I know that headline sounds a lot more dramatic than I'd like it to, but it feels very appropriate. Dealing with the stresses of my retail job, and all of the bullshit that comes with it, has really been dragging me down. I am beyond burnt-out, and am down to my last few nerves. I do not know if the best course of action is to just try and keep with it while looking into finding a psychiatrist/therapist that can throw various anxiety/depression meds at me, or take things into my own hands by quitting this horrid job. I have a few ideas brewing, but much more thought (and first, sleep!) needs to be put into it.

It really is pathetic, how this ONE job, and random people, can cause me so much stress. I know that it's not normal. It's not even considered a full time job. Just a little over 30 hours each week. With roughly 4 or so additional hours spent busing to and from work. By the time I get home, I'm just drained, and the few days I have off work are spent trying to recover, and they never seem like enough time. I haven't had the energy to craft anything in months.

All I know is that *something* has to change. The way things has been going lately is NOT healthy. The thought of doing this kind of job, whether I'm stocking shelves or running a cash register, for the rest of my life depresses me more than I can possibly put into words. There has got to be something better than this. Perhaps I should start putting my skills to use...

Haven't updated here in a while. Guess there just hasn't been much to update, really. Any projects I have been working on has been real and I mean REAL slow-going. As in, work on one a little one week, do more on another the next week etc. Some of these have either been personal projects, but there's been a few for other people. But I'm starting to get things done again, somewhat. I shall hopefully have something interesting to post in the coming weeks. *

In a wave of caffeine-fueled curiosity I find myself pondering a question: If I were to ever stream any of my random sewings, would anyone even be interested? I'm not exactly a fan of cameras or anything, nor do I feel I'm interesting in the least, but it's also not something I've ever tried. Thoughts? I don't social all that often. o.o;

Finally got my lazy tail around to picking up my DTD from a friends today. They helped me make it months ago, but thanks to the whole moving-thing, I had to put it aside for a bit. But now I am looking forward to working on making a body suit. ^^ It might take me a bit, since I have to deal with work AND I have several other projects on the table, but with luck I can at least have something done by Halloween.

...for a partial? See money is tight right now, has been for the past month, and I'm still tryin to find a place to (more permanently) move to.

I was speaking my monitary woes to my roommate the other day, and he replied, "TAKE A COMMISSION, DAMMIT!" o.0

So how about it? I'll try to keep the prices reasonable for this trial run, just enough to garner *a* small profit for my time. And may need to charge a deposit amount up front to pay for materials. All depends on what I'm being asked to do.

I don't have many heads in my gallery right now, just the kinda realistic styled Drak head, and a not-yet-furred foam-based toony-styled cat head I still need to finish.

So I have this large black CRT monitor... 17" screen (diagonal). It works, it's just big, heavy, and I find I don't use it as much lately, since I have two other monitors. A good friend gave it to me over a year ago, and I'd hate to just trash it... So if you or someone you know would like to give it a good home, let me know. Figured I'd offer it to local furs before listing it on Craigslist.... ^_^;

Don't ya love it when someone whos not quite welcome to live with you anymore starts acting like they are supposed to be there? When they aren't? And isn't even helping pay rent or anything? And whenever I suggest that they don't have to, and shouldn't, be waiting until the very last minute to find a place for themselves and move out, it gets reeeeeal quiet. I swear, I have to stop being quite so generous...

I mean, I've known the individual for several years now. Met them through a network of anime convention goers, and have been roommates off and on ever since... But, I've been too kind. I get that the guy doesn't seem to know how to fully take care of himself, in the sense that he seems to loathe doing anything past sitting at his computer, and that he seems to prefer that other people take care of important things for him. But I just can't keep caring for him anymore. We've never exactly been anything more than friends, so why have I been so nice?

So I've been trying to work on an all foam toony-style feline head lately, mainly to see if I could pull off that style. Drunk roommate comes home, asking if the character is supposed to be that "yellow guy from Adventure Time". In reply I end up smacking the head halfway across the room in embarassed frustration. Urg. Well, sometimes I guess it's good to get outside opinions so you know when to quit while you're ahead. XD
