Poll Time: If i were to do a collab art book with
spazzykoneko and have it ready for Anthrocon 2011, who would buy one? The book would probably be about 60 pages, 4 stories, 15 pages per story, and have a pic on each page.
As far as the pairings in the stories, i was thinking of having

Delays, Delays x.x
Posted 15 years agoHey everyone, just a quick update from me,
I am currently in Virginia for work right now, and while i thought getting away from the stresses of home would allow me to write more, turns out being on a client site is waaaaaay more stressful than I originally thought... So unfortunetly, the 2 stories i was supposed to have ready yesterday have now been pushed back to next Monday, and HOPEFULLY nothing will delay that D:
I need to work on moldred's story after i get those two done, so hopefully i wont delay too too long in getting more stories up after.

Update on Ducky + Stories + Donations

I know you havent heard much from me lately, but just know that im alive! Things in RL have really been sucking my motivation down. First i got sick, then my ex girlfriend kept coming back to haunt me, and then some personal issues at home.
But! I think im doing better, so i hope to get back to normal soon :) I have a huge backlog of images to post, both commissions and giftart, a lot of them i would like to write a story for, which im sure a lot of you would like to see as well :D
If you want to keep track of the stories im working on, then look in my journal footer to see what projects are coming up, and hopefully at some point i will be able to put solid release dates on them!
Donations Update!
I just want to thank the many fans of my stories for helping make contributions towards more stories with pictures! I know ive been a little slow at getting to writing lately, but hopefully the next few stories will make up for a bit of my lateness :)

Just a little update from me. I'm currently a little sick with the flu right now, so my motivation to write has been sucked dry in the past little bit. Even as i write this right now, im high on a lot of cold meds, lol.
But! Once im out of this, i should be able to get back into writing fairly shortly! I currently have 17 commissioned pics backlogged in which i need to write something for, as well as a few giftarts which i may write something for :3
I'm currently just waiting for moldred to resend me some reference links to his characters before i write his commissioned story that he won from me and Spazzy's auction. So as soon as i have those character references, i will begin his story :3 I wont be like someone else and put personal and paysite (Ha! I WISH i was doing paysite stories xD) stories ahead as priority over commissioned work :3
So thats my update from me! ^^
and also, ive put my List of Trustworthy Artists to Commission in my journal header for all to look up when they want to, so first time commissioners can get an idea as to who would be good to commission as a first timer, and even long time commissioners can get a good idea as well

jessicaelwood has refunded me my money in full, and has even gotten me the sketch to my original commission done which can be seen here: http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/.....ommission1.jpgReally, the sketch looks good i think. I think it would look good colored up. But at this point, i have my money back, and i am no longer going to pursue Jess to finish the image. If she does decide to color it in the end, then that's her decision.
I will be making an edit to my artists beware post shortly (and probably just copying/pasting this because its 3:30 in the morning and i just got back from an Iron Maiden concert and im tired as all hell.)
But im happy now, i have my money, and i did finally get to see a sketch. My quarrels with her are done, though you can still go see my Artists Beware post for reference later, as the info will remain up.

