convention come find me and say hi! I swear I don't bite!

Grand Highbeast is being retired and repurposed. I've gotten quite a few offers on him but I could never sell him. He was the first suit I ever made and he's got quite a few flaws. So I'm keeping him and repurposing the pieces. His head will be completely stripped, repainted, and given new horns and the silts will be repaired and reuses into another project. I don't know what I'm going to do with the body suit or tail...but I'll figure something out.

I work for a haunted house so in preparation of that every week until Halloween I'll be doing two or three makeups. All the pictures will be put up on my FB page, Dapper Raptor Studiis, along with a brief explanation of the kind of makeup and techniques I used. I'll also post one or two pictures of each on here. I've taken some requests but I'm always open for more. This week it's bruises, burns, and beards while next week is mythological creatures.

Some of these will be bloody and I'll try to take care of keeping those filtered.

Also other than makeup posts and the occasional random thing I probably won't be as active as I often am. I've got several large projects that need to be finished by November. Two are cosplay sthat requires a lot detail...and leather... The third I'm keeping a bit quiet until he's farther along but when finished he'll be about eighteen feet long and eight feet tall...so yeah...he's huge.

I finally got the four sets of horns I have molded up on my Etsy! Those would be my kudu, both sets of goat, and my steer horns. I've also updated a lot of my wings on there as well.

I've also got seven more sets of horns that will be molded and have first casts done in the next couple of weeks. The hartebeest horns just need another coat of silicone and the plaster shell, then they'll be done.

New horns that are coming will be: (Most of these are measured around the curve. I will get pictures when they finally arrive.)

- 21" Sheep horns (These are a bit straighter, but still have a nice curve)

Finally got this thing made after getting a ton of questions this weekend about if I had one or not...so now I do! I'll get it all up and running in the next few days.

Anyone have any suggestions for color schemes for the noodle creatures? I've got 15 more casted but am running out of ideas for color schemes. Any suggestions would be great!

I'm open for some wing commissions, if anyone is interested. I won't put a limit on how many since I can usually crank out a couple pairs a week so long as nothing does wrong. All my wings are foam with a wire support and ribbon straps. With commissions I will do any color or style, made from any of my five different patterns. (I'll post a finished product of my newest patterns either tonight or tomorrow, it's the six foot design and a basic dragon wing pattern.)

Would anyone care if to see my makeup work or would it be annoying if I posted it? I'm a part time makeup artist, I travel to a few local events and do some makeup work. I've done some zombie runs in Chicago and I also am lead makeup artist at my towns haunted house. Plus I cosplay some...unique characters. Anyways, would it be something I should post or should I leave it out? I do a lot of makeup tests and trails with new techniques/products so I would be posting it quite a bit but I don't want to annoy people with dumb pictures of my face.
