It's not hard

It's still in its infancy. All I've got is 94 page notes document with some 21k words on it. No art or anything like that, just a plan... But that should (hopefully) be changing soon. I'm gonna save a big reveal for when I've got the first piece of art, which should, like I said, hopefully be soon. I'm planning for, optimistically, an early 2026 release date. Could be sooner, will probably be later, but it will be happening. No time like the present to start building up hype, though, right?

As the title says, does anybody actually read my story? Don't misunderstand this journal; I'm NOT going to stop posting it if nobody responds (which I expect) or anybody points out the obvious, that being FA's userbase is generally not very interested in non-porn media, stories especially. (which is a risk I already accounted for)

They just get no interaction, and when I post them people wind up favoriting my other stuff but not the new chapter lol

So I'm not really super active here (as evidenced by the fact that my journals are all years old and I haven't done a new one in forever) so just as an fyi: I'm super active on twitter so if you actually give a shit about what I have to say, feel free to follow me there. As of now I've embraced the true voyeur of a furry (which, by the way, has made me feel awesome) and as such have set my icon to something a bit more... showy. :P Along with that, my libido has reached such an intense point of being out of control that I finally outed myself (though I wasn't exactly trying very hard to hide it) that I'm SUPER into armpits. :U Hence the uh.. choice of crop on my avatar on twitter. :P Dunno if it's the voyeur in me or just getting the fact that I was hiding it off my chest but it gave me a super big rush when I talked about it so I'll save people who don't want to dig through my tweets to see the talk I had and just go over the major points again here:

1. First I wanna clarify that armpits are hands down my favorite fetish. I may seem like a foot guy, and I am, feet are fucking awesome, buuuuuuuut I prefer armpits just a little bit more. :P Even just the word armpit is enough to strongly catch my attention. Been nervous about saying it outright for a long time, though anybody who's willing to make some (pretty solid) assumptions and looks at my tags could probably have figured it out. I mean, my favorites gallery isn't full of guys with their arms up because I like elbows. :P

2. Something to clarify though: Yeah, I like armpits. The keyword is ARMPITS: I didn't say "hairy armpits" or "stink" or "fat bulls who need to fucking shower sometimes." Just like looking at them mostly. In art, anyway. RP-wise, rubbing, nuzzling, and licking. Guys posing for me in RP is neat, but it's only really a way to tease me or set up for the real fun. :P

ANYWAY, I work with small things with my interest; little bit of hair is okay, little bit of musk is okay. Okay, honestly, a moderate amount of musk is okay, just not like. Visible green lines "stink." Thankfully it's not enough to warrant getting art for just the smell cuz I honestly think smelling them is a little weird. Not gross, just weird. Which I know is strange cuz I just said I like how they smell but I work in weird ways. I will ABSOLUTELY lick an armpit though (RP-wise, anyway) so expect art to the tune of that in the future. :P

3. I mentioned the extremes in point 2, which is also the kind of subject of point 3. The people who are out about their armpit fetishes honestly kind of bother me. Not because they're out, but because they're out and crazy about it. Like, the people I know who are publically out about their interests either take it to gross extremes (the hair/stink lines/etc.) or it's the ONLY THING they can talk about or do (and/or they put way too much effort into it. There's one guy I'm thinking of in particular but I won't name names). Oh, and usually they come packaged with some other really extreme fetishes and it's kind of offputting. Not to insult anyone who's like that, it's just a little uncomfortable for me is all. Point is though, I don't intend to be like that. I may get a bit of art with armpits as a focus in the future but I'm not entirely going to become devoted to them. You'll still get lots of feet pictures, and vanilla stuff. I can't make any promises I won't have a LOT of art with my arms up though, but oh well. :P

4. Now that I'm out though I need to say something that I'm sure other people who are in my situation (like them on the same level as me but maybe don't want to be public about it) will agree with: TAG YOUR SHIT RIGHT. It's really frustrating having to dig through mountains of stink lines drawn in MS Paint and just really really gross disturbing shit to find a tame picture of a guy with his arms up. (ps feralise draws them stupid good <3) So forreal. If you take the time to draw a guy with his arms up and actually put some effort into the armpits (though for my sake literally just having the arms up is enough), please tag it.

5. Now finally I want to say that this is NOT an open invitation to add me/try to RP with me simply because we share a (not really niche apparently but people don't talk about it much if they have it) fetish. Trust me, I get it. People who are out about it are rare and enticing. I've been there. You're welcome to admire mine openly if you like the art I have with them, fantasize, whatever. Just don't try to add me to RP out some armpit stuff. Not making this journal because I'm ready and willing to lick every armpit that comes my way. :P

I play Warframe. Like, a lot. I have over 400 hours on it, which could be more if I didn't spend 90% of my time at school/work. But my God, it is ruled by RNGesus 100%, and he is NOT a benevolent God.

For those of you who don't know, the entire game is based on mountains of lifeless nobodies going to war with RNGesus. Random chance for new resources to make stuff, new mods to improve stuff, new stuff to have new stuff, etc.

Recently, they added this thing that is so heavily RNG that literally simply owning the reward legitimately is a god-given miracle in it's own right.

Warframe has it's own economy. It's not NEARLY as complex as ours, but it's there nonetheless. Basically, any new thing they release becomes the rarest thing immediately, and by proxy, the most expensive thing to trade for. The game has currency that you can get with real money called Platinum, which is used for buying useless cosmetic crap, skipping the farming of stuff (which I find pointless because that's LITERALLY the point of the game), etc. I remember the most jarring of these was with a specific Warframe, known as Rhino Prime.

