CHAOS DAEMONS/DAEMONS OF CHAOS
Neatly bridging the gap between my 40k n fantasy stuff is my daemonic horde.
Its got 1 Greater Daemon, 2 Heralds & 20 Lesser Daemons for each of the Four Chaos Powers (Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh & Tzeentch) making a total of 92 Daemons. Most of the Nurgle & Tzeentch stuff, and the 4 Great Daemons were collected as part of my Hordes of Chaos & CSM armies, all i got for this army when it/they came out were the plastic bloodletters & daemonettes. This army is finished too

WARRIORS OF CHAOS
I had a Hordes of Chaos army which was half mortal, half daemons but the new warriors & daemon books messed that up a little. ive got quite a lot of this army actually, and i have....plans for it, plans which will be made during my next year of uni, bwahaha

See, Ive got to use it for an assignment, and its the most awkward, clunky, glitchy, downright disgustingly broken example of a game engine i have ever had the misfortune of using. using Hammer, Valve's level editor, at the same time in another module just highlights how bad Unreal Ed really is

Seriously, its taking it beyond a joke. The amount of stress this assignment is causing its just ridiculous.

The way the levels are built is just stupid, like how you can't manually stretch and deform the boxes. No, you have to go into a little menu and mess around with some numbers for a while using guesswork until the box is the right size.

Finding textures and models is a joke too. You have to open a load of ambiguously named folders that have no real relation to whats inside them. Why isn't there a browser or a little search engine?

Placing them is annoying too. Why can't we just drag & drop from the browser?

Manitee is on course for giving me heart failure. I follow the tutorials on webct to the letter and they still wont work, the points simply wont connect no matter what I try. and you can forget about any kind of look at action, they make the thing crash

Dont even think about trying to make a cutscene (which is what i have to do) because theres no timeline. As well as a timeline being what you need to make a fucking cutscene to any kind of professional standard, the naming conventions of what each option does is very vague. Lets say you want a guy to run into a room and have him shoot another guy, with the camera following them.

Well, you gotta put in a string of points for the camera to follow, and another string for the guy. The guy needs about 20 lines of "code" to run in, face the other guy and shoot him, but theres no chance of getting it synced up perfectly is impossible. you have to put some subactions in the camera points (which is ambiguous) and link up the guys actions to these points.

See, each camera point has a line connecting it to the next point. You would think that an effect, like a fade in, applied to a point would effect the line coming after it. Nope. stuff done to a point affects the line coming before it

Needless to say, this is pointlessly fucking confusing

There is no specific window for this kind of thing. You have to reference point to work from. You must continuously switch from the camera's options to the guy's while using vague guesswork & hoping that he does the right stuff at the right time. each journey from one box of options to another takes six mouse clicks minimum though a system of vague menus. You cannot have the two boxes of options open at the same time.

oh, and sometimes for no reason at all he will just ignore his "code"

The thought that developers actually use this fucking mess to make a game that people actually by is beyond me

After this module is finished, i hope i never have to touch the damn thing again, otherwise something in my vicinity will be set on fire

I've noticed there are many complaints about imbalance, so I've listed my ideas on making TF2 fair for all classes! I hope Valve takes notice!

SCOUT
- Can quadruple jump (only triple jump with the Sandman though)
- The Sandman has infinite baseballs
- The Scout doesn't take damage or knockback from Sentries
- The Scout's melee attacks autocrit

SOLDIER
- The Rocket Launcher has a clip of 10. The Soldier can carry up to 200 of them
- Reloading the Rocket Launcher only takes 1 second
- The Rocket Launcher autocrits. Only joking! It only crits every other shot
- The shotgun and shovel have been replaced by TF Classic grenades

PYRO
- Pyros who hold W and M1 are unaffected by damage and knockback
- Airblast is now has a noclip effect on the Pyro instead of blasting enemies back
- The Axtinguisher does double damage. If it hits a flaming enemy, it does triple damage (this is cumulative with its normal double damage)
- The Pyro has friendly fire

DEMOMAN
- The Demoman runs at 50% speed
- The Demoman cannot fire weapons
- The Demoman cannot capture points or intel
- The Demoman cannot taunt

HEAVY
- The Heavy runs at 200% speed and can double jump. When his gun is revved up, he runs only at 150% speed and can only single jump
- The minigun does not have to be revved to be fired
- Natascha autocrits and is 100% accurate
- The Sandvich gives the Heavy a 20 second Uber, along with completely refilling his health and ammo

ENGINEER
- The Engie can upgrade his buildings with only one swing of his wrench
- Teleport Entrances are indestructable
- The Engie can see where enemy Spies are, with a large icon floating above thier heads. Teammates near the Engie can also see this icon
- Sentry rockets autocrit and home in on enemies. They have no maximum range

MEDIC
- The Medigun & Kritzkrieg can affect up to five teammamtes at once. They replenish ammo as well has health
- The Medic has 500HP
- The Ubercharge meter recharges at 5% per second
- The Medic has no other weapons

SNIPER
- Players who choose Sniper are kicked and permabanned. Additionally, a swarm of deadly, deadly hornets is released from the vents of the player's PC

SPY
- The cloak meter is infinite
- Spies can attack while cloaked
- The Sapper has a range similar to the Sniper Rifle. They need 10 wrench smacks to dislodge
- If you choose Spy, he wins the game. You do not win the game, the Spy does. Because he is so much more awesome than you

So there are my ideas ^_^ I hope they balance the game when they get implemented!
