I'm going to be coming back to Toronto on the 13th of March, and I would like to move away from my family's house ASAFP (Do i really need to say what the F stands for? xD) quite honestly, it was a STRESSFUL environment to live in, and i want to get away from it. Ive been in BC since late November to De-stress, and the last thing i want is to come back to Toronto and have all that stress come back :B
If you have a spot open for March, i can pay for the full months share of the rent, even though i would only be there for half the month. I am DESPERATE to be away from my family x.x If you are looking, or even know someone who is looking, leave a comment/send a note, and maybe we can discuss things o.o

Pffffff, Asking for Thoughts on Uploading older art

As im sure you ALL know, i LOVE to write stories for all my pictures. But as i went back into my gallery to look, I havent uploaded a whole lot this year, and sitting in my collection of commissions folder are pieces that have been sitting around for as long as two years x_X
With my constant depression and lack of motivation to write, it doesnt seem like I will be able to get all the stories done for quite some time still x.x
So i wonder, would you guys prefer i upload the art, and then post stories later as Im able to do them? Or would you prefer i keep trying to upload a picture and story at the same time? o.o
Opinions are appreciated!

Thinking of starting a Small Business. Ideas?

So... After a few life experiences, months of therapy and general interactions between family and others; I have come to the conclusion that I cannot put up with the bullshit of higher authority. "But Ducky, that's every single one of us, and we just suck it up and deal with it every day." Well for me... I have a very hard time sucking it up. If someone does something stupid, or expects me to do something stupid, I will call them out on it and tell it as it is. This gets me in trouble a lot... And after a year of therapy, I conclude that there is no way for me to put a MUTE button on myself...
HOWEVER! After a long time in therapy, there is ONE solution that has been suggested to me that i can see as reasonable, and with a good credit score, i could possibly achieve. That is: Staring my own Business
Yes, In order for me to be able to stop dealing with BS from higher authority, I have to BECOME the higher authority. My Therapist originally suggested that when i do look for work again that i apply for a job with a manager position; the problem with that is it just becomes a tier issue: Even though I am a "Manager" there is still a manager above me that i would still have to deal with that would probably want something stupid. So the ONLY way for me to be able to mentally sane, is to become the boss of my own company!
"Hey, that sounds like a pretty good idea Ducky! What kind of business would you open?" Now THIS is where i need your help ._. I may have a ton of great story ideas and such, but when it comes to opening a business, I have NO idea what is even in demand, what can be profitable, or even if i can do it x_X
"Stories! Why dont you just write a book and sell it? :)" Trust me, i would LOVE to be able to make writing books a full time career xD Unfortunately due to ongoing mental breakdowns, my writing abilities can go out the window in an INSTANT, and sometimes im not able to write for MONTHS x_X So the idea that I'd be a new author with no books out already trying to make a living off writing doesn't seem plausible at this point >_<
"Well you have your Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering? Why not start up a small IT company?" To be honest, the IT industry is about 50% of the reason for my mental collapse. With experiencing it for roughly 3 years, I can tell you that the stress is WAY too much, and I just no longer enjoy it... As much as i could probably do freelance programming, i just lack the willpower to want to even do it anymore...
"So What kind of things are you good at Ducky?" Well, what i really am good at that i enjoy doing is Driving. I really like to just be able to sit in the drivers seat, turn up the radio, and drive around. I have been seriously thinking of starting up a business, just as myself (Or maybe even a couple friends too) where i can buy a pickup truck, and be able to use it as an everyday work vehicle doing jobs.
SO! Can you guys help me out with thinking up ideas for a company where i can just drive a truck around and not have to worry about some bitch manager? This is for the big city, Toronto ON, the GTA. Need ideas for a kind of company that is in demand in the city o.o
IDEAS:

- 5th Wheel/Gooseneck delivery
Do Not Want:
- Snow Plow
- Garbage Pickup

Ducky's Overnight Trip to the HOSPITAL x_X NSFW

Late in the afternoon, i started developing a stomach pain which i just assumed was me being hungry (Since all i had for breakfast was a Bacon and Tomato sandwich) So when dinner came, i thought a nice plate would calm the pain down, and life would move on.
Well after dinner, helping mom with cleaning up, i noticed i was still feeling pretty icky and barfy, so i went to lay down for a bit, but the pain just kept getting worse >_< So finally my folks came into my room all concerned, and thought maybe my appendix was on its way out x_X I decided i would wait and see if the pain would get COMPLETELY unbearable first. Well not even 10 minutes later i was in the bathroom puking my guts out, as well as having the liquid shits, to which point i said "Okay, lets go to the hospital >_<"
The hospital is about a 20 minute drive away, since we live in middle-of-nowhere farm country, so we just drove there instead of waiting for an ambulance. On the way there, had to pull over a couple times so i could puke my guts out more. Thankfully i was able to hold my ass long enough to wait to get to a bathroom at the hospital >.<
I was less than impressed with the ER reception at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital... Heaven forbid a real emergency happen <_< Took me about an hour to get a bed, and an hour before the doctor came to see me. I was in too much pain to notice, but my mom had caught wind that the nurses thought i was "faking" it. Then the doctor came in and said "no no, this guy is SERIOUS, he needs an emergency CT scan RIGHT NOW" to which they were apparently more attentive :P
Keep in mind, with all this waiting period, i feel DEHYDRATED to all hell, and Im begging my mom to find me water, but she said i couldnt have any in case i needed to go under the knife, since you can have fluids before surgery >_< So while i was pretty pissed off, i knew she was right... That didnt stop it from being torturing >_<
But after the Doctor ordered the CT scan, she gave me a NICE shot of Morphine, to which i was off to la-la land for a bit. Then i got into the CT scanner. She told me that injecting the dyes into my hand was going to hurt a bit... oh no, it hurt a LOT x_X Enough to snap me out of my morphine drowsy like state @.@ so they did the CT scans, and they put me in a quarantine like room because they feared i might have some kind of highly contagious bug.
In the end, my appendix was fine, and I indeed did have a really nasty SuperBug x_X Im home now, but Im not going anywhere for at least a week, and i have to deal with puking and the shits for a few days >_<
So yeah, not a fun night x_X

Ducky's Mental Recovery

Battling depression sucks, especially when you have about 5 different things all happening at once that just add on top of it all, and doesn't give you a chance to get over the last thing. The end of November really sucked for me, between my family, employment situation, and personal relationships; shit just didnt hit the fan... it got sucked into a jet engine and blasted through the whole house.
But the good news is, I've moved from Ontario to BC for the winter time. I've been here just over a week, and everything is fine so far, and my brain is actually getting some time to recover. Having good days, having bad days. Been rather busy out here, so i havent really had much time to write a whole lot. Hopefully by Christmas ill have some kind of story to post :<
So yeah, I again apologize to all my friends... Im not trying to be distant from you, I'm just still in a really bad mindspace, and i dont mean to ignore you on IMs x_X Please just keep baring with me, and hopefully i can now get some peace and quiet here in BC to let my brain just get over all this sadness and doubt.

I know its been a while since I've uploaded anything, and I'm sure you've noticed a lot of commissioned pieces on various artists pages that have been up for AGES which have not yet been uploaded x_X
There are a number of reasons for this.
If you've been following me for a while, you know I've been battling depression, and in the recent weeks it has become very bad. I was let go from another job, more or less for the same reasons as the last 2 jobs I've been to. Whereas the last job was because of my frustration with stupid clients, this job was because of my frustration with a project manager. A real bitch cunt of a project manager.
I can get frustrated with stupid things really easily, and at the last job where i had to interact with their stupidity, i thought this job would be better, since all client interaction was done through the project manager. I didnt count on the project manager being a downright stupid bitch.
She was demanding, mentally abusive, and had expectations higher than any university professor i ever had... She never thanked me for any of the work i did, never showed any appreciation for putting in overtime... She was just a downright bitch, and we butted heads over her demandingness.
In the end though, she got her way, and i was fired :| I have been a wreck ever since. I feel like i fail in life where i cannot deal with people of higher authority. I seem to make friends just fine, and am good in social situations, but the thoughts of having to deal with all these managers and clients again just makes me sad as all hell.
I honestly dont know what to do... I feel like shit. Im confident in my technical abilities, and at all 3 jobs ive had, even as i was let go ive always been complimented on my technical smartness, but that my personal relationships with people were not strong enough to keep me around. Its a real blow to self esteem.