AC review :D (Part 1)
Posted 15 years agoso i know, probably all of you are sick of seeing AC journals by now, but i just had to do my own review on it, because OMG IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME!!! 83
i was off to a bit of a rough start though, because at the border, Homeland security was giving me a rough time. I pulled up, and the first guy seemed cool, asked me where i was going, etc. But then some jackass guard decides he's going to come up and be Mr. Tough Guy, banging my tires with a nightstick and giving me what seemed like the worlds longest interrogation (seriously, i was scared x.X)
But! after that, i managed to make it to pittsburgh in time to pick up spazzykoneko and 
kayindoshi from the airport. The first thing we did was get to the hotel and all of us pass out (we were all so tired xD) and then once we were up, went out for a healthy nomming of some sushi 83 It was all good, except i had some sea urchin, and it was gross x.X but everything else was fantastic! :3 and then Spazzy did me a really awesome sketch in my sketchbook, woo! 83
The second day was good too! we met up with
jennnekochan and 
fluff-kevlar and we went out to an italian place for some lunch, and omg the food was good! But holy crap they give you HUGE portions of food o.O I ordered some chicken n broccoli fettuchini and the plate was massive! Not to mention the fact that Spazzy and Kayin both ordered these pizza roll things and they got like, 8 of them each o.o we didnt even get to the cheese bread xD
After that, i got the chance to hang out with
missmab at her hotel and torture her until she drew me something she drew me a very awesome pic of Janice as a member of the Nact'Larn clan from her comic Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures :3
After that was another night of SUSHI with a large group of awesome peoples! ^^ They had a roll there called the "after death" roll, which holy crap that made my throat burn for at least a good 10 minutes D: It was REALLY HOT! But the food there was great! I would definitely do Sushi Kim's again if i make it to AC next year :3 After some sushi, hung around in the zoo for a bit, and then went up to our room to watch the new FUTURAMA!!! Yes! Futurama is back, and it is still awesome stuff! :3
Friday, the first big day for the con. People must have been lining up outside the dealers room at early o'clock, because holy crap the line was huge when i showed up at 11 D: Luckily i got in and was able to run into the artists alley and grab a sketch commission from
rainbowpanda x3 but man, trying to get sketch commissions at AC was brutal compared to Furnal Equinox o.o but! i did manage to meet a bunch of awesome people there! :3 I also got a sketch from 
gnaw that day, and it turned out so hot and sexy x3
Then Jenn took us out to a Sandwhich place a little ways from the con, but wow! If there was one thing i really liked about Pittsburgh, it was the food, nom! But anyway, this place had sandwhiches, and they served them with coleslaw and fries ON THE SANDWHICH! oh man it was amazing D: Then we stopped by a comic place, Kayin managed to pick up a bunch of deadpool comics, and Futurama figures, but i actually found Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on Vinyl! Yes, i have a Vinyl copy of Dark side of the moon! Though i gave it to my dad as a belated fathers day gift :3
I felt really bad that night though, because me, Jenn, and Fluff went up to a wine tasting, and i didnt have any wine ._. I take meds at night, and they say "no alcohol for you!" so i wasnt really able to have anything besides a coke >.<

A Warm Welcoming for Sarah :3

I'm not dead yet! And as promised, yesterday was the big revealing of my 100th submission, which was my new character Sarah :3 Well technically shes not really new, as ive been in the creating process of her for many months now, but shes new to all of you x3 I really hope you all enjoy her and the pictures and stories that she'll come to be in in the future :3
My plan now is to wait a week or so, and then i will start posting the backlog of pictures that i still have to post, theres about 20 or so, and I will gradually put them up in my gallery over the month of June, maybe into July depending on how much i stall x3
Anthrocon is coming up in June, and i will be going!! 83 So if you're going to AC, have a look for me there, and feel free to say hi! :3

My 100th submission - THIS SATURDAY

As you all look at my submission count on my front page, I am currently at 99 submissions. the 100th submission is certainly a milestone to celebrate, and this Saturday, i am going to be releasing something that i have been working on for a while now! I would have sprung this surprise on you sooner, but some RL issues have been making me depressed and tired for a bit, but now Ducky is back into the writing groove, and you should expect to see something very special this Saturday which i think you all will enjoy :3
What is this special secret surprise I have?? I guess ill just leave you in suspense for the week :3
I know I havent submitted any submissions in a long time, but ive really been wanting to save this special event for the 100th submission. I currently have about 20 pictures backlogged of commissioned artwork that still needs to be uploaded x.x; So after the celebration this weekend, you should be seeing a flood of more images posted to my gallery happening at the end of may/beginning of June :3

Essay Contest - WINNER!!!
Posted 15 years agoWell i must say thank you to everybody that participated! It was certainly interesting to read everybody's essays :3 But now that the contest is closed, only one winner can be chosen! It was really tough to decide on, because there was some really good ones submitted!
But anyway, my favorite of the bunch, and the winner of the contest is

