I just back from town and I got my driver's license!!!

It's only a G1, meaning I need a person with 4 or more years of driving exiprience, can't drive between midnight and 5 am and can't drive on the highway.

Adam West, best known for playing Batman in the 1960s TV series and himself as the Mayor of Quahog on Family, passed away yesterday from luekemia at the age of 88.

Sometimes I wish we could press dislike on a submission like on YouTube.

I decided to stay home from camping. My dad and I came back for my grandparents's 60th wedding anniversary and I stayed back at home while he went back to the site. There were too many blackflies and mosquitos. I also couldn't sleep very well and got really bored.

I'm going camping this weekend. We leave at noon tomorrow and we won't be back until Monday.

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat.... today it's worse.

I feel that video rental stores got phased out too quickly. A video rental store like Blockbuster would have thousands of mainstream movies that could be rented. Independant rental stores like Trailers Videos or Jimmy Bob's World of Video would have both mainstream films like Speed, Shaun of the Dead, and Pleasantville but there was also a chance they would have obscure and unknown movies like King Kung Fu, Nightbeast, and Gorgo.

Netflix is supposed to be digital video rental store, but it's a far cry from the video rental stores it replaced. For exmaple, one time I wanted to watch Hatchet which is part of a trilogy. Guess what? Netlfix only had the third movie, Hatchet III. No physical video rental store like Blockbuster or Sal's Video Palace would have just the third movie in a trilogy and if they did, they would get the first two quick. Also Netflix has a bunch of really crappy action films and comedies. Also, Netflix has a lot more crappy films like almost every Asylum movie than good films. Predator? No. Alien? No. Psycho? No. Speed? No, but they have Speed 2, the crappy sequel! They also have such critically acclaimed films like Airplane vs Volcano.

I can't name one video rental store I've been in that didn't/doesn't have Speed and is full of crappy films.

The reason why certain films aren;t on Netflix is because the studio that makes the films has to give Netlfix permission, something video rental stores don't need. Trailer's Videos didn't need to call up Universal and ask permission if they could rent out the entire Back to the Future trilogy.

If you ask me, Netlfix and video rental stores should be co-existing. If you want to watch Die Hard but it isn't on Netflix, no problem you can just go to any video rental store (all of them are sure to have a copy of Die Hard to rent) and rent a copy of Die Hard.

Another thing about Netflix is that they'll remove movies from the site, again because of contracts with the studio. Sure, some video rental stores will allow customer to buy a movie all for themself, but that copy of the film isn't the only one in the store and they won't just get rid of all copies of that movie unless it's a really controversial movie that has a very bad reputation like Movie 43.

One last thing about Netflix, they should really have a section for movies that are in the public domain. For example, Night of the Living Dead. That film is public domain, no studio owns it, so Netflix wouldn't have to ask anybody if they can have it on the site. There's no shortage of public domain movies. The only requirement would be that they would have to get the most intact print of the film; one that isnt distorted, full of scratches and jumpcuts.

So if you ask me, aside from having to leave your house and drive or walk to one if you're a lazy schlub, video rental stores were much better than Netflix.

I'm really worn out from today. On Sunday and Monday we got a huge snowfall. It was the first snowfall of the seaon and boy was there a lot of snow. There was so much of it that yesterday the buses were canceled.

Today, I had to deliver the papers. I couldn't use my e-bike because it doesn't work well in the cold and the last thing I wanted was to have to pedal that heavy thing up a hill. I walked my whole paper route which I almost never do. By the time I got home my legs hurt and I could barely stand up. I'm not very fit.

After I came home, I had to go to photography class with my mom. I packed up my computer, got my service dog dressed up in his harness and we went to class. I showed the class a lot of old photos that I have on my computer. I was standing up most of the time and was leaning on one leg which didn't help much. When I had to take my dog outside, my legs hurt so I sat down for the rest of class.

Now I'm at home and free for the rest of the day. I'm gonna have a bath and relax.

I'm not looking forward to delivering the papers again tomorrow.

I just saw a very sad comic on twitter of a dog being put down while saying kind thing's to it's owner.

It made me think of my dog Peanut... she died three years ago and I wasn't there for her when she died, but I could've been there... I SHOULD HAVE been there....

She died before she got home. The really sad thing is I didn't get to say goodbye to her.... I grew up with Peanut, I owed it to her to hold her as she passed away....

I'll always regret not being with her when she died...

If your pet is dying and you have the oppurtunity to be with them, take it. Share a last moment with your pet. Do not make the same mistake I did.....

Does anyone else wish that FurAffinity had a folder system like DeviantART does? I want to sort my favs into different folders; put art for me in one folder, fatties in another, and muscles in another.

Why do laptops have airplane mode? It's a very annoying thing. Sometimes when I'm pressing the Fn button on my keyboard and I go to hit F4 to put my computer to sleep, I may press the F3 by mistake, turning airplane mode on!

Airplane mode disconnects your computer from the Wifi and you can't open the Internet Access menu, no matter how many times you click on it! It also changes the icon of the IA menu into a plane. Whenever I accidentally press F3 with holding down on Fn, Airplane Mode comes on!

Seriously, why is this a feature on laptops? Do Acer, Dell, and other laptop makers think you live in planes? How often is someone going to be on planes for them to need to use this? I can understand if the person using the laptop is a businessman who's company has him fly around the world, but I'm just a regular guy who's only flown on a plane twice and that was back in 2008 or 2009 when I went to Mexico with my family on March Break.

Whenever I accidentally turn on Airplane Mode, I have to reset Windows Explorer which I shouldn't have to do. To an average joe like me, Airplane Mode is useless!

End of rant.

I feel down and depressed..... :(

Every day is pretty much the same...

I'm done high school, which I'm going to miss a little bit. I miss being a kid, I miss my childhood... I miss not having to deal with the real world and just not caring about what happens next.

I'm free but also trapped... now that I'm almost grown up, I feel so restricted which is only going to get worse. To me, getting older is more of a curse than a gift.... there's bigger punishments, you have to take care of yourself and you will lose the ones you love... pets, family, friends.... :cries: :lonely: :tears:

I'm not sure I even want a car anymore, trapping me further. I'm held down and weighed down by my current situation, which will only get worse. The chains and weight will get worse.... I will get more trapped than free. :fear: X_X

I hate my life.... I hate my grown-up life. :dead:
