About my Streams
Posted 2 years agoMy picarto has been kind of abandoned so I've been trying to get into Streams lately. I tried doing some Art streams and there doesnt seem to be any issue with my settings, so you can expect me be relatively more active, not every day but at least begin with a once a week or so, depending on my mood. So I'll try to be more active in that regard.

On another note, I've been also considering doing gaming streams, not sure if it's a good idea but is a thought I had. I'm not mainly into the main media or newest games or only AAA games or such, I'm more into the indie category. Fast pased, fast reflexes, quick thinking, action kind of games, and sometimes I can get into a single game for a while.
The only thing that may be a "demotivator" is that I dont voice chat, but at least Im good at games XD (I think). So I wonder what you all think about that? I'm looking for opinions on the matter.

First of all I want to thank you for all the support I got in this hard situation, it's only thanks for your support that I'm closer to reach a point where my health stops being at danger.
I didn't want to leave all wondering how all is turning out and I feel I owe some explanations since you helped me so much.
My first doctor to visit was a cardiologist, since everytime I felt sick I had spikes on my blood pressure, despite of that on my checkout there doesn't seem to be an obvious issue, but I'm still being monitored. On the other hand he was heavily concerned on how my illness is treating me (I won't tell the name of the illness for privacy sake, but let's say my immune system is aggresive enough to end up wounding me).
It seems heavy loads of stress, allergies and bad enviroment is causing my body to struggle way too much. So I got several new meds to attempt to control it.
However, my stress and allergy won't get better unless I change my enviroment, which is probably one of the main reasons for all my problems. So I'm working on moving to a new place, while more expensive and I may struggle staying there, it should be much healthier and hopefully allow me to be more productive to compensate the price spike on renting.
Since some of my sickness symptoms are still unknown I still have some pending doctors, my cardiologist was a bit confused of how my body is behaving so I need to do some exams and tests to start discarding stuff before redirecting me to another specialist.
Again, all these treatments and posibilities to have a better health is only thanks to all the support I received.
If I have more news I think you should know I'll post another journal.

Need Help - Health Care Commission Slots and other Suppor...

As the title points out I'm opening commissions focused on health care. These commissions will be more expensive for the sake of raising funds to pay medical bills.
Context:
As many of you probably know, I really never had a good health condition, I've always been chased by sickness, illnesses, etc. Simply by being born with them. There isn't much I can do to cure them since some of those have no apparent cure.
In spite of all of that, I always kept working and trying to keep up with life just like everyone else. I grew up with the mindset of "I have to work or do something to get what I want" and "I don't like being given things for free", and while I do make exceptions with gifts or donationss, I get the feeling I need to "give something back", I've always been like that and that most likely won't change.
Sadly because of that, my economical condition isn't that good, maybe because my bad health gets in the way and this lack of economy combined with my bad health has given me a few life threatening warnings. Last time was 2 days ago, it was bad enough that I ended up at the hospital with half of my body paralized/numbed. I won't give the exact details for the sake of saving time and privacy but I genuinely thought my life ended there.
Because of that I need to go to several doctors to find out how to improve my health and do several tests. My health is getting worse as time passes and I don't think I can do this alone anymore. Is not only doctors though, the house where I live right now isn't really good enviroment-wise. I need a new place to rent and I need funds for that.

Point:
Having said that, the point of this Journal is raising money to pay for my health care.
I thought of making a GoFundMe but it has 2 problems.
1.- It doesn't have a system to reward people who donates
2.- Is not available in Mexico. I tried finding one in Mexico but honestly they look too random to trust them.
Why not just Patreon/Susbscribestar?
I already have them and while I can receive the funds here, it takes weeks for me to receive the payments. Right now I'm in an emergency and I'll need to get funds in a short time term. I'll still add this as an option thoughl.