Here is the winning Essay for all to see :3
Rachel is one of the most entertaining, adorable, sexy, playful, and loving furry characters I have ever seen. She is sweet, but at the same time devious. She is sexy, but at the same time intelligent. The fact that she can switch on a dime as needed for each situation is very endearing, and makes me want to know more about her and to see more of her. But the most important trait that I have found with Rachel is her independence; sexually, financially, and in every other aspect of life, she is completely independent.
This can be demonstrated by different stories or pieces of artwork that Rachel has been featured in. For example, the very first piece I saw her in was Ride ‘em Cowgirl, which featured her as a very playful, cheerful spirit. It was the first time I had seen a character completely free in her sexuality, and it was exciting to see that she could be so free and independent, especially in today’s world, where sexual independence is usually frowned upon. Then, in the art piece After Hours Swim, I continued seeing Rachel’s independent side, though in this piece it appeared to be a more serious independence, rather than the playful independence she displayed in Ride ‘em Cowgirl. In several other pieces as well, from Just another ordinary night to Dorrals Birthday, it is mentioned that Rachel lives by herself and has to support herself. It’s also noted in the description for Dorrals Birthday that she is resourceful when funds are low. Rachel even gets to show off her maternal side in It’s a boy!, when it’s revealed that her playful sexual encounter with Kaige led to a child. Even then, while it’s not directly spoken about, it’s clear that Rachel has been raising the child by herself for a while, as the child is capable of speech and recognition. She also says that she is capable of raising the child herself if need be.
If we’re to examine Rachel from an even more sexual standpoint, I found it nice that she was exploring her sexuality and becoming aware, even as a young fox, as noted in Never too Young to Look Hot. With awareness starting that young, by the time Janice brought Flux into the picture, Rachel was someone who knew what she liked, when and how. She was also observant of her partner (or partners), and what they needed from her in order to get the most out of each experience they had with her. This doesn’t even need to be sexual all of the time – such as in Wild Mornings Part 2, when she comforts a humiliated Flux – even though in that case it ended up going to sex eventually. As for the kink factor, it’s noted in several stories, from Wild Mornings to Just another ordinary night that Rachel likes sexual pain and anal play. It’s very sexy when we get to see Rachel getting what she wants from her partners, but it’s also sexy from another standpoint. Rachel is obviously comfortable enough with her own sexuality and with her partners that at some point in their relationship, she let her partners know that she liked these things to be a part of her sex life. This confidence and comfort level with her partners provides the reader with a more comfortable, pleasurable experience in knowing that Rachel and her partners are on the same page and working with each other.
The individual story I am choosing to critique for this is Lonely Nights, because not only is it one of my favorite stories of Rachel, it both underscores and undermines her independent nature at the same time. The story features Rachel in the middle of her heat cycle, with her already highly sexual nature cranked up and left on high. The story shows her desperation, and it shows her trying to find someone else to help get her off. She tries calling five different places before finally settling on masturbation. While female masturbation is an empowering image, showing that you can in fact give yourself pleasure in a society that thinks women shouldn’t have that kind of pleasure on their own, the fact remains that she did not think of masturbation first. Her first thoughts were to go to someone else to give her pleasure. This is a complete reverse from the Rachel shown before. She might have gone to other characters for sexual pleasure, but she didn’t necessarily need them. In Lonely Nights, even the title implies that she needs someone else to give her pleasure. She is even willing to risk pregnancy in order to get her release. Finally, after every other route is closed, she goes to her vibrator. Judging by how quickly Rachel reaches her climax, the vibrator should have been the obvious solution from the very beginning. She wouldn’t have had to have waited for someone to come over, nor would she have had to rely on someone else to give her what she needed. Once she begins masturbating, however, she returns to the Rachel I first met months ago, independent, sexy and free. The story itself is not badly written; in fact, it’s a nice, enjoyable read for when one is alone in their room and in need of some satisfaction. There are only the most minor of grammar issues in the story, and they are few and far between. From the humor standpoint, it is also funny to watch Rachel go through the different dud numbers. It reminds me of an x-rated comedy sketch, even up past the point where Rachel is talking to her vibrator. It’s also a story that I come back to repeatedly, because I like stories that show female masturbation in a positive light. It is unfortunate that Rachel only came to that conclusion after nothing else would work, but the fact that she did reach it and went with it with a positive attitude is a major deal in a society that is afraid of female empowerment and sexuality.
Rachel is and always will be for me a sexual role model, and one that perhaps a lot more women need in their lives. She is an independent woman, supporting herself, doing what she wants, and being one of the happiest individuals around. She knows who she is and what she wants, and just seeing her confidence in herself and her independent nature is enough to inspire everyone who reads about her. Even during those brief moments when she lapses out of her independence, she comes back to it in the end. I deeply admire Rachel and everything she does, and I look forward to reading more of her adventures in the future.

