Ok, since I've had zero luck finding anyone who does detailed custom kigurumi that is open, I'm gonna roll up my sleeves and try doing this bad boy myself!

That said, I'm putting a call out for anyone who knows a reputable person that offers custom embroidery. I'm primarily looking at having the hood embroidered, the markings I'd be sewing by hand. For ref, it's the gearwyrm face in my icon.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction, I'd be super grateful!

So, not so hypothetical, hypothetical question. Say you happen to be sitting at a restaurant during a fur meet and are talking with a friend about a new convention that was starting up and expressed confusion at the name. The confusion stems from the fact that depending on how the convention name is read it sounds a lot like a furry adult card game that exists. During the course of conversation one of the people that is apparently involved in starting up the new convention is standing nearby. You and the friend mentioned to them that a lot of people are a bit confused because of the name similarity and were wondering if one was affiliated with the other. Person who is involved in the new convention says, and I quote "No, only stupid people think that." Now tell me, am I the only one that their first response to that comment would be to think, "Wow what an incredibly freaking rude and unprofessional a******. I totally have no desire to attend that convention now." Because call me crazy, but in my mind if you are running or helping run a convention one would think that some professionalism and common courtesy would be something you would want to make sure to keep in mind. But hey, I guess I'm just silly like that. I tend to not call people stupid or assholes out of nowhere just because they asked a question. There are about a million and one ways this person could have fielded that question withOUT coming across as a total jerk lacking in even the most basic of manners.

Long story short, those trying to start up new events might want to try using a bit of common sense and courtesy before opening their mouth and inserting their foot.

Posting this as a general shoutout because aaaaaall of my records and notes for my work list and shipping info was on the old tablet. And I did not use the cloud, or Google docs, or anything other than a notepad app. Which was dumb.

Alrighty everyone. We've been threatening it for some time now.

Tonight, Sciggles and I will be streaming, me at 8pm once the little monster is tucked into bed and she at 9pm, directly after me.

What is the theme of the streams, you ask?

"We've sculpted so many of these gorram things, we can probably do it blindfolded...."

Yup. We will each be attempting to fully sculpt a Wyrm head. Each of us will announce during the stream the Breed we will be attempting. Our eyes will be completely covered during the actual sculpting. Once the heads are sculpted, they will be cooked, clearcoated, and fully assembled. These 'Blind Sculpt' Wyrms will then be put up on the forums via short term auction. (Meaning highest bid posted by the time we wake up the next morning gets it.)

Obviously, we won't be able to read comments whilst blindfolded, so you all will be at the mercy of whatever silliness we feel like talking about. But if you feel like having a laugh while we fumble with clay, by all means come keep us company!

Alright, so I'm looking to replace my old tablet that went for the...um....flight? I'm not particularly interested in going the Apple route again, simply because none of Apples products seem to like playing nicely with other programs, software, etc.

I'd really like to hear what folks think a good option would be. I'm open to looking at all different options, though something considerably cheaper than an iPad would be awesome.

Primarily I need something I can use my square reader with, respond to emails and such, use online to access refs for commission work, and have a digital portfolio I can carry easily.

Having the ability to do sketching on the tabllet would be a definite perk, though not 100% required.

So.....thoughts?
