Remember the overly long journal from a few months ago? As promised, everything is back on track. Several changes happened, but for the better.

Most importantly: my head is completely shaved! X) Which is a rather uncommon decision to make at the age of 23, if you don't happen to have a medical condition or associate yourself with certain political and/or religious groups. Nonetheless, I actually kinda like it and I consider to keep my hair like this... or more precisely not keep my hair at all.

Furthermore, my life improved in both job-related and private aspects. For a good while I will be overall less stressed, so commissions are open again.

I'm also thinking about changing my fursonas design a little. But I'm not sure if I shouldn't better stick with the current familiar, yet kind of boring and undistinctive design...

This is going to be kind of a status report about various things.

First of all, I would like to thank all of you again for your support and all the favs, watches and nice comments I've received over the years since I've joined Furaffinity and the furry community in general. Even if I do not always reply to all comments and favs, be assured, they are not unnoticed and I'm very grateful for every single one of them! You dudes are just awesome!

Secondly, I'm going to clean my gallery soon. That means, I'm about to delete some of the art, that I think does not reflect my current skills in the never ending struggle of trying to become a better "artist" (a term I don't like to use to describe myself). This especially includes most of the art from my early days in the fandom and the Scraps folder. Some of it really makes me cringe X) Maybe I will redraw some of it one of these days (e.g. the One Does not Simply meme, which still seems to be kind of popular after so many years and has been reposted at several places, even quite recently).
Anyway, please save art you've commissioned from me (if you haven't already) for it could be removed from my gallery soon. If it has already been deleted at the time you read this journal: no worries, none of it is lost forever. Just message me. The original files still exist. Every single sketch and picture I've ever drawn is saved on a well organized external hard drive.

Thirdly: Most of the other places you can find me are - as always - linked on my profile. But please note, that I'm not really active on any other art site but Furaffinity anymore. This one here is still the flagship of my artistic online presence.
You don't have to be afraid to drop me a note whenever you want, but I don't really use any of my art accounts as a means to socialize.
My social media accounts (Telegram, Discord, etc.) on the other hand, I almost exclusively use for casual chatting, not for discussing commission details and such things. So if you just want to talk, you probably would want to use one of those, especially since a response usually takes less time.

And finally: Commissions are closed (again). Overall, 2018 didn't start all too well for me. Work and a lot of private stuff still keeps me occupied. A situation that I'm griping about for far too long now, but probably will change in the not too distant future. This time for real, hopefully :)

Payment:
Via PayPal only ( dark-forest@t-online.de or paypal.me/darkforest ) after you have approved the lineart.
Please remember: PayPal does not allow 18+ stuff to be sold, so if you would like a NSFW piece, do not mention it in the payment description.
But please add your username so I know who the payment is coming from.

Refunds/Extra Fees:
All commissions include the lineart to be approved by you before I continue working on it. If you would like a major change after the lineart has been approved, I will charge an extra fee depending on the progress.
You won't have to pay for additional work caused by mistakes I made (e.g. wrong markings, etc.). I will fix those things for free.
If you wish to cancel a commission and the lineart is not yet approved, your money will be fully refunded. Otherwise partial refunds depending on the progress.
I may decline any commission for any reason or terminate a commission in progress. In that case the customer's money will be fully refunded.

Time:
I will not specify a date or time, but I will always finish commissions as soon as I can.

Reposting/Editing:
Feel free to upload my artwork wherever you want as long as you give credit. Pictures showing characters not owned by me also require the permission of the respective owner(s).
You may print commissioned art for your own use.
Any lineart you receive from me is free for you to use, but you are not allowed to sell it as your own after editing it. Don't forget to credit me as the original artist of the lineart.
You are not allowed to remove my watermark.