In the end after considering things I thought of opening commissions, obviously normal commissions wont help, otherwise I wouldn't be in this position. Delve Into Pawssion - Version 0.6 Launched

The patch 0.6 is here! However, I'll be splitting the patch into 2 parts. This is mostly because there is still unfinished/untested content and I rather not rush it. So meanwhile I'll update you with all the new battle mechanics, Quality of Life improvements, Visual improvements and more.
IMPORTANT: Past saves are uncompatible, if you try to load a save it may give you an error.
What is new?
- Movement: The player now can move in diagonal and run by holding the mouse button.
- Difficulty: After a lot of feedback, I decided to adjust the difficuty, after all, is the begining of the game and letting the player learn everything first is always a better choice. Regardless, the difficulty will increase as the player progresses in the game.
- Battle HUD: New custom and improved Battle HUD, this will help giving the game more personality!
- Combo System: Rather than using QTE like with Timing Attacks, this time the skills will have enhanced effects based on how the player chains their attacks. More reliable too!
- Party members: A certain character is now playable! (temporaly)
- Pawssion Gauge System : There will be a new Gauge that will fill by using Combos. This Gauge will increase its charges as you gain affection and complete quests through the game. These abilities will be an extra resource for the player.
- Items: Items no longer consumes the player turn, instead they will be set on cooldown. Upon usage the item category may be set on cooldown while others may set the whole inventory in cooldown, it will depend on the item.
- New content: There is slightly more content than before! A very small scenario and a new boss fight.
- New characters: Even though these dont have a full conversation yet.
- Added Battle Animations speed in the options settings.
- Potions usage has changed to Battle Only. You can find Field healing items at the Shop.
As for the second half of the patch, it will have the new locations, enemies, quests and Artwork. But that will have to wait a bit more!
Back to the Saves:
Due the new mechanics and features being implemented, specially the new Battle HUD, past saves are no longer compatible, even if they show up when you load the game.
These may keep happening on the future! So keep in mind, since this is an Early Access and many unexpected issues may keep appearing until the full release.
Regardless if there is a Save Wipe I'll try to give rewards like I did with the previous 2 Passwords for Costumes.

- Sttutering in the Forest: Some players has experienced some sttutering while running or walking in the Forest, it shouldn't cause any crash or anything. I'm currently trying to fix it. If you encounter a bug, please let me know!
- Outdated Potions tutorial
- First Aid Kits dissapears from the shop sometimes.

FA staff thinks they know better than artists themselves
Posted 2 years agoAs many of you may know by now, FA is updating their policy/rules about """"minors"""" content, and I put that many quotes because the only ones deciding what is a minor and what isn't is FA staff. Enterely subjective and arbitrary.
I've been trying my best to follow the rules, avoiding certain body types even if they aren't cubs, but these new rules makes it hard to agree with.
At this point I'm not even sure which part of my gallery can cause me a ban, or if my OCs are considered cubs by FA even when they aren't.
So, just to keep this short, I won't deal with other people paranoia, I won't delete a single picture of my gallery, and FA won't be the ones deciding if my chars are cubs or not. We artists are the ones who creates the artwork and we know well the intention behind our work, it would be a mistake to let FA or anyone else to decide what is the intention or meaning behind our own creations.

Patreon has been imposing this ID+Photo verification thing only for NSFW artist, which, if you ask me, is a serious privacy invasion. It wouldn't bother me so much if they have asked me it from the very begining or would be more flexible for creators who has been there for years, or at least let me use Tax documents to verify I'm over 18 (seriously I've been there for 8 years and they don't let me pass)... but I got no help at all from their side, instead, they just tell me basically and to put it bluntly "do it or we will freeze your money". They've been ignoring my concerns, and as long I have options to choose from I won't accept such treatment, and that option is Subscribestar.

I've been checking SS (Subscribestar) for a while and I can see it has more limitations than Patreon, one of the most important is that, as far I know, it doesn't accept Paypal (correct me if I'm wrong please). So I apologize in advance who used that as main pay method. I'll try to check if we use Ko-Fi for those who can only use Paypal, but I'll focus on setting up SS first.
Remember, all content is released for free eventually, sometimes a few days later and sometimes more (because sometimes I'm really busy and forget ^^u). I won't post any kind of fanart in SS, mostly to avoid infractions and all that. If I happen to do Fanart in my free time or such I'll just post it here for free completely.

