For those wondering what i've been up to
Posted 11 years agoGonna keep this short and sweet- I haven't abandoned this account or anything. I just haven't been drawing at all for the past several months for various reasons mostly related to stress/anxiety. I'm still very active as a lurker though and I do intend to continue drawing and uploading once i've sorted through my various issues, so when that time comes, expect to see more dragons in diapers. And probably some other things in them too.
NEW TOUHOU
Posted 13 years agoAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i'm excited.
Hopeless Masquerade, it's called. Gonna be a tasofro fighter with a brand new art style.
AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SHINTO/BUDDHIST/TAOIST CONFLICT... so playable Byakuren? Playable Futo? PLAYABLE NUE???
I'm excited, if it weren't obvious.

Important Art Tip! :D
Posted 13 years agoSo, for the longest time, due to my unsteady, art-baby hands, I had the smoothing setting on SAI jacked up way higher than it needs to be.
As it turns out, it's rather important to not have smoothing too high. It can really throw you off!
So, I guess, bottom line, it's important to break the habit early. Smoothing is a very useful tool but I think you're better off saving the higher settings for when you're doing lineart. Especially while sketching, keep it low. It'll help a ton!

Hey, thanks! :D
Posted 13 years agoBig thanks to
isobel for the shout-out, I really appreciate it. ;)
Regarding current situations, i'm trying to upload stuff more often than I have been. HOPEFULLY that will work out. ;)
In other news, avocados are delicious.

indefinite hiatus
Posted 14 years agoWell, seeing as how I haven't actually uploaded anything in a while, this is probably not going to be a huge change in pace from usual, but i'm currently having issues with my tablet and SAI, so it might be a while before I upload anything again.
I'm mostly posting this because the laws of probability pretty much guarentee that it will start working again soon after I post this.

Hmmmm...
Posted 14 years agoLately, i've been having an issue where, in the process of trying to draw something new and experimenting with different styles and scenarios, i've found myself ending up just drawing more generic, plotless diaperfur...
It's fun to draw, of course, but it can get a little stagnant sometime.
I guess i've just gotta keep cracking at it, huh?

In a bit of a drawing recess
Posted 14 years agoI haven't uploaded much lately- i'm honestly just in a bit of a down spot art-wise. Haven't really had the motivation or the inspiration to draw anything.
I'll get over it eventually, but I probobly won't be uploading anything in the next week or so. Sorry!

Streaming
Posted 14 years agoWell, i'm gonna give streaming a shot. I'm not sure what i'll draw or if i'll even finish anything, but feel free to come watch me redo the same lines like twenty times!
Or, failing that, i'll probobly start playing Touhou and forget that I left the stream on..
