This time I wasn't on my bike. I was riding passenger with my wife in her car. Were both fine, and the other driver was fine, but the car... may not survive...

Not much else I can say. Sure there have been changes, but overall nothing seems too different than last year. Oh well, happy 27th Birthday to me =3

... I'm okay, just kind of pissed off. I was using the crosswalk, the light said it was my turn. I start riding my bike across the street and barely have time to brake as a fucking teenager with a jeep speeds through a left hand turn, not yielding and not seeing me started to cross. I was lucky I was able to stop...

...Til the little hatchback behind her had swung around when she stopped. It caught me and the driver completely by surprise. He braked fast, but not quite fast enough as his bumper knocked me sideways. I was lucky to get out of that with a minor scrape.

I told the guy I was fine, picked up my bike, and went back to the sidewalk to fix my brake cable. I waited for the next light and started to go across again... only to almost get hit by some old bitch in her Excursion because she wasn't yielding or seeing me despite it being fucking daylight and in clear view.

... Good news even. Thats a nice change of pace for once. Anyway, I quit my job at KFC which is good cause it's one of those literal dead-end job. No advancement, no pay raises, no nothing. Just working my ass off for little reward.

But Cobalt, what will you do without a job? How will you pay rent? Well thats some other news. Same day I quit I was hired on to do shipping stuff at a company that manufactures metal cutting tools and rifle parts. Work is a lot easier than KFC, plus a better paycheck to boot.

Also, my wife and I are looking to move to a bigger place cause we've been talking about kids for awhile and we can't do that in this little shoe box sized apartment. So thats my news for now. Later.

Did I forget to mention that the wedding went off without a hitch. The only thing that kinda annoyed me was that people kept asking if I was nervous and I really wasn't, but from what I heard my wife was freaking out a bit cause she was running a little behind cause her dress had sooooo many buttons up the back. Anyway, I'll try to get a few pictures up of the event.

ALSO, with the wedding stuff over I really need to get back into the swing of drawing again. I had some stuff on the back burner, but they're going to be a bit time consuming. So, I was thinking of mayber doing some kind of free quicky request thing in a week or two, maybe bob-ombs or something else simple like those. ... Do you think it would be a possibly commission material? Would people actually pay for the beads alone, or would I have to make them into bracelets and necklaces and keychains to make them better commission possibilities? I'd like to hear some input on this.

Also, I've been messing around a bit with a Dremel rotary tool. I originally bought it to etching on some champagne flutes for the wedding party, but it seems to not go to well with that. However, I've found it quite effective on the these bamboo tile beads that I got from a crafts store. They're stained near black and carving into it them allows the lighter color of the wood to show clearly...

... Such as the Bob-Omb design I just did. It looks really good, so I'll have to take a picture or something to show what it looks like. Not sure what I'll do yet with it. Possibly make like a bracelet or keychain or something... anyway, I'll try to get some stuff up for viewing.

Not only do I have a job that keeps me busy, but I'm also planning for my wedding in June and that's been eating up any freetime I have available.

But don't worry, I have quite a few sketches scanned up and I'm working on them little by little, so keep an eye out for any new works.

Let's see... I got new bicycle tires, new earbuds for my mp3 player, Ninja Master prep blender and food processor, huge ass coffee mugs, Modern Warfare 3, a new printer/scanner, some new glasses and tumblers, a new electric heater for the house, and lots and lots of chocolate.

She got me a new scanner/printer!!! I'm so happy I can uploads art again!

Well if it's not one thing, it's always another. Seems my printer is broken, and if my printer is broken, my scanner is not useble. It's like stuck in this endless loop of rebooting and it doesn't stop and I don't know how to fix it. Luckily I have a spare printer I can use in case of the situation... only I can't cause the programs for the old printer WILL NOT BE REMOVED no matter how many times I try to uninstall or remove them.

I'm also suddenly getting this weird error message "Parsing error in file C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\DigitalImaging\bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml" ... okay, what does that mean?! How do I fix that?! TELL ME YOU STUPID ERROR!!! I get this message when I try to access HP Solution Center. Anyone else had this before?!

So it seems I am unable to get my sketches into my computer to ink and color until these issues are fixed... shit

So we've been seeing an hearing a few kittens outside out apartment and it had saddened us because the little things are pretty young (around 8 or 9 weeks by my estimate) and they spend the night in the 20-something degree cold and in the rain, crying very loudly.

Now, we can't keep cats here, but we knew someone who would and knowing they were pretty young they could easily become accustomed to humans with a little time an attention. We had a friend lend us a live-capture trap and we set it up with some catfood outside.

Not 30 minutes go by (and 2 adult cat captures) we caught a little black kitten. We brought it inside and gave it some more food because apparently it was starving the way it scarfed it down. We took it to our friend that night and heard back today that the kitten is doing well and is staring to get used to being handled.

I've had my new computer for a couple weeks now... and I haven't really had much motivation to draw (I blame it on catching up on all the webcomics and videos I missed)

But I feel I need some motivation... or maybe just a push to get things going. I don't have a lot of time during the week, but I figure 3 months worth of weekends would be more than long enough to finish 3 Holiday Pinups.

Anyone remember those Holiday Pinups? Basically, you watchers nominate people and characters to appear in this project so long as they are not your own characters. I choose the 3 I like best, I contact the owners for permission, yada yada, etc. We have Holiday Pinups for all to enjoy.

I know what you're thinking. "But Cobe Claus, why can't I nominate my own fursona/character?" Firstly, never call me Cobe Claus. Secondly, the origin of this project was to encourage selflessness and generosity, from one person to another. That's why I do them for free.

Now, I did not get a chance to do the Holiday Pinups last year which I'm sorry for. It was a really hard time for me, but I'm at a better place now and feel I can do them again.

What do you think? Should I reanimate this time honored tradition of mine?

Yes, I did. The Beast (My old computer) was waaaaaaaay past it's prime. It is nearly 13 years old, which in computer years is... ancient. Frankly, it can no longer handle the processing of even sufing the internet with all the fancy flash ads and shit that congests the web these days >.>

Anyway, as soon as I finish formatting my harddrives the Beast will be disconnected and put down... with a shotgun... cause it's given me that much frustration over the years. Needless to say, the Beast will not be missed.
