Charity stream this Saturday! (and a chance to win art!)
Posted 4 years agoHi there!
This Saturday 7PM Central European Time (12PM Central Daylight Time) I'll be hosting a charity stream over on my twitch channel. https://www.twitch.tv/draconicdusk
All donations will be going to this gofundme
I'll be streaming the blind playthrough of two TrackMania maps.
One called Spaghetti, the title says it all, the map is one long spaghetti track with several junctions and over 700 checkpoints. This map takes an average of 2 hours to clear!
The other map is called Hilberts Plane. This map is one long beam barely wide enough to fit the car on, has only 90 degree turns, fills an entire layer in such a way that it's mathematically the longest possible layout, AND has 0 checkpoints! The map, from start to finish takes 3 hours! And that's if you first try it.
Additionally there are some donation incentives.
If we reach $150
Zaezar will raffle out digital painted headshot to one lucky winner selected from those who donate during the stream. If we reach $300 then that headshot will become a fullbody! These are some of the most expensive pieces in his repertoire and rightfully so, they take a while to make!
How to donate and be eligible for the raffle will be explained in the stream. I hope to see you then! Feel free to share this journal with friends, after all, we need to reach that incentive!
Here's an example of digital painting headshot. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40378636/

Reflecting on 2020 and 2021 goals.
Posted 5 years agoHa! And I thought 2019 was a bad year. That's it, that's the journal.
Fiiiine, let's get this thing over with! First, let's start by reflecting on the year.
It's 2020, I think it's self-explanatory enough. I am fortunate enough that no one in my family got sick, we all took this thing very seriously, followed the rules our governments gave us and what do ya know, it worked! We're all healthy.
I did start College in September, but the whole studying from home thing became too stressful, I had no more 'safe space' and it started getting very claustrophobic in my room. So I had to drop out and went back to work as a mailman. No worries, going back this year and with a plan of action!
I reconnected with some old friends this year. Had a relationship or two, though there were short-lived, still kept two great friends whom I talk to very often! Doesn't always have to end badly. Overall, in retrospect, a good year for me.
Until December hit. One of my best friends irl had a stroke recently. They're stable and in hospital now, but gosh what a shock. Same age as me and they're bedridden until further notice. I won't go into further detail than that.
Now let's look at the goals I had for this year.
-Get my driver's license: Nope.
-Learn to cook: Getting a lot better at it!
-Learn to draw: Small improvements, got a drawing tablet.
-Start college: Yes&No lol
-Make a proper weekly schedule that will improve my productivity: AH... I forgot about this >w>
-Reach 300 followers on twitch (This is almost tripple my current amount): Yeah.. I haven't streamed for like half a year...
-Actually upload my backlog: I did it!.... And have a new, larger, backlog...
-Write and upload a story a month: I think I managed... 1 this year? But hey, I actually got some commissions... which I need to upload... and finish another... *sigh*
-Spend more time with the people I love (this may be at the bottom, but this is the most important to me): This one I nailed. Connected with a lot of people, trying my best to spend as much time as I physically can, though I got burnt out once.
Considering the year we had... not bad right? Now, let's make a list for this year and better yet, how I intend to keep to these things.
Continue spending time with the people I love and cherish. (This time it's at the top!)
Get better at cooking. By helping out in the kitchen more and actually trying to cook from scratch by myself for once. I wanna make big steps!
Get better at drawing, practice something once a week, be it headshots, hands, paws, etc.
Start college (again).
Stream 52 times this year. So once a week, but with a fallback that I can stream twice in one week if I miss the previous.
Upload my backlog and actually upload things the week I receive them. Just need to get this into a habit.
Write and upload a story a month. Length doesn't matter, I need to just write what I feel like writing at the time, need to get into this more!
Make a webcomic. Already getting help from various people on this. Gonna take a while before I actually start uploading though, but hey, something to look forward to?
Get vaccinated. Yeah, I'm aiming to get the Covid vaccine this year.
And this about covers it. I'm in a better mental space than a year ago, feeling a lot better about myself and about my goals. You may have noticed some have been removed from the list, or altered. Sometimes you just shouldn't set the bar too high. Tiny victories and whatnot! It's not about how quick you get there, but that you get there, right?
Anyway, here's to a healthy and Covid-free 2021. Love you all!

