sorry for lack of updates, I've been unable to even look at my computer screen very much these past few days. I'm fighting off a flu bug for 2 weeks now (went through a bottle of antibiotics now and even got a flu shot today so I'm wicked tired) and also dealing with pain medicine withdrawal as I'm weaning off my pain patch because my whole body has been itching wickedly. I've been basically tired in all directions because of both of these issues, opiate withdrawal is way worse than I thought it'd be.

luckily I'm now on Oxycotin and seem to be doing a little better after a nap (withdrawal wise only unfortunately) so I'm still sick and unable to really work very well. Hopefully the Oxycotin is stronger than I am thinking it is, my irritability seems to have gone down and I'm feeling better pain wise.

so yeah, no updates, unable to really work very much, but if I do manage then yay. just expect to not get much updates for around at least another week. :C

sorry everyone, been in a lot of pain lately since I ran out of my hydrocodone, but my doctor put me on this pain patch that supposedly is used for people who even have cancer pain. not working as well so far as I'd like, but I guess I got to give it a few days to really work for me. -_-; pain is doing a bit better, but not good enough and I've been super sensitive to light. Going to see if I can get some work done tomorrow or so, not sure. Pain has really been holding me back from working but hoping for the best on this pain patch...

Well, I'm going out of town tomorrow then on Wednesday going into a surgery. Dr. needs to do a scope to see what's causing all of my abdominal pain and check my uterus, so idk how long I'll be recovering or if more surgeries will follow. ._. honestly hoping they find something, because if they don't then it's just back to "well your stress is causing all of this, stop being so stressed out!" as if that's a fucking choice.

DigiXXX is almost over and I wanted to have a website to post "special content" for people in order to bring in revenue for savings and other needs. Thing is I don't think I have the fanbase enough that would even subscribe to my work, which is a bit depressing but not surprising.

Even so, I'm wanting to try Patreon out and see if continued content will keep people up on helping an artist pay their bills and such. This content won't be posted on FA or anything, it will be Patreon only, but I haven't figured a theme and such for my account. I was thinking of having a "monthly" theme, I don't know. x_x;

I already made an account, I just haven't launched it because I just don't really know what entirely to do or if people will even be interested in pledging a few bucks to me! ;A;

I know, I know, a lot of the community hates Patreon, but I think the main hate is "artists getting paid for art" that the haters seem to be so against. Patreon seems to be a simpler version of an artist making their own "pay for" website, which was something I was considering anyway after finishing the final parts of DigiXXX and these straggling commissions.

And not that I'm ungrateful for the customers I get now, but I was thinking Patreon could be for those folks that couldn't pay full price commissions but would like special "for their eyes only" content and help throw in a few bucks here and there for the artist.

well the art is going to be a bit slow still, even more so now. The reason is that my Seasonal Affective Disorder and PTSD just SLAMMED me way early this year. Usually I don't get hit until mid November, but we got some super cold weather in my area and the smell of "late fall/early winter" really forced me into a big fat mess in my head to the point where I'm too terrified to go outside if it's below 60 F just to merely avoid more flashbacks and the uneasy feeling of needing to vomit and cry.

so yeah, if I suddenly drop off the internet, I fell into a deep depressive cesspool that will take a while to crawl out of. I'm really trying, but being hit so hard and so early in the Fall is really fucking with me. ;-;

so yeah, to those who are expecting commissions from me, I've been bogged down from a family emergency AND also the fact that I'm still dealing with DigiXXX. I finished the book but I'm dealing with extras that pledgers who paid higher prices are doing. I have at LEAST 45 pictures left to do, if I did my math right. but honestly that means I'm almost done because that's only half of the pledgers. I finished a big first chunk last month.

BUT, commissioners, you are not being passed to the side, I'm adding color and such to your pictures when I have the willpower to do so between these DigiXXX pledges.

Speaking of DigiXXX, Rabbit Valley will get me a final printers quote in the next couple days now that I have my files in a proper printing format, so physical copies will get to me in the next couple of weeks. That means you too will have your copy soon if you ordered a physical one. :D

I honestly hope to be done with all of this DigiXXX work by my birthday in October so I can just alleviate the immense stress this has put on me. because of my inability to get work done fast due to depression and fatigue and the fact I've been through a lot this past year with being on medication that aggravated my undiagnosed BiPolar disorder and being popped into a mental hospital over it along with moving back in with my parents, a lot has changed for me. BUT, I'm happy to say it's all been for the better, my final huge stress that I need to unload is simply finishing this DigiXXX business.

I'm sorry to say that anyone expecting a DigiXXX part 2, it won't be happening. I took far too long to do the work in this and I know it left a lot of people stressed out and even angry that the release not only didn't happen on the expected date but took a damn long while to get out anyway.

I MIGHT be doing Patreon for special extra content for folks, but this is a huge maybe. I kind of want to avoid the drama that bitchy people have popped up over Patreon, considering it's just another way for artists to earn an income, and trust me, doing all that content is fucking earning a pay check. Don't come to me bitching about how Patreon is ruining everything, because that means you obviously don't know how hard it is to earn money as an artist.

I just really need to work on deadlines, it's something I've struggled with very badly during all my years as a commission artist and even as a student. Luckily I'm no longer in college (had to drop out, it was too much for me. :'C) so that stress is gone, but I still need to work on finishing this project ALONG with getting these couple commissions I've had on the table for a couple of months.

I've been fortunate that moving in with my parents means i no longer have bills to pay so I've been able to keep tight on my funds, but the money I have in my bank is ALL going to printing and shipping costs. :C so I haven't been able to spend money on anything myself that I've needed like vet bills for my pup or medication for myself. Once I get regular commissions going, I'll be much more happy that I can finally start paying for my own responsibilities. That may sound strange to some that I WANT to pay for my own things, but I don't want to be a burden on my parents for my own needs like keeping my dog and myself healthy in these medical senses. Hell, I just want to get to a moment where I feel like a responsible adult again instead of just some laze about that can't afford even a bag of chips for herself.

So sorry for the extra month wait, everyone! My family decided to spring a family vacation on me and I've been out of town for the past few weeks as well as without internet for an extra week once I got back, so I wasn't able to really look up reference pictures for Digimon. :C But I FINALLY finished all 45 pages of DigiXXX! :D all I need to do is fix up the appreciation page that has everyones name on it, but since I've done 5 pictures today, my eye sight is blurry so I don't want to get anyones username wrong as well as miss anyone in my massive email! :O