I will pick Janice then. What could i say about her appearance, what you already don't know? She is amazingly pretty. She has the "curves" that makes hearts beat faster. It's your fault really, that i think on naugthy thoughts, as you allways put Her into clothing, that gives Her body a sexy look. What i like about Her beside the obvious girly lines?
Well Her hair is nice...and long. My fursona has short hair, which can be pulled, but long haired girls have it easier. Now i don't favour that agressive style, but the possibility is there, and the possibility to wear it in different style. Short hair is limited, so i like Janice's long hair. the blue color halfway isn't disturbing, but makes Her unique and recognizable. Often i recognized Her on Other artists page before you re-posted the commission about Her! That's something! You made Her recognizable.
She has pink pawpads. I'm a fan of pink pawpads. I'm not a foot fetishist, yet i find pink pawpads cute. I want to tickle them and massage them, maybe kiss them as well. They look cute to me because they pink.
Natural nipple/pussy color. Yep, some users/artists making their fursonas special by making the fun parts in different colors. Blue nipples, glowing green pussy, and such. I'm a fan of the usuall in these cases. I'm glad She has every naugthy spot as the form i like to see. ^///^

Part 2:
Now there's the catch. I'm a roleplayer myself. A fair one by judging myself, and a great one as others telling me. You know it when you try it out! XD So i like to read a good story, be it of any kind. It must not be JUST sexual to get my attention. It helps a little, but not much. With that said:
"New Health Care Stimulus Plan" is easily your best work for me. Why? Many reasons:
1. I remember it without any deep thinking done. Writting a story that stays in mind sure is a nice achivement.
2. It has wordplay. I love wordplay, especially creative ones. I'm not having anything against re-working old jokes, since for a newborn that will be new as well. But the mosaic-words are creatively fitting in the "story", and it has not the "forced in to make it sound hawt" feeling. Saying naugthy things without pointing it out is a tallent.
3. Fetish stuff: Yep it has a major fetish in focus, namely the sexy nurse-/doctor- play! Oh yeah, that alone is a major win for most of the furries. Getting sexed up by sexy health personel is a secret fantasy for most person. For me too. I like my health personel to be naugthy! <3
4. You "whore" Canada yet again. And doing it in a fun, attention-grabbing way! Yay! You're doing it right! XD Cleverly matched location names with the mosaic words. It's not just funny...It's educational a bit.

Part 1:
While both Janice and Rachel are very easy girls to be a fan of, Janice stands out as particularly special. Janice has a few particular qualities that surpass some of Rachel's best, even as good as that best is. She is more kinky and more dominant, and her love life is a more beautiful thing that Rachel's or many others. They are both wonderful girls, but Janice is, in a few important ways, more wonderful.

It is wonderful to see the amount of character development and description you do put in, and giving your style and structure some work would only make that all the better. Primarily, remember to indent your paragraphs and separate dialogue, only attaching to that what is relevant in terms of time and action; focus on reducing wordiness using descriptive words and being more implicit with your details; and above all find a style that both works for you and keep improving.