Reflecting on my depression, 2019 and new goals
Posted 6 years agoHoooo boy, 2019 was a doozy! Let's start from the start.
The year started off as most years do, I felt happy was spending time with the few close friends I had, preparing for college and working on driving lessons.
Just over half way through the year everything seemed to collapse in on itself.
A lot happened in August and September and I was left battling depression. As much as it shames me to admit it, I did make an attempt at my own life.
I sought help, both through my employer and my friends/family. I saw two psychologists for 3 months straight almost every week. It was very mentally draining at first, every day felt like a chore. There were some days where I honestly thought I didn't have the strength to succeed and I wanted to give up.
However, I never expected to receive the amount of support I did. From both close friends and people I hardly knew, all of you flocked to me and became the crutch I used to keep moving forward. I was seriously blown away.
I'm in a happier space now. I've stopped seeing my psychologists, both of them agreed their services were no longer needed, but both said they were a call away incase anything happened. Now I actually go into my days with a smile on my face. So thank you, you all know who you are.
2019 wasn't all grim though. I picked up streaming again and I've had a lot of fun with it. So much in fact that I've invested a fair amount into improving my streams and I hope to reach more people and either entertain them, help them smile, or even bring them into a community where they will feel welcome.
Despite losing a fair few friends over this year, I do feel like I've connected with more people. I socialise more, even if it's on the internet and I just feel more human than I did half way through the year.
Never done this publicly, but I have goals I want to set out for 2020 which are as followed:
-Get my driver's license
-Learn to cook
-Learn to draw
-Start college
-Make a proper weekly schedule that will improve my productivity
-Reach 300 followers on twitch (This is almost tripple my current amount)
-Actually upload my backlog
-Write and upload a story a month
-Spend more time with the people I love (this may be at the bottom, but this is the most important to me)
So yeah, there we have it. Lots to do, lots to look forward to. I know that this journal has some heavy shit in it, but hiding it away would feel wrong. If I want to move on I've got to be open and honest about where I've been and where I'm headed. I'll see you all in the next decade.
Happy New Year.
Much Love,

Charity stream Loonse en Drunense duinen.
Posted 7 years agoHello everyone, long time no see.
I know I haven't been active as of late, regarding uploading stuff. But I have been keeping up with Fa and what the people I watch have been posting, so no worries there, I'm still in the loop of things.
Anyway down to the reason I'm positing this.
Just over 2 weeks ago a fire raged through my local nature reserve the Loonse en Drunense duinen, a 35 square Kilometer area where 3-4 different biomes exist, and thus many kinda of wildlife. We have the Dunes, the Forests, the lake area and the grasslands. I do not know exactly how much has burned away, but around 20% of the area has been restricted to the public. The reason for this is that although it was extinguished on the surface, the fire continued underground. We had to get specialists to deal with the fire.
On a brighter note, no one died during this fire and we believe many of the birds and other animals that live there were able to escape. However, the same can not be said for their food. Plants and many insects we destroyed during the fire, so it's important that those plants and insects are reintroduced to the area. For this I am hostinf a charity stream, starting at 6PM Central European Time, 5PM British Summer Time, 11AM Central Standard Time on the 6th of August (Today)
Or 5AM Australian Eastern Standard Time on the 7th of August for the Aussies out there.
Please come by and donate via paypal. All money donated will go straight to our national nature monument fund.
The game we'll be playing during the stream is Hollowknight.
Thanks for taking your time to read this, hope to see you guys in about 4 hours <3

Cheep YCH's
Posted 8 years agoNow I've got your attention, I'd like to first thank you for taking your time to read this journal.
My good friend
has recently had the misfortune of his drawing pen to his tablet breaking. He's currently using his backup, but he would rather get a proper replacement. So he needs some money. He's made a substantial amount of YCH's to raise some money to buy said replacement.
This is a great opportunity for you guys to help out an awesome artist and to get your characters drawn for a cheep price. Please, every dollar goes a long way and he would definitely be very grateful to anyone who buys his art. So go check him out and look through his gallery. A few seconds of your time and a $5 bid could get you an awesome pic you wont regret!

Posted 8 years agoHalloween story raffle [CLOSED]
Posted 8 years agoHey guys! So Halloween is coming up, as you're all probably aware, and this year I've decided to contribute to the fun and write a Halloween story!
The story is going to be focusing on vore, though I don't want to give too much away. Also, I won't be using one of my characters, but one of yours! So I'm starting a raffle to see who gets to be the predator in this story. All you have to do is reply to this Journal say you want to join for the raffle.
Of course, If you wanna be a prey, also let me know, there's plenty of slots for that!
The winner will be announced Monday the 9th of October! Good luck everyone!
