I seen on the News this morning that a man in the Great Smoky mountains fought off a wild Black Bear who woke him up Bighting his leg. He accomplished this incredible feat by simply yelling "Stop it Bear!!" "Back off Bear!!" ......and the Bear ran away... :p

Now I'm not sure I'm buying this story.....but it Did make National news!

Time for a New Journal.......
Things in my life have changed for the better I think. I've started a New job that does not require me to invest Sixty plus hours a week, so now I have more time for Family and Art, in That order!
Also this new found freedom affords me more time to pester the Artists I currently watch, so if I watch you.........Run for your lives!!

It looks like my most wonderful friend and Mentor has Tagged me.....well, this should be good.:)

1. What's your favorite color and why?
A: My favorite color would be Blue. Why? Mmmm....because I find it to be not only very versable but also very deep.For me certain shades of Blue can drastically change how I feel,and I believe there is a great deal of emotion contained in the color Blue also.:)

2. Are you a deep thinker?
A: Yes,Very! I sometimes find myself lost within my own thoughts.

3. What's your favorite art form to create, and favorite art form to view?
A: That would have to be Fantasy! Dragons always come to mind,but also any mythological or Fantasy creature/environment. This goes for both questions.

4. If you could go anywhere in the world right now at no cost, where would you
travel?
A: Hmmmmm....I've always wanted to meet my mentor,if that counts...:D
If not,then Canada,England,or Germany always comes to mind.:)

5. What skill/knowledge would you like to obtain?
A: OMG! I would give ANYTHING to be as Grand an Artist as those whom I admire most!! Therefore my skill/knowledge would have to be Refined Art skills/Knowledge!!:)

6. Have you thought about the meaning of life, and do you have an answer?
A: Yes,I have spent a great deal of my long existence on this blue planet contemplating this question. I think the meaning of life is to learn and pass on that knowledge to the next generation so that they can further their knowledge and in turn do the same for their succeeding generation. The purpose of this being.....is beyond the infinite grasp of my mind.:shrug:

7. What makes you laugh the most?
A: A combination of Quick witted humor and slapstick comedy.

8. If you had a thousand dollars (or other currency) to buy something right now, what would you use it for?
A: I would put a down payment on a new car for my wife.:)

9. Have you had a pet that was like another human to you? Tell me about them.
A: Yes. Our Beagle is like a son to us.He even thinks/believes he is our son. He is by far the sweetest little boy you could ever hope to meet. He is nothing but love and loves everyone he knows.Loves when family comes to visit and knows them all by name. We can say that so and so is coming over and he knows who we are referring too and eagerly awaits their arrival.However,if he does not know them....he is most guarded until we reassure him that they are welcome.

Yes,in case you couldn't tell I am still learning to draw better and improve my art skills.
This has truly been an amazing journey thus far. Some of you may have noticed in my comments a seeming fascination with face's.....this is because that is what I am studying most at the moment. Please keep in mind that I am a self taught artist who draw's in his spare time,what little that may be.
Unfortunately I have been absent from my art for a few months, as work has been most demanding. But once again I am back with a vengeance!
Started doodling again and cannot emphasize enough just how good that feel's.
So please don't take offense if I should ask a question or two from time to time,I am still on a quest to learn.
