Just a quick update. I haven't been active on here really since gay pride back in July. Life has been really interesting and throwing me all sorts of fast balls. But it threw me a really hard curve ball around a week ago, almost two weeks ago. My dad has been an alcoholic for a very long time, but only recently had he shown signs of depression. We had tried to talk to him, to get him help, but he would never admit he had a problem. And would just drown all his problems in alcohol. My grandpa (His dad) had back surgery recently and they knicked the spinal bag and some fluid leaked out and he had a bad reaction to being put under. All he could do was roll around and moan in pain. My dad became really depressed about that and his job keeps laying off people left and right.

We had been arguing before this all went down over something stupid and something just snapped. He locked himself in his room with my moms gun and was screaming at us that he will never be enough and hes done. Mom told me to go get the police (we live in a township and we have one on duty almost everyday) Long story short my dad pulled his gun on the cop and got shot. Suicide by cop. It's putting mom and I through a lot of hell right now... so I am not as active... not that I was active much on here to start with.

Just don't have much to update with. I haven't been suiting much due to how hot it has been. I also had to sell Henson, the Turkey Vulture Gryphon I had just bought due to bills. But mostly I just haven't wanted to brave the heat to suit.

Which I apparently need to start just randomly putting on Dara's head because I am way out of shape when it comes to being able to stay in a suit for very long. I used to be able to last for hours without a headless break...but for the short hour I was in Dara earlier today I was sweating like crazy.

....Shit update was shit. Just wanted to let people know I am still very much alive. The internet is shit where I live so I don't get on here much because of it. I also don't suit often right now so not too many new photos....lame I know.

Apparently, Oklahoma has a monsoon season now. I'm sure most of you that watch the news, even if you aren't in Oklahoma, have heard that pretty much Oklahoma sucks right now. Flash floods and storms pretty much everyday, with a few tornado's thrown in the mix here and there.

For those asking me in PM's, yes, I am fine. Annoyed and tired of all the water, but fine. The area I'm in thankfully hasn't flooded TOO much. Flooded, but not up to the house. And for the most part we are still able to get around most parts of town. We just have to be creative sometimes when there are parts that are impassable.

I hate it when people try and tell me what to do with MY life, or try to tell me how to live it. Like no, it's my life. I don't need anybody to tell me how to live it. My aunts down for the weekend and all she's done nonstop is tell me how much of a screw up I am and how I'll never amount to anything if I can't hold a job, or let alone even get hired. That I'll never get a place of my own if I don't start saving up and shit.

What she DOESN'T know is that I HAVE been applying to places EVERYWHERE in this stupid town. I haven't got a SINGLE call back. I have called back on most and have gotten "We don't need anymore people at this time" Which is complete and total bullshit because why else have help wanted signs up? I'm just not what they are looking for.

She has also been telling me that I need to leave the 'gay lifestyle' and find a nice guy to settle down with. Bitch, it is NOT a lifestyle. It's WHO I AM. I don't have a fucking gay on/off switch. THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS. Not only that, but she has also been pushing her religious beliefs on me. Telling me that I need to stop being a devil worshiper. First off, I am not a devil worshiper. I am Norse Pagan. But regardless, again MY LIFE.

Don't even get me started on my fursuits. She's been bitching about those too. Been bitching that they take up most of my closet space and that she thinks its a stupid hobby and i need to just sell mine off and find a new hobby. No. FUCK NO.

I am tired of my aunt thinking that just because she is the landlord, she has the right to tell me and my mom and dad how to live our lives. That's not how it works. ><

You shouldn't have one at all. I can't tell you how many suits I see that are just nasty looking. I have had one person even go as far as telling me that a fursuit is too much to keep up with so they just keep it as is, and let it get all nasty and ratty and smelly. And they go out in PUBLIC around CHILDREN like this. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

It is NOT that hard to keep a suit clean. Just today I threw Abby's bodysuit in the washer today and surface cleaned all her other parts. How long did it take? A few hours for the bodysuit to dry and 30 minutes to surface clean all her other parts. THAT'S IT. So don't EVEN tell me that its too hard to find time in the day to wash a suit. That's just being freaking lazy and not wanting to take care of something that DESERVES taken care of!

I find it hard to even be nice to furs that have a ratty ass fursuit. I just want to go after it with a brush and a shit ton of cleaning stuff. Not only are you making a bad name for yourself, but also a bad name to the maker that made said suit. You are TARNISHING THEIR IMAGE all because YOU can't keep your damn suit clean.

Do us all a favor and either clean your suit, or keep it OUT of the fandom. How can you even bring yourself to wear something that looks like complete shit in its current, ratty ass state? Like seriously? When I wear my suits, after a period of time I always have a brush with me, and I brush whatever suit it is I'm wearing, or asking somebody else to brush me. Some say I over do it on the cleaness of my suits. No, I don't, I keep them clean as they SHOULD be.

Ugh....... this really grinds my gears.

This will be a trigger, and if you are pissed off easily, do not read. But I feel this is something that needs to be said. With that out of the way...

I can NOT stress ENOUGH how IMPORTANT it is to keep fursuits CLEAN. More so out in the public. The public responds way better and less harsh when they see CLEAN, TIDY, TAKEN CARE OF, fursuits. Not ratty, unbrushed, dingy suits. I recently got into an argument with a fur I used to call a friend all because they don't see the need to keep a suit clean. That it's too much to take keep up with and that it's easier to wear it as is.

LAZY. That's what that is. There is NO excuse not to keep a suit clean. I've had multiple people with white suits/white parts on suits that tell me "It's hard to keep white clean, why even try" I've had three husky suits. All with white on them. Mako came to me with a mud stain on her neck. It's gone now. How long did it take to remove? 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES. It was NOT that hard to do. And while I was at it, I cleaned up the rest of her face too.

Also. don't EVEN get me started with furs that claim slits in the front of their suits where their crotch is, is for VENTILATION. There are more places, less, NOTICEABLE places, where you can alter a suit to be more breathable. That's not an 'air pocket' Thats a dick/vag pocket and its DISGUSTING. keep that shit out of the fandom, or at LEAST to yourselves.

Bottom line, clean your damn suits for get rid of it. It's not that hard to keep them clean. And don't bring a mursuit out in the public. These are some of the things that give us a bad rep. ><
