So the new kitten had to go to the vet today, I got a call from my fiance saying that there was something wrong with the kitten and he wasn't reacting properly and all this other stuff..

well i came home, called mom, and we rushed him out to the vet by 7 a.m, waited til 8 for a doctor to come in, and then we just got out right now and its 10:30

so yeah, the past 2 hours have been kind of excruciating. The kitten got some bloodwork done, got checked for leukemia and everything so far has been looking great. Except that he's clearly having problems standing and functioning so it could be neurological OR he may have hit himself in the head too hard. (he's also dehydrated and drooling everywhere)

in total, the kittens bill is over $700 and while normally my paychecks would be enough to cover most of that at least, i need to save my money for Rent and bills or i'm out on my ass and i lose my apartment deposit.

SO my mom helped out again, she put the bill on her credit for the vet, and now i need to make up about $800 or so to make up for using her credit AGAIN.

because my credit is SHIT and i can't get any anywhere. go figure.

regardless. help is needed, so i'd like to gauge some interest over here.

In the meantime, since i've been pulled out of work today, i'm going to go ahead and get some work done on some commissions i still owe folks.

picked up a new laptop to try and save some energy at home.
have a new schedule for work as well, i'll be waking up SUPER UBER early and then going to work until 2:30 (when i used to have to be at work) and that leaves the rest of the day for me to play online and do artwork.

so my schedules for Nesting (taking calls with lots of help) is Monday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday.
and i get Sunday and Tuesday off.

work is super draining though so sometimes on my days off i take little breaks from work (that's kinda what i did yesterday, but i got a little bit of work done)

mornings i DO try and do a little bit of artwork if i'm not just waking up at 12 p.m (normally i try for 11 a.m)
so yeah, i do apologize for the waits and inconveniently slow art turn around but now that my fiance' is no longer working at the same job i do she has a ton of time and has offered to do flats for me while i'm at work and when she has the motivation.

so i mostly just do touch ups, sketches, lines and shading.

i do look forward to posting a bunch of art tomorrow 83 i wanna get this list cut down ASAP.

also may start buying more art, maybe... here and there.... if i have extra cash after food and bills xD

so, as an update to everyone here first off:

I got my first paycheck a few days ago, and a week or so ago my fiance, besty, and I decided we'd be working on moving into a new place because frankly? living in the backroom of my moms garage is hell. My cat has no wandering room because he can't go outside, it's hot as hell because there is no AC, and this room is now literally falling apart. (earlier tonight one of the/ yes one/ swamp coolers fell out of the wall and out into the yard)

this is really really BAD.
if it falls out while we're at work and my cat gets outside, he runs the risk of getting sick again :T and i can't have that. i can't afford it.

we were GOING to move out tomorrow, but when we went to deposit the check we didn't realize it would take $500 and hold onto it until possibly tuesday or wednesday.

so i'm a little miffed about that, but there's nothing i can do about it right now.

BUT TO THE POINT OF THIS JOURNAL.
When we move out, we're literally using all the money we have to get out of the house and into a situation where bugs won't bite us at night and my cat doesn't have to sit at home in the heat alone for 8 hours of the day and risk ants eating his food because the room isn't properly sealed up.

so we're going to need some stuff for the new place.
nothing fancy, just necessities.

Which i may be just too tired to do it. we'll have to see how the day pans out, who knows, maybe i'll be eager to lunge to the tablet and computer and work.

I'll be trying to get a little bit of work done on weekends as well.

I'll be starting full time work soon, so commissions could slow down a bit, but the classes for said job start in the next week (or possibly tomorrow if i get into the classes early) SO i wanted to let you all know what was going on before i drop off the face of the internet all day.

I'll be attempting to wake up in the morning to work commissions off, and then after noon i'll pop off and get ready to go to training, then i'll probably come home and sleep.

rinse and repeat.

that way i have as much time as i can muster to work with both things.

also will be taking my sketchbooks with me so i'll be able to work on commission sketches while i'm out, and then i can edit them on the computer and stuff later :>
so that's something to keep an eye out for!

I'll let you all know when i actually start training, i'm just waiting for a callback from the job to confirm that there is indeed a spot open (which there may not be, and if that's the case, whoo one more week to work full time on commissions!)

So, for those who don't know anyways, I've been super busy this last week, barely even been home at my computer.
I have been working on art while i've been here but it's only been maybe long enough for 1 or 2 inks, maybe a little bit of flats, to get done, then i've been crashing out and leaving for most of the day again.

we (my fiance and I) recently moved back to my parents house cause we couldn't afford to pay rent where we were living. Well, We just finished cleaning the house we were living in so we can try to get our deposit back so Rae can pay back her friend who fronted the money to us in the first place.

ANYWAYS. now that we're done with that i can finally sit down and start focusing my energy on Commissions again, I admit i've missed this, but my god am i tired xD;

the other day i logged onto my comcast to check how much i owed, and when the bill was over $100 and said it was -late- i felt like a fucking dumbass, like, how the HELL could i miss a payment? i swear to crap i paid last month.

So i WAS going to wait to post this til i had more shit done from my list of things to-do.