I know you guys have all been trying to talk to me lately, and i feel like an ass for not responding all the time. I just feel so withdrawn and useless, i feel like i cant respond x_X I dont mean to act this way, im just horribly depressed and dont feel like talking >_<
So yeah... as for stories and submissions, they still may be slow to come. I may be going home to BC for a few months to try and recover some mental health, and ill keep you updated as to how that goes

She was demanding, mentally abusive, and had expectations higher than any university professor i ever had... She never thanked me for any of the work i did, never showed any appreciation for putting in overtime... She was just a downright bitch, and we butted heads over her demandingness.
In the end though, she got her way, and i was fired :| I have been a wreck ever since. I feel like i fail in life where i cannot deal with people of higher authority. I seem to make friends just fine, and am good in social situations, but the thoughts of having to deal with all these managers and clients again just makes me sad as all hell.
I honestly dont know what to do... I feel like shit. Im confident in my technical abilities, and at all 3 jobs ive had, even as i was let go ive always been complimented on my technical smartness, but that my personal relationships with people were not strong enough to keep me around. Its a real blow to self esteem.

UUUUUUGH *Character Stealing Rant*
Posted 14 years agoSo for the second time in just a couple of weeks, someone decided that they would take Janice without my permission, and start using them for role playing purposes. This was once again on F-List, which seems to be a popular place for people to go for role playing these days <.<
So originally i asked an Admin to take the character down, which the Admin this time (Different Admin from the first experience) was like: "Why dont you just ask them to take it down?" so i thought 'okay' and actually did note the person to remove the character.
I was actually surprised by the amount of hostility the person gave me :/ When i first asked, they were all "Okay, but can i keep Janice listed as one of my characters?" Ummmm... No... Janice is not your character, so no, you cannot keep her as your character...
This is where the 'Holy Shit' starts
I have seen this in so many journals now from other people, so I'm sure this is nothing new to some of you. The person actually responded with "Come on, this is a form of marketing! You should be grateful!" Ummmmm, first of all, a) You should really ask permission to market someone's character, and b) the things you were marketing? Were a complete misrepresentation of the character I had created. So the person gives me the old "Fine, Whatever <_<" routine.
You would think it would stop there right? Oh no...
I got one last note from them with: "So what's going to happen with the other Janice? Your FAIL of a character?" Excuse me? xD I hardly think Janice can be considered a 'FAIL' character, seeing as how so many people seem to want her :P
But quite honestly, i dont care what people think of Janice. I'm going to keep writing my stories about her, developing her character, and i will continue to enjoy doing so :3 As to whether people out there like the stories or not, well that's their choice xD I'm going to do what i like to do best, and if people dont like the way i develop Janice's character, they can stop watching me :3 I know some people out there read my stories and think that I'm being totally unrealistic... Well that's your opinion xD I'll continue to write what i enjoy x3
SO LET'S GET ONE THING CLEAR
Janice is MY character. I dont need anybodies help 'Marketing' her. I'm approaching the 5000 watcher mark, i really honestly think by this point i dont need any advertizing to find her xD I do not want people going around and using her, ESPECIALLY without asking me :/ I thank everyone who's noted me with these people who seem to think it's okay to just 'advertize' my character for me.
Anybody who uses Janice, or ANY of my characters on a role playing site will be asked to take them down. NO EXCEPTIONS The only, ONLY, person to ever role play using my characters is me, and me only :P

