I wanted to reassure anyone who was alarmed by my previous post that I won't stop making art.
Bullies certainly won't make me stop!
I reported their behavior to the postal police
I'll just give myself a little break for a few days to make peace in my mind.
I will continue to do commission for those who ask, but I will start them when I feel ready

For a few days now I've been making the decision to close all this and stop making art.
My financial situation is worsening and I can't cover the expenses with the few commissions that arrive.
I also tried to make very long discounts but the situation doesn't change
Furthermore, on some discord servers like "Aquatopia" users started calling me a "scammer", saying that I didn't deserve the money I receive for my art, and other much more serious accusations.
Although some of my client users intervened in my defense, the situation did not change and I was banned from the server without reason and threatened in private.
This situation started in December 2023 and has reached its peak today.
I don't know what will happen but I hope this situation will change for the better

Yesterday I was discharged from the hospital.
I collapsed because, given the expenses in taxes and bills, I couldn't eat regularly.
Since art commissions are my only source of income, I have had difficulty with various expenses given the decline in commissions from December to today.
I understand my customers, they too have their expenses and I thank them for their support but here in Italy the expenses are very high.

Here I want to talk about a web-comic by Jesse Barboza aka jbwarner86.
It is a series of daily strips that talk about the events of some American teenagers living in the 90s.
These are 6 teenagers who represent the archetype of the new generation with references and quotes from the events that occurred in America in the 90s.
Despite a very nice start that introduced us to the characters and their situations, little by little the series began to feel very stale, with situations that tried to be interesting but ended up in a banal reference to a certain film or story without anything happening at the plot level.
the characters didn't evolve, they weren't explored in depth, they were simply unfunny cartoons with sterile references that you didn't always understand.
Then, suddenly, the turning point!
The character of the popular, rich, cheerleader girl with a perfect appearance was introduced... except for being an incredible bitch.
But here's something interesting, a comparison.
the protagonists who found themselves dealing with the cheerleader and her bully and rapist brother who was forgiven everything because of her status. Finally a criticism of the American bourgeoisie! Throughout the story they saw the popular girl come to terms with her bad actions, redeem herself and apologize to the protagonists while her brother is imprisoned.
Wow, despite the somewhat heavy themes it was really interesting, a nice development that got you hyped.
Too good? ... Well yes
Because here's Jesse Barboza's hypocritical thought: one day he woke up and said "Screw the drama and the interesting stuff, let's go back to the way it was before"
This author has literally erased all his interesting lore to make a reboot bordering on pompous hypocrisy worthy of the lowest right-wing American.
The popular girl is now not only rich, perfect but also good.
She is already part of the group of our protagonists and she is not explored in the slightest, her brother? just a prankster idiot.
Where has the criticism of America's hypocrisy gone, the criticism of the bourgeoisie which, in order to maintain the façade of an honest and excellent family, is not shy about trampling on anyone?
Man, you can't just reference the good stuff from the 90s.

As some may know, I have a granuloma under a tooth that causes me severe pain and I can hardly think. I will have surgery on the 10th of January and spend Christmas like this.

Last night I went to see "House of Gucci" and now I'm pissed.
There are 2 questions running into my head
-Why make a biopic with false facts?
-Why continue to stereotype Italians again?
I was very interested in the Gucci case and the murder of Maurizio Gucci, so I was very curious to see Ridley Scott's film.
I find myself in a film with fictional or false facts where an attempt was made to make the instigator of the murder Patricia Reggiani appear as a victim ("she did it because she was crazy for love" .... fuck you!)
And yet another film where they make Italians look like rude, boorish, antiquated and mafia people!
Enough! I can not stand it anymore!
