one thing i absolutely hate about drawing digitally is that my art shows up completely differently on my phone vs my laptop - it always looks so good on my laptop but the minute i check furaffinity on my phone the colors are completely wrecked -_- i mean so much detail and shading is almost invisible!! it's not really a big deal, just kind of annoying

i feel like my art has been lackluster lately just because of my lack of motivation and how much my attention has been divided. im working on several different projects right now - a lot of writing fanfic on ao3, working on a webcomic project that I've been wanting to make for years, that's still in it's early stages (seriously, i only have a truckload of concept art and 7 panels done so far) and doing my regular art stuff all at once - so i feel pretty spread thin creatively.

i need to keep in mind that nobody is rushing my process of making art - and ever since i narrowed my social media presence down to just furaffinity and nothing else, the pressure is basically nonexistent. but it wont stop me from pressuring myself 😅😅 that's just what it's like to be an artist, especially if you're like me and you consider your art to be your life's work.

if you're also an artist, im sure you deal with a lot of these same things... which is part of why i love having an artist community full of chill, creative weirdos like myself ❤️

i love fall, i love the leaves, holidays, the smell in the air, the seasonal fruits and vegetables, the halloween stores opening - but i also hate fall, because the changing weather and subsequent coldness makes my fibromyalgia much worse, so expect me to upload less frequently until my body gets used to the cold 🥲

i know it probably doesnt make much sense to someone who doesnt have fibromyalgia but its very much a real phenomenon and something i deal with every year

ive been really tired, sad, and scared lately... ive been trying to draw a lot, but it feels like everything comes out a bit lackluster. i need inspiration, and comfort. but im gonna keep trying my best, which is all that anyone can do...

i will specify if its significantly old, about 8 months or more, but a lot of the stuff ive been uploading the past few days is from a couple months ago
im just going thru backlogs and posting whatever i find good enough lol ^_^;
im unemployed (disabled), so i have a lot of time to draw and end up with a lot of standalone pieces, and i try to draw every day - thats about 30~ pieces per month, so it adds up fast. im trying not to spam, but im also trying to build up my profile lol