Posted 3 years agoBefore saying anything, this is a bit of a rant, so please do not share this on social media, my intention is to inform and express myself, if you agree with me, simply share your own words and not copy paste mine. My intention is to keep you informed and not to cause hate or controversy.
Apparently Patreon got "requested" by Mastercard to ask ALL 18+creators to provide a photo of our government ID and a selfie along with it, so they send it to their "trusted" third party company to verify users.
Let's be honest, 18+creators has always been discriminated by Payment processors and websites because our content is "too obscene" and now Patreon/Mastercard wants us to give this information so they can share it to their "trusted" third party company to handle it?
If Mastercard wants to verify +18 creators to fight fraud, why not keep Mastercard debit/credit to adults only so we don't have to deal with all that?
I don't know how it is where you live, but here in Mexico the government ID is something you shouldn't share with anyone or give to anyone with a few exceptions. If you lose it, go and report it because you could get your identity stolen and fraud committed under your name. I won't be trusting any random "trusted" company with handling such information. If there is a Leak in their servers, it is really bad news for us. If Mastercard/Patreon/Paypal want to fight fraud... don't give scammers the tools to steal information to commit fraud -.-

I think artists needs to show rejection towards this kind of stuff. It's not fair that sexual content gets the special aggressive treatment, while other media which is actually damaging doesn't (I'm looking at you sensationalist journalism/news).
It would be nice if they stop hunting us for doing nothing bad. If they get away with this kind of invasive practices, it won't surprise me if later they start putting limitations on other things. Others tried before with "videogames makes people want to kill", they failed thanks to the rejection.
I think is important to defend artistic freedom in all senses as long you don't harm and/or abuse others.
Differentiating between fiction and real life is necessary and shouldn't have the same limitations or we will destroy what art is suppose to be; Freedom of speech and sending a message through other perceptive means.
Thanks to all people who have followed me all this years. I greatly appreciate your support!
If I close patreon I'll just move somewhere else. I know not all artists can simply close an income source, but simply showing rejection can help too.

Need help looking to convert from AVI/Gif to Webm+alpha
Posted 3 years agoI'm trying to upgrade the game adding better animations and such, but for that I need webm+alpha/transparecny. The problem is that most tools or sites I find gets flagged by one or in other ways as "malicious" and I'm not really sure if there is a 100% safe tool or site to use.

Dungeons and Passion Version 0.2.2 (Fixes and Rebalance)

+ Paw print destination marker instead of that flashing white square.
+ Now damaging skills shows what stat improves them.
FIXED:
+ Animation flicker should have been fixed for some players. This glitch is related to performance, I haven't figured out the requirements.
Why did this happen? Unfortunatelly the RPGMaker only uses PNG which are heavy and harder to load. Animations are composed by a quick sucesion of PNG in this case, the flicker happened because the PC isn't fast enough to load them.
How did it got fixed? Thanks to SideB for the assistance, we managed to lower the PNG sizes of the animations. about 80% size reduction, which is why the game size changed from 920 to 470 MB!
If you experience flickering even after the patch try turning off other programs that may be using your CPU.
+Fixed some minor glitches at the animations and at the Gallery
REBALANCED:
+PsyAqua cost 6 - > 5 (Buffed)
+Point of pressure Magic only. Rebalanced for magic users
+Psy-Launch Magic only. Rebalanced for Magic users. It's terrain-damage is still usable by any build.
+Heal Magic strenght reduced, but now also scales with HP. The effect is similar, except now is more effective for non-magic builds. (Buffed)
+Added a Nii House sign for directions at the Forest.
POSSIBLE ISSUES:
Compatibility with old saves is uncertain. If you want to transfer saves, just copy your Save Folder inside the game folder and paste it at the same location in the new version.
And some other minor tweaks here and there.
Since this is a big patch, please let me know if there is any issue!

But the thing here is, I see it also accepts comics and books, and it has tags for Furry and NSFW. I was considering upload some of my stuff like the comics I have here (for free) and my Artpacks (more pay options). Probably not an optimal place to put my art, but more options could be nice.
But before doing so I was wondering if any can share any info regarding itch.io like if you use it before, experiences, if it gave you any issues or if all works nice there?

Deleting some of my content and why
Posted 4 years agoA few days ago I got my account suspended and just recently a mod assisted me in restoring it.
Aparently some of my content was considered cub, unfortunately, what can be considered cub or not is kind of subjective. I don't want my account to get suspended again, so I'll stop posting content that resembles even in the slightest to a cub character like height, types of eyes, etc. Unfortunately that kind of stuff fits some of what I post here despite cub not being my intention while drawing it. But it kind of leaves me no choice.
If you see any content here that could be considered cub in the slightest by others I would appreciate if you leave a comment with the pic so I can delete it.
Because I'll be more careful with what I post, I'll be posting much less here.
