I am sending this out there in hopes that any of my friends watching could help me out by pointing me in the right direction.
I have a reference sheet for a fursuit project (thanks to the super awesome onnanoko), but I do not have a regular artistic character reference. I have been looking around for quite a while now for someone to do a full reference sheet for me, but I do not have the time to monitor hundreds of journals and accounts for openings. What I am looking for is a reference for both of Darkk's forms, a bit of flavor text, multiple views, color swatches, and etc... the works.
Having trouble finding someone that (a) Likes and is well versed at drawing dragons and dragon references (b) Is actually open for commissions, and (c) would be finished with it within 6 months. My current budget for this is about $100 on hand. I know this price range limits me away from some really awesome artists, but it is what I can drop at a moments notice. I might consider doing more if the person is interested in taking payments, but a lot of people (including myself) tend to shy away from payments due to being burned in the past by others. We'll play that one by ear... or tail... or whatever :)

For those that did not run into me at RF and before I messed up my left foot I uploaded two pics of my dragon wandering about the yard.
This wonderful work was quickly put together by a dear friend of mine just in time for Rainfurrest this year. She was working on it right up to the hour she drove over and even during the con a bit. She deserves total props!

CON PROS!
Hanged out with some really awesome people, acquired some really cool artwork, paid for much swag with a bag of gold coins (what, you thought dragons had paper money?), danced my tail off on Friday (pun intended), drank with old friends, made a couple new friends, finally suited as myself for the first time ever (in partial, picture to follow in the future), walked around con with a bird on my shoulder (Pip is a huge conversation starter), actually managed to bring myself to Talk to people, and got enough exercise to work off all the 7-11 'food' I ate.

CON CONS!
I missed practically every panel I wanted to see (take That personal time management), struggled with the new auction format of the art show, ended up suffering terrible con crud after escaping its clutches for years, Torrential... Rain..., hurt my left foot pretty bad on Saturday which made me unable to participate in the dance... t'was a major drag the rest of the con (pun intended), ate too much 7-11 'food'.

All in all I came away with many great memories; the bad things were just merely an annoyance. I hope to see y'all again up there next year.

Yes its that time of year again to be reminded that I am no longer a hatchling, and also to check for gray fur. Yay for another year.

Apparently I turn another year older next month as my friends keep reminding me ^-^';;
Good lord why is June nearly half over already? I think I've been working too much... its making time speed forward.

Rawr, I should fly off and have myself a vacation or something.

I won't have enough to make it to other cons this year, but enough has been saved to attend RF later this year. So I'll see y'all there, and hopefully by then I'll be showing off my partial suit a very good friend of mine is helping build.

Looks like I'll be traveling up to Walla Walla / Milton-FW area on Monday and Tuesday for work. Hopefully the roads will stay not-icey... I don't mind driving on ice, but I do mind the other people that don't know how to drive driving on ice.

As of this moment I now have the time off, a way up, and the budget to attend Howloween up north in Canada this year. This will be my first time to Canada in over 10 years, and I'm really excited about it.

If any of my Canadian friends are attending keep an eye out, and say hi if ya see me. Heck even if I don't know ya... say hi anyway :)
