It'll give me an opportunity to work on something 'fun' and still make it worth my time.

Thursday we moved a bunch of our crap over here and unloaded it. I'm still trying to find places for everything since I don't have several rooms to spread things out over anymore TnT

My stereo is sharing the desk with my laptop, and my scanner is tucked in a fold out cubby on my book shelf next to me (donno if i can get it to a plug to use it though)

I tried setting my laptop up next to the bed but i ended up distracted by the TV when i did xD so i've moved it to the desk and I HAVE INTERNET at my desk, and no where else in the room (haha awesome)

so yeah, i think this is gonna be its permahome and i'll just curl up in my robe with it at night cause holy balls is it cold out here.

if i didn't say it before, we're out in my moms garage.
The room is -way- bigger than our old room, so everything fits better.... sorta.

we still have stuff to bring over and we're running out of space to put stuff already xD;
Need to move my desk over a smidge to make room for my ref tower where i shove my stereo normally.

I look forward to being done, but there's still a lot to do. Furniture needs to find homes, i need to nail up supports to put my stereo speakers on. TuT;
gotta find a way to get my cat up into the window so i he can chill up there since he loves windows and the only one he can reach is currently dangerous for his help so we have it blocked off.

its a 2 car garage and we finished one side (of 2) but tomorrow i'll be staying home to pack boxes, rather than go back to moms and organize things.

We (Rae and I) will be moving into my moms house in the upcoming weeks.

First we need to pull a bunch of crap out of moms garage and get rid of it.
then we need to plan a yard-sale where we can sell anything that's still good; recycle or trash everything that is not working/ no good and then move my brothers back out into the garage (spare room in the back of it)

after that we need to lug everything 5-6 lights down back and forth and set up our room situation.

I've offered to pay the gas for this, so expect warmups OR regular wing it's in the coming weeks.

Then after i'm moved in i can stop and concentrate on commissions i still owe people harder.

Today after our tabletop roleplay was over, my roomate Informed the group (without consulting us first) that he was putting game on hiatus UNTIL he found a NEW HOME.

So i guess it wasn't that important to tell us that he planned on moving, even though we kinda rely on him and we need a heads up? like, excuse you.

It's fine that he has to move, that's not the problem, we get it, he can't afford to live like this.
HOWEVER. we kinda deserve to know what you have planned, before you tell the world without us present.

Rae didn't know about it til i told her he just broke that to the group so... yeeah.

Went to grab a new calendar for 2014 today, wasn't expecting to be out nearly as long as i ended up being out.
in the midst of shopping for the calendar with my mom i remembered i had to ask when we were supposed to take the tree's down from the airport.

apparently today!

xD; so i went to the airport with mom, then had to get some OJ cause she's getting sick, finally got the calendar. and BARELY sat down at my desk like 40 minutes ago. had to restart my computer, blah blah blah.

so i'm going to get back to work on this specially requested commission for a friend of mine (it's kinda big and i want it done before the 9th)
SO, i'm working on that, then i'll be working on getting inks done again.
I wasn't expecting work to take as long as it's been taking me D<