My thoughts on e621

Quite personally, I don't mind seeing my pictures there o.o When people upload and tag pictures, i always seem to get a credit for the artwork and characters, so that's perfectly fine with me :3 and also the original artists get the credit as well.
e621 is not a site who is trying to take your art for money. They're just an image board like fchan, Pawsru, and The Goddamn Furry Board. It's not one of those role playing sites where people take your images/characters and try to pass them off as their own original character for role playing purposes.
The comments on the images can be quite a bit more brutal than what you would see here on FA, but quite honestly none of them have made me totally blow a gasket or anything. Some of them make me laugh hysterically just by how stupid they are xD
My ONE gripe about people posting on e621? Y U NO POST ALL OF MY PICTURES??? I know theres one or two people here who follow me on FA and will post my pictures on e621 shortly after they've been posted... But why do you leave some of them out? Are not all of them post worthy? xD
And Why, WHY does nobody upload Sarah's ref sheet to any of these image boards? D: Does Sarah not deserve love too? ;.; I've seen a couple image boards like e621 where they will have Janice and Rachels ref sheets... BUT NO SARAH! ;.;

I'm not dead yet, but some days i certainly do feel like it x.x I have just been going through an incredibly rough period right now, and this past weekend i finally buckled under the pressure of the stress x.x I am just glad it was a long weekend, and that i had the extra day to just try and get my mind back in gear, because boy did i need it...
For those that dont know, I have been dealing with a particularly difficult Project Manager at my workplace. She is someone who is very set in her ways, and is someone who is used to getting her way. While i usually have no problem with trying to accommodate someone's management style, when they come off as rude and aggressive, it makes me less inclined to want to follow their way. She is not a nice person, and when she acts aggressive towards me, it makes me aggressive and frustrated... It's hard to explain, but she is mentally abusive, and having grown up almost my entire life dealing with mental abuse from bullies, i dont take too kindly to it...
I wish i could say that this was my only problem, but there are some other things... I guess it could be my own fault, but i've felt disconnected from some of my friends lately... It could be that my stress has passed onto them and they dont want to talk to me as a result... I do apologize to anyone who i may have affected, i dont mean to be passing on my stress like that x.x To those of you who have been there for me though, even if it's just to talk for a bit, thank you ;.; I know I've been a bit of a downer lately, and i really dont mean to be >.< But it really means a lot to have you guys there...
On top of all this, I've been coming across some financial issues recently, and again, this is my own fault from stress... You see, when i get really really depressed, i can lose all control and willpower, and sometimes i can go a little crazy when it comes to shopping for something for me... Im not in trouble, no no, not by any means. I can certainly pay off the debts i have with the job i have. However, because of this, I cant really keep to a verbal agreement i had with my family in regards to paying off my student loans faster x.x So while i have the means to manage the major debts i have, i am under a lot of stress because i feel bad for not being able to meet the agreement i made with my family regarding my student loans x.x I should be back on my feet soon, but its still stressful... I need to find some way to control myself, but i dont know how... My mom is the same way almost, except when she gets depressed, she goes gambling... I dont gamble, never really liked it the few times ive done it, but i do have that spending problem x.X
So, i do apologize to everyone for everything... As you can probably guess, my story writing has ceased to be for the time being... I'm trying to pick back up, but until i get all this stress under control, i dont know when i will be able to get back into the full swing of things...

I went to power up my laptop this morning... and no display... So i phoned Asus, and im going to be shipping it into them to get it fixed.
I'll only have access to a computer from work, so that means no Skype or messengers at all for a couple weeks :X

So, i have a new character coming! Her name is Holly, and shes a brown Border Collie. She is in no way related to Janice, but she will be involved with her.
One thing i cant seem to figure out right now is, what should she do for a career? o.o
She's an overall quiet girl, but she's not shy like Sarah, but not as outgoing as Janice or Rachel.
She's a very petite girl, about 5'6" and small boobies. Red hair, Brown eyes.
I need to think of a possible career for her xD