There are two stages of most Warframes. Their base form, and then a "prime" form that comes from farming for parts in something called the Orokin Void. They're hard to get into and even harder to complete, but the prime ANYTHING (weapons, warframes, etc) is always better than it's non-prime counterpart. you can sell prime parts for platinum. Rhino Prime was, a long time ago, unarguably the best warframe in the game. It is nearly indestructible when built right.

Then U..14 I think happened. They released Loki Prime. Loki being another warframe. Literally within one day, Rhino Prime went from costing around.. 200 platinum (quite a lot) for a full set, to around 60 (the average price of a common prime weapon/warframe's full set). Then it happened to Loki with Nyx, and then to Nyx with Nova.

That industry is not nearly as cutthroat as the specific Warframe this journal is designed to whine about. Recently there was an event where one of the adorably psychotic mad scientists, named Alad V (I'll call him Salad for short) experimented with the "zombies" of the game, also known as the infested. He himself got infested, and became Mutalist Alad V. After that event, you were given the option to go hunt him down and kill him to get a new warframe, known as Mesa. Mesa kind of has the same quality as Rhino, except instead of being indestructible, she can literally delete everything around you and all you need is some energy and the left mouse button.

Hoo boy.

In order to get to Mutalist Alad V, you must do the following.

1. obtain and complete the Patient Zero quest, which is about 5 easy missions that gives you the Mutalist Alad V Assassinate Key blueprint, allowing you to craft the key to go murder him.

2. Wait for an infestation outbreak, which is a special type of mission that shows up from time to time that offers special rewards if you complete the missions a certain amount of times.

3. Wait for a Mutalist Alad A Nav Coordinate to show up as the reward for one of these missions.

4. Do that specific mission 3 times.

5. Wait for the infestation to be purged from that mission, which will then give you the coordinate.

6. Complete 2-5 two more times to get 3 of the coordinates.

7. Craft the key, then wait 1 hour for it to complete.

8. Run the not particularly difficult mission, as Salad himself is kind of a whimpy boss.

9. Hope RNGesus is smiling on you (he isn't) when you extract, and you get a new part of Mesa.

There are three parts you need to get. The helmet, the chassis, and the systems. Pretty much universally the systems are the hardest part of any warframe to get.

I did 12 mutalist alad v runs. 12. That's... 3*3*12+12 120 missions. Well. It should have been. I had some help from  quenny-derpdragon and  cynicalstarr so I can't say I did ALL the work. Thanks you two <3

Anywho, after all of that toil and trouble, I FINALLY got mesa's systems. I could have cried. <3

Anyway. That's all I wanted to say. Below though, feel free to debate Warframe, or squee about Warframe, cuz Warframe is great. :3 And, I want to feel like my journals actually mean something! :D

Jesus Christ on a stick  quenny-derpdragon has ruined me.

He talked about Danganronpa for like months and I was like I gotta see this shit. Then I saw it. And it was AMAZING. And now I'm obsessed. (I consider having half of the game's OST on my iPod obsessed)

And I keep subconsciously designing shit for a fanfiction that I'm never going to write, because I'd need to collect people from around FA who wanted to be in it, and I wouldn't update regularly enough for them to actually care enough. But I really wanna do it.

When I get bored I sit here and redesign the minigames. I've even got the overarching plot done, and even a murder and a trial or two. I wanna do it really bad, but at the same time I don't. So, here I am, asking a question. Your thoughts on all of this? Would you guys like to play a Killing Game? Not nearly as good as the original mind you, but I dunno. I'm here for opinions.

M'bout 6 years ago I was a lurker on SoFurry, or at that time, Yiffstar. And it was quite the thing, I had to say. The art was kinda sub-par compared to what it is today, and the stories were hi-fuckin'-larious. One of them stands out in my memory really really vividly, even to this day.

I cannot for the life of me remember the exact name. But I THINK it was My Highschool Experience, or something like that. It was based off of ANOTHER story entitled My Journey Through High School. The latter was pretty alright actually, but the former, while in no way attempting to insult the original author, was hysterical. A year or so back I remembered it, and being filled with a warm sense of nostalgia, went back to look for it. Aaand.. I couldn't find it. It was really disappointing :c

I don't hate the story. In fact, I love it. It was one of the very very few stories I remember from my early time as a furry. It was written by a guy who's screen name was boomerthemagnificent, and the main character was a dragon named Kevin. I've been thinking about it again lately, and that's brought me here.

The chances of anybody seeing this journal who has actually seen the story and knows what I'm talking about is hilariously slim. But I can't help but ask. Does anybody know about this story? Does anybody, by a stroke of blind luck, still HAVE this story? Probably not. But it'd be awesome if somebody did. xD

I have been murdering myself with Smash ever since I got it for Christmas. I kinda stopped playing excessively lately, but the last time I had made any large amount of progress (and wasn't just repetitively dying in All-Star mode) I had completed I think 129 of the challenges and had 680 out of 716 trophies; that was like, January 20th.

Why am I nolifing the FUCK out of this game, when I'm a college student with many important things to do? Well, funnily enough, for that exact reason! :D

My school's hosting a Smash tournament. And I'm going to enter it. And hopefully win. Jk, I'll TOTALLY win :3

Even if I only place, I still get a huge amount knocked off my tuition, which is fantastic. It's in April, and we're having a practice tournament in a few weeks (On the 22nd). I should prooobably go back to training with Toon Link. I've developed bad habits from All-Star. xD
